Oh my that looked wicked. If you watch closely at his groin area (where the injury took place) I think you can actually see the tear happen.
NOTE: You pervs stay out of this one. :p

Nomar makes Ted Johnson look like Cal Ripken.

The one plus I can see for Cubs fans that want to keep him is, his value should go down. I can't see him getting a long term contract at big bucks when he continually has injury issues.

They were saying today that the muscle completely detached from the bone.

OK, so what should happen now, since he left Boston and they went on to win it all, is that the Cubs will play inspired ball until August, when Nomar returns and fucks it all up despite hitting .313. The Cubs will blow another lead down the stretch and end up out of the playoffs.
If only he had been lost for the season...

Yeah..so much for the big contract year numbers everyone expected....
I bet the Braves sign up. They seem to sign everyone who is down and out lately. No wonder they (though they are my fav team) can't score any runs.

Baltimore maybe? They like old non contributing yet highly paid players .

Did they make a decision on surgery yet?
Poor Mia, with Nomar with this type of injury, I'm sure she's not getting much...

They have 7 to 10 days to decide on surgery, I imagine he will be sent to a few specialists before a decision like that is made.
