By the way, I don't think ebay is the problem here.

I'm a packrat but when you can't see the walls and floors, it's time to stop.

That's what I thought but I was of the impression that they were compulsively neat...

Did you not see the 2-inch dust layer? Not only that, but even if they were "cumpulsively" neat, it still fits the OCD mold. Trust me, my mom is the poster child.

Oddly, the thing that upset me the most was her monitor. Come on, lady, if you're going to dedicate your life to looking at junk on the internet and buying it, at least get a decent sized monitor.

My mom is like that. Her house is not cluttered to the extent of that one, but I'm sure in time she will make a run for it. :D

I remember seeing this months ago, but can't remember if it was here or from an email that a friend sent.

I had a friend who had OCD and was far from 'neat' ...
(he also attended psychiatry sessions for around 5 years for it before being cured by 'getting a life' (in simple terms, he went to college instead of vegging around the house and found that after a couple of months he simply didn't have the problem any more because he was too busy living) ... make of that what you want ....)

Funny as heck.
You still shouldn't make fun of your mom on the internet, though.

I have a few mannerisms and oddity's that could qualify me as borderline OCD, don't feel the need to go to the doctor though. I am messy as hell. MY TV room's a mess, but if there is a piece of mess in my field of vision that wasn't there yesterday it'll drive me mad.
I'm not OK in the head.

I think most people are like that having odd quirks, I know I am -personally I believe in the saying that ... "People are only normal until you get to know them" :D

Yeah, I think as things are defined these days, every single person could be diagnosed with ADD and OCD. Part of it is called "being human".

My favorite day of the week is garbage day. I throw away perfectly good stuff all the time.

Who the hell put that extremely large tree in front of that house? It's two times the size of it.
