I have created a roster file that is based on the 1950 NFL season.

I am also working on some draft files through the 1950's to go along with this file.
Front Office Football 1950 Player File Readme
This file contains 68 real players from the 1950 season. I made no effort in trying to assign the correct team to each player, or include a player's draft history. Because of this I would suggest selecting the complete draft, or a preference draft button when starting a new game, when using this player file. The initial salary cap for this roster file is $10 million.
Players birthday, high school, and college data is mostly accurate. A few players played high school football in towns that aren't programmed in the game, so I listed their hometowns as either Philadelphia, or Pittsburgh. A few players are also listed at playing at a small college, as their respective school isn't in the game. Information on players was found in the text Total Football: The Official Encyclopedia of the NFL (1st edition).
There were obviously more than 68 active players on rosters in 1950, but I decided to just include the notable players of the time. If you feel a player should be added please contact me with a private message on this board.
