Unfortunately, this one isn't being shown anywhere but LA and Minnesota, I think.

Bartolo Colon is outpitching Johan Santana in a 2-0 ballgame going into the bottom of the sixth. And the total hits given up by the two pitchers is just three.

Colon is definitely on his game, and Santana is, well, Santana. He's piutched well, but if things keep going as they are, Santana may register his first loss in 18 decisions stretching to last year.

Oh, yeah, and for the longest time the only difference was a mistake pitch Santana threw to Vlad Guerrero. I just love it when games come down to two truly incredible players going head-to-head. :)

Wish you all could see it.

Rub it in a little bit why don't you.

You're a Twins fan? Not a Tigers fan? :)

Seriosuly, I offer that not to point out how great Colon is doing, but just to say to all the baseball purists here (of which there are many) that there is one heck of a wwell-pitched game going on, if they can catch it. Colon seems to be getting better if you can believe it. He's just blowing hitters away now.

Besides, you guys got the first two, so we need to get at least one, right? (crosses fingers)

lol...Santana just made the kid Dallas McPherson look silly. Wow, McPherson out in front of that offspeed. Santana pitched it perfectly, throwing heat and then dropping off at just the right time.

No, I just love baseball. Not a real huge fan of the Tigers but I'll definitley watch them if they're playing.

Oh, got it. Yeah, if you're not seeing it, I guess hearing it's going on would suck, huh? Sorry about that. ;)

Look at it this way--you get direct coverage when Magglio takes a bat to attack Ozzie Guillen. I will only get Sportscenter coverage. :)

Santana almost struck out the side in the eighth--the EIGHTH--inning. He had two strikes on victim #3, Jeff Davanon, but lost him and walked him (Davanon was then thrown out trying to steal).

Crap, Colon appears to have twisted his ankle trying to jump up and nab a high hopper by Jacque Jones with one out in the eighth. Jones also got on (of course) meaning Colon has given up his second hit.

Colon's coming out of this one now, so no more two pitchers complete games going on (would have been nice). This is bad news for purists and for Colon fans, but good news for Angels fans, because now we bring in the best bullpen in baseball to nail it down. :)
