Always wondered this, is there a difference between the World Footballer of the Year and the World Player of the Year? I mean is there different criteria for each or is just two reporting bodies giving an award for the same thing (like the AP vs the USA Today Coaches poll)

I'm currently managing in the MLS, what is a Senior International? a Transitional International?

Senior International Players: Foreign Players above the age of 23 (Limit of 3)
Transitional International Player: Foreign Player below the age of 23 (Limit of I THINK 3 or 5)

I believe that your AP/USA Today comparison is generally correct on this. I know one is given out by FIFA, the other by, I believe, a magazine.

yeah- the I believe the latter is given out by World Soccer- which is probably more respected than FIFA... :D
