I do so hate packing.

To me, what's even worse, is the unpacking.

It's not the unpacking that really sucks, it's finding something to do with the gazillion boxes you used to move shit in.

Still not finished unpacking from the move in late January. The girlfriend promises me she'll get to work once classes are over. Yeah, right...

packing is worse than unpacking. Packing has a deadline attached to it. You may never completely unpack everything.

CW, I think you should take a coffee break. You need to pace yourself.

We just moved into our house this past weekend. The garage is box city. BLECH!

I'm not in any particular hurry just yet, since I need to find a place before I haul all this shit up there. Just getting a few of the easier things taken care of now.

Heh. I just found a box full of computer game manuals and other miscellaneous shit I never unpacked from last time I moved.

Rule of thumb. If whatever is in the box is so unessential that you didn't need to unpack it after the last move--you can probably just throw the stuff out. You apparently don't really need it.

LIES!

Nothing ever gets thrown away in the world of CW.

We're having the worlds' most massive yard sale in a couple of weeks. Our last house was 2,600 sq. feet. We didn't need that much space - or "stuff" - and bought a 1,400 sq. ft. home. We are going to sell so much crap....

And I say now the mantra of every living soul who has ever moved.

"Good lord have a I got a lot of shit."

I just went through a move last weekend. My 2nd move in 6 months. And yes it does indeed suck but having movers move everything with the exception of two car loads always helps. :)

The title of this thread led me to believe a story of a young Wilt Chamberlain was in the offing...

Disappointed.

DVD's, books, nintendo shit, plates, pots, pans, glasses....PACKED.

And it still doesn't look like I've done a damn thing in here. :)
