I want to get into online gaming again and need a Video Card to do it on PC or just go with XBox Live.

I would say it depends on what Xbox games you have vs. what online games for the PC you already have. Keep in mind the Xbox 360 will probably kill the Xbox Live for the 1st Generation Xbox in about a year.
