For me the number one answer right now is Secondhand Lions. I remember thinking after the movie ended that I would of loved to of seen that kid grow up with his two old uncles. I think this would of made a great 30-minute TV comedy series.

I was also very surprised that no network ever took a stab at The Lord of the Rings. I know, Hobits on TV may seem stupid, but it has worked before. Beauty and the Beast, Dinosaurs, Alf, and a couple of other Sci-Fi spins.

The Elephant Man.

I think a show detailing his experiences trying to be a successful Broadway actor while working for a taxicab company would have been hilarious. Or, you could always have him living in a large apartment in the Upper East Side and have him adopt two African American kids. Pretty much writes itself at that point.

Supertroopers, although it would have to run on Comedy Central.

Momento - they can just repeat the same episode over and over

isnt that pretty much what the office is? or is it different? i can't imagine there being too much different stuff they can do in an office setting.

The Office is Britsh humor. Office Space is Mike Judge Humor. Big difference.

What about I Heart Huckabees?

Agreed.

I also think The Incredibles would work very well as a TV cartoon series. (And I don't rule it out happening either. Disney seems to like to turn a lot of their animated movies into TV cartoons. Usually not the CG ones, though)

Napolean Dynamite would make a good show too.
