The nest feature film Star Trek XI is only 2 to 3 years away, according to Star Trek producer Berman.

Berman hasn't exactly inspired confidence in me as of late. Turn it over to someone who knows how to tell a thrilling story.

here is a link that works. Sounds like they have the writer of Band of Brothers working on the script.

I'm a Trek fan, but I am very, very gunshy after the debacles that were "Star Trek: Nemesis" and "Star Trek: Enterprise."
I'm leery of this development - mildly hopeful, but leery nonetheless.

I enjoyed Nemesis. :)
The other series after Next Generation were crap.

What they need is a Q movie! (I am contractually obligated to mention that in every Star Trek thread.)

Yes they do! A Q movie was all but promised given his parting words in the Next Generation's series finale: "See you...out there."

Problem is, the actor who plays Q is starting to look a bit 'aged.' And the demographic they are always after is the under 34 crowd. *I sit here with my Captain Kirk coffee mug*
Shatner was to be the surprise guest on the last Enterprise episode, but Shatner let it out during some interview that when the Trek people got in touch with him and heard his monetary demands, they never got back to him. Guess Denny Crane has learned how to bill by the hour.
