Saw a commercial for a series called Over There on FX last night:

Looks like it's going to be a series about soldiers in Iraq, and it definately piqued my interest. Anyone hear anything about this?

It looks pretty decent. If its anything like oilstorm then it may be worth watching.

I'm probably going to give it a shot. FX has come up with some pretty decent series in the past couple of years. Might be that this is a bit too depressing to really enjoy, but time will tell.

For anyone interested...

the show starts on the 27th, but is premiering on DirectTV on the 26th for those with TIVO.

Not a bad start. A bit scattered, but I'll be watching to see what happens.

And no more bumps from me. :D

All the reviews I've read have been excellent. That said, I get a big enough dose of Iraq related stories off the evening news and have zero interest in watching a TV show about it. Regardless of the critical acclaim, this is one show I'll bet is headed to an early demise.
