So I fought a comp. virus last night IExplore32.exe and I won, kinda. Now I cant use regedit anymore, it says this:
windows cannot find 'regedit'...blah blah blah
thats not good. How can I get that back to finish the clean of this insidious crime of viral infestation? Who, oh Who, of such dark influence would carry out such evil deeds? I beg to ask could it be the Sith?

Yeah but any time you have to download some 3rd party software to run a basic Microsoft function because while you were cleaning up a virus you somehow lost regedit functionality it is time to reload and get rid of the quirkyness.

Well the computer is not used much anymore, only USFL so as long as it can do that we'll be ok.
System restore had to be disabled during the fight. I now have re-enabled it but I dont want to roll back now that the virus is gone.
I think were ok here.

look in the windows directory for regedit. you might have deleted it, or the virus may have deleted it.
