FOF 2004 Question: Scouting Costs: Bug?

Is there a known bug when calculating the scouting costs for the balance sheet?

I remember seeing on the hire scout screen that a team's scouting costs are 15 times the salary of the lead scout. I don't think I've ever paid my lead scout over 500k, but I had one year where my scouting costs were over $41 million! Also, last year my scouting costs were down, but there were still around $16 million. Even at $500k, my scouting costs should only be $7.5 mil. Has anyone else run into this, or am I possibly missing something else?

I thought I would give this post one more whirl. I also tried searching the board and didn't see anything on a bug. However, one poster in another thread said that scouting costs were 45 times the lead scout salary and not 15 times. Is this maybe what I am seeing? I could swear, however, that on the screen where you submit an offer to your scout that it says scouting costs are 15 times his salary. Anyone know for sure?

I can tell you that in the game it says that it is 15 times, but I don't know of a scouting bug.

My balance sheet for my one MP league says that my scouting costs were $3.45 million for the year, and my scout makes 240k per year. 240k * 15 = 3,600k. 230k * 15 = 3,450k though. So, I don't know.
