is there a way to multple sim in FOF?

i want to get some history in the league.

so was hoping i can sim so many years and let the cpu run everything regular season and offseason stuff without having to be my the computer.

then after 20 years am i able to pick what team i want to coach?

thanks

No, you have to "own" a team at all times. This would be a nice feature to add however.

No, you can't set he game to sim 20 years and walk away from the computer. The best you can do is set the options to have the coaches handle everything then quick sim the entire season, skip the offseasons, repeat 20 times, and hope some team will be amenable to hiring you.

for offseason, if you have coaches handle everything, will they do all the offseason stuff too like signing free agents, amatuer draft, franshise tag, ticket price, etc?

Yeah.

are you sure?

i just try it and it doesnt seem like it doing any of the offseason stuff for the team you have. for example it doesnt seem like there bidding on any free agents in the offseason. it seems like you cant sim offseason stuff.

it seems like having coach handle everything is for gameplans, depthcharts and signing players for regular season only.

if you cant sim offseason stuff, that wil make the team weak compare to the other computer teams.

i hope in future FOF they have a multiple sim button where it will sim so many years for regular season and offseason. you can be away from the computer when its simming. OOTP and Total Pro Football has something like that.

They will fill up your roster, after training camp.

true

but it doesnt seem like you can sim offseason stuff like bid on free agents and have your coaches handle it.

so that makes your team become weaker compare to the other computer teams.

the coaches handle things like you said only after training camp if you sim.

I didnt really think you cared how good the one team was because all you were trying to do is build history. You could switch teams you control often and i bet that it would be pretty even.

i guess that true.

was just hoping to make it fair for all teams when simming so many years for history.i just wanted all teams to be involved in the offseason stuff when simming too.

thanks for your help. appreciate it.
