View Full Version : FOF Fictional League Starting in 1967 (setup question)

I started my league, and everything looked fine. I wanted to take over my team in 1996 (30 years), but I've noticed a couple things that could be problems:

1) Since I had to pick a team at the start in 1967, now I have a GM history. I wanted to get hired in 1996 .... Under Global Game Options I see I can reset General Manager Records, but the same thing still exists in the Almanac.
How do I erase the GM Almanac?

2) I have my scouts draft and handle the roster signings for the team I wanted to eventually take over. But it looks like the scouts sign FAs, but let my own FAs go. I noticed all my really good players leave, and my team is always about 20-30 mil. under the cap.
Do the scouts really let these players go since I am "GM", or am I just trippin?

3) Did I set this up all wrong?

1) I'm sorry, but I don't know what you're referring to. GM Almanac?
2) The game isn't really set up so that you can take a "vacation" or just watch teams.
3) I'm sure you set things up as well as you could've.

YOu can just NOT take over a team for the 30 years, but you cant do it through a manager career.

Um, I don't think that's correct. If it is, then I'd like to know how.

Put every team on computer manager and just sim seasons. It's what Skydog did get to all of his ootp 6.5 information and stat

I can clear the box in circled in yellow, but the one in red I can't.
