My parents are getting ready to move out of their house so a couple of weekends ago I went up to Colorado to get my junk out of there. When I got back I found some pictures that a 13 year old Jeeber took around 14 years ago. Thought you might enjoy these pics of the local landmark... :)

I have a few more from the same trip that I think are from your neck of the woods. However, my scanner is giving me trouble all of a sudden. I'll see if I can get them up in a bit...

OK, got the bastard going again. Here we go.

I wish I had written down where the pics were taken, though. Can't remember the details on some of them (such as these next few)... :(

I think these last two pics were modern day views of Van Gogh paintings...

Cool !
Weather was kind of crap though, we usually have a much bluer sky!

Van Gogh lived in Arles so I suspect that's what your last pictures are.

I am also pretty sure the Arch is in Nimes.

No clue about the statues though...

I think the the statue in the pic below the arch has some significance in that it's one of the very few intact statues of Augustus Ceasar (or something like that). If I remember correctly it's in a small colloseum somewhere.

We actually went to Pont du Gard two or three times, and at least one of the times it was very sunny and nice. However, I happen to think that the fog makes for some picturesque photos... :)
