Hi folks, (This was posted first in another forum and it was recommended that I post here)

I am new to this community but I have been playing Front Office Football since the first version came out. I just got FOF 2004 about six weeks ago and I have played a 30-year league. I was able to get jobs with four different teams over that 30 years.

My question for everybody is what is your highest single player GM rating for a single season? I used the highest difficulty level, and started with a poorly run team (Bungles). No cheating was allowed (save and reload is cheating in my opinion). You can exceed the cap only to sign draft choices.

I moved to Miami after my first FOF bowl win in Cincy, then to Philly after the first bowl win in Miami. I am currently in Dallas in my second season there and I am in the process of building another team.

My highest rating was a 94 and that was after a bowl win. The ratings I received were; Perform = 86, Roster = 77, Profit = 100, Value = 98 - record was 15-4. Profit that year was $143 million. Granted this season was in 2031 so I had plenty of time to get it right.

So my questions are; what is your highest single player GM rating for a single season? Has anybody gotten a higher rating? Did I miss a thread with this same topic?

Thanks for responding,
Scott Kolleck

Just looking through my save games, haven't played single player in quite awhile. I've gotten several 97's, none higher.

hey, welcome to FOFC. as for an answer to your question, the highest that I see in 2004 is a 91. Strangely that's from a year when I went 10-7 as the Browns , loosing in the divisional finals, versus any of the 2 SB wins I had with them. I was focusing on fiscal responsibility in that save (to the point of demanding that i was under the cap at all times and minimizing bonus payouts to players) so I think it's personally more impressive that that was my second year in cleveland and my profit was 100 (it was 84 the year before and 93 the year after)

I am not sure how the roster scoring works on the GM ratings. Does anybody know how that score works?

Thanks,
Scott

My roster score has always been real low, rarely above 70. Been wondering that myself.
