I'm in Houston for the NRA Annual Meetings. Had to get my suit pressed and thought I'd go ahead and get some dress shirts laundered as well. Took the clothes downstairs to the valet this morning. Supposed to have them back by 6:00 tonight.

Now they can't find the clothes.

Just had a visit from housekeeping, along with the gentleman who says he delivered the clothes to my room. I was trying to be nice, but I think I might have come across as an ass when I said "Well why don't you come in and show me where you put them?" Yes, someone MUST have broken into my room, ignored every other item of clothing I have, ignored the laptop, ignored the wrapped presents on the table, gone into the closet and stole my clothes.

It's the only logical answer.

My sister and her family actually live just north of Houston. They came down tonight and took me out to dinner at a placed called Lupe's Tortilliarie or something like that. Good fajitas.

I've also gotten my Sonic lemonberry slush fix, although I have to have a chili cheese dog before I leave. And I had biscuits and gravy for breakfast today.

Damn it's good to be back near-home.
