Long ago last fall I had a dynasty going called Average Joes. Linked here:

Basically the premise was to follow the careers of several players through TCY and into their NFL careers. However they were not going to be the top shelf players that are followed in some other dynasties, instead they would be lesser talents, players who aren't great but will have a chance to start for some lesser schools and maybe make it into the NFL. I really had fun with it back then and thought I would start it up again. Currently I am going through the selection process and I will post this year's Joes once I get them. One thing I learned last time is that where the players are ranked is very critical, too high and they will be recruited by big schools and ride the pine, too low and they won't get picked at all. The first time around I tried players who weren't ranked in the top 1000, but I may aim slightly higher this time, to give them a better shot of competing in the NFL, even though they won't be stars.

This year's Joes:
Rodney Stickney, QB, Apex, North Carolina - 6'3" 195 lbs
Rodney is ranked the 81st QB in the country, and the 3rd best in North Carolina. Hailing from Apex (just a few miles from where I live,) Rodney is a smart kid (3.34 GPA) who wants to major in Spanish. Unfortunately my scout could use some improvement, but he thinks Rodney is about a 49/100 right now, with solid preparation both academically and athletically. His stats so far are 50-105 for 623 yards and 4 Tds against 2 picks, but he also has 5 rushing scores, so he likes to run.
Rodney is looking for a prestige school above everything else, though distance is a factor.
Orlando Stoyanovich, WR, New Oxford, Pennsylvania - 6'2" 177 lbs
The flamboyantly named Stoyanovich is the 96th best WR in the country, and the 6th best out of PA. He’s decently smart and wants to major in Geology. Our scout rates him at 55/100, and our scout really knows his business. His athletic preparation could use some improvement but he is sound academically. His high school stats show a receiver who can make big plays out of nothing, he has only 23 receptions so far but they are good for an impressive 560 yards and 3 scores.
Orlando is looking for a solid academic program that isn't too far from home.
Bert Rolle, RB, Hartford, Michigan - 5'11" 194 lbs
Bert is the 78th ranked running back in the country, and the 8th best in Michigan. He's very smart (3.77 GPA) and has an interest in Geology. Our excellent scout has checked him out and ranks him 49/100 overall, with a strength in breakaway running. He is pretty well prepared both academically and athletically. So far this year he has 106 rushes for 578 yards and 3 TDs, in 4 games. He has tacked on 3 receiving scores as well.
Bert wants to attend a strong academic program that isn't too far from home.
Hardy Griffith, S , Hyattsville, Maryland - 6'1" 185 lbs
Hardy is rated the 86th best safety in the country and the second best out of Maryland this year. He's not a great student and has struggled academically (2.57 GPA, 855 test.) He states an interest in majoring in Algebra. Our scout says that his academic and athletic preparation can use some definite improvement, however he has talent, rated 50/100 right now. His main skill is as a ballhawk, and his stellar 10 interceptions in 4 games so far show that! He's also had 26 tackles and a sack, as well as playing a little at RB and WR from time to time.
Hardy is looking for a school that's close to home and that is fairly prestigious.
Wally Dailey, DE, Calabasas, California - 6'2" 241 lbs
Wally is rated the 89h best DE in the country and the 12th best in his state. He's a great student, with a 3.91 GPA and an interest in Education. Our scout in the area is not the best with d-linemen, but he rates him as 51/100, with decent athletic preparation. Rushing the passer is his biggest talent, and so far in 4 games he's racked up 6.5 sacks, 15 tackles and an interception.
Wally is interested in a prestige school with solid academic credentials.

Week 1
Pre-season Top 5 - Michigan - Oklahoma - Miami - Florida State - Ohio State
Stickney - Rodney is getting a lot of interest from schools, this week he is contacted by San Diego State and South Florida. All have decent prestige ratings, but no scholarship offers yet. He had a good game this week, with 166 yards throwing, a passing touchdown, and a running touchdown. He's rushed for 448 yards through 5 games!
Totals: 62-125 for 789, 5 TDs, 2 INT. Rushing 92-448-6
Stoyanavich - Orlando is contacted by Kentucky and Temple this week, with Temple tendering an early scholarship offer! Will he choose to stay close to home or wait for more offers? He adds another 101 yards receiving this week.
Totals: 30-661, 3 TDs.
Rolle - Bert is contacted by hometown school Eastern Michigan, but also by Arizona. He's expressed a desire to stay close to home though. Bert had a nice game this week, going for 188 yards as well as a receiving score.
Totals: 128-766-3 on the ground, 14-146-4 receiving.
Griffith - Hardy didn't hear from any schools this week, but he's waiting by the phone. He should get some attention with the numbers he's putting up, this week he had 9 tackles, an interception and half a sack.
Totals: 35 tackles, 1.5 sack, 11 interceptions
Dailey - Wally also didn't hear from any schools. They seem slower to pull the trigger on defensive players, wanting to watch them through more games to see their athleticism at work. 5 tackles, half a sack, and an interception this week should get them interested!
Totals: 20 tackles, 7 sacks, 2 interceptions.

Week 2
Florida State - Michigan - Clemson - Ohio State - Nebraska top 5
Stickney - Rodney's phone keeps ringing this week, as he tallies contacts by UNLV and Northern Illinois in addition to San Diego State and South Florida. He continues to play well, tossing 2 TDs in this week's game and adding almost 100 yards rushing. Will he find the right college to match his run-happy game?
Totals: 73-149 for 909, 7 TDs, 2 INT. 117-547-6 on the ground.
Stoyanavich - No further contacts for Orlando this week, he is still considering Temple's scholarship offer and waiting to hear back from Kentucky. He doesn't have a great game, just a few catches this week.
Totals: 33-698, 3 TDs.
Rolle - Bert has now been contacted by Eastern Michigan with a scholarship offer, which he is considering. EMU is trying to lock up the Michigan recruit before other schools can get their hooks into him! He has a solid game, adding 101 yards to his totals.
Totals: 147 for 867, 3 TDs. 17-232-4 receiving.
Griffith - Hardy Griffith gets an intriguing offer, play football for Navy! They write up a scholarship offer and he is already visiting the school. It seems like a good fit, very close and reasonably prestigious. Hardy adds another pick and several more tackles to his totals this week.
Totals: 43 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 12 interceptions
Dailey - Wally still hasn't heard anything from any schools, he's trying to be patient and play the best football he can. He has 4 tackles and an interception this week, combining his pass rushing skills with good hands for the ball should be a nice package.
Totals: 24 tackles, 7 sacks, 3 interceptions.

Week 3
Oklahoma - Ohio State - Florida - Texas - Clemson top 5
Stickney - Rodney gets a scholarship offer from UNLV, as well as from Southern Mississippi, he is considering both. UNLV seems a bit far to travel though, given his distance concerns. He has a nice game this week, throwing for close to 200 yards and adding another 100 yards on the ground.
Totals: 90-178 for 1087, 7 TDs, 2 INT. 137-648-6 rushing.
Stoyanavich - Orlando is still thinking over his offer from Temple, and has no further contacts this week. He has an impressive game this week, notching 185 yards and a touchdown.
Totals: 42-883, 4 TDs.
Rolle - Bert is still considering EMU's offer, though he is contacted by Brigham Young this week. On the field, he explodes for 200 yards rushing this week, going over the 1000 yard mark for the season. He adds two receiving scores for a truly impressive game!
Totals: 175 for 1064, 3 TDs. 22-273-6 receiving.
Griffith - Hardy is visiting Navy this week. The 24 mile trip to Annapolis can't be too hard for him! He wows the scouts with a two interception game this week and adds a sack as well.
Totals: 46 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 14 interceptions
Dailey - Wally finally gets contacted this week, by Army! Could we have two Joes attending military academies? He has an impressive 10 tackle game this week to show his stuff for the scouts.

Week 4
Oklahoma - LSU - Texas - Tennessee - Florida State top 5
Stickney - Rodney is still considering offers from Southern Miss and UNLV, he was also contacted by East Carolina this week. He had a terrible game this week, barely getting any passing yards but adding another 100 yards rushing. Is he a candidate to be converted to RB by his college?
Totals: 94-191, 1135 yards. 7 TDs, 2 INT. Rushing: 154-722-6
Stoyanavich - Orlando is still mulling over Temple's offer, whether he should take it or wait for another one. He was also contacted by Memphis this week. He had an unexceptional game this week, tacking on a few more catches and yards. One thing I have noticed about him is that he plays defense too, racking up 31 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 6 interceptions.
Totals: 45-947, 4 TDs
Rolle - No change, Bert is still considering Eastern Michigan's offer and waiting for the phone to ring. He has his second incredible game in a row, again going for around 200 yards, and adding 2 receiving scores. If only he could run into the end zone!
Totals: 204-1258, 4 TDs on the ground. 25-301, 8 TDs receiving.
Griffith - Hardy is still strongly considering Navy's offer, but also received a scholarship offer from Nevada this week. Of course given his distance concerns, Navy looks much more likely. He had another interception in this week's game.
Totals: 46 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 15 interceptions.
Dailey - Wally has heard no more contacts from anyone except Army. Honestly he's getting a bit frustrated at this point. He has a 1.5 sack game this week, at least his play hasn't suffered.

Week 5
Florida State - Oklahoma - LSU - Tennessee - Texas top 5
Stickney - Rodney is trying to focus on his playing and hasn't decided on Southern Miss and UNLV's offers yet. He is also contacted this week by Kansas. He doesn't throw for a lot of yards but does add a passing touchdown, he also has around 100 yards on the ground in his school's option system.
Totals: 100-205 for 1216, 8 TD, 4 INT. 178-839, 7 TDs rushing.
Stoyanavich - With no new contacts, it seems more and more likely that he will accept Temple's offer. He only has 60 receiving yards this week but with two touchdowns he's not complaining.
Totals: 48-1007-6
Rolle - Bert is contacted by Northern Illinois this week, but no further offers besides EMU's. He has a pretty good game, tacking on around 120 yards on the ground to his totals, as well as a receiving TD.
Totals: 228-1382, 4 TDs rushing. 30-346-9 receiving.
Griffith - Hardy is still thinking over his visit to Navy, and is considering Nevada's scholarship offer. In great news, he was named to Maryland's All-State team! His 10 tackles and interception this week didn't hurt his growing reputation.
Totals: 56 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 16 interceptions
Dailey - Wally received a call from Temple this week with a scholarship offer!. Could two of our Joes be playing for the same team? He had an average game this week.

Week 6
Oklahoma - Florida State - LSU - Tennessee - Nebraska top 5
South Carolina is making a strong charge and may break the top 5 next week if they continue to win.
Stickney - The calls keep coming in for Rodney. He now has a scholarship offer from Kansas in addition to Southern Miss and UNLV. He also received contacts from Vanderbilt and Miami of Ohio this week. His team has finished it's season.
Totals: 100-205 for 1216, 8 TD, 4 INT. 178-839, 7 TDs rushing.
Stoyanavich - No new contacts for Orlando, he may end up accepting Temple's offer by default. He has two touchdowns in this week's game and goes over the 1000 yard mark in his final game for the year.
Totals: 48-1007, 6 TDs.
Rolle - Bert gets several calls this week, including a scholarship offer from Indiana along with his EMU offer. He hears from Northern Illinois and Western Michigan as well. He puts up 124 yards rushing this week in his team's final game of the season.

Griffith - Hardy is still weighing Navy and Nevada. The former seems an obvious choice for him. His team is done for the year.

The big news this week was Texas going into Oklahoma and just dominating the Sooners 45-17, knocking them down to 9th. (If only it could happen in real life eh?) Florida has lost two straight games, this week to LSU.
Stickney - It's visiting time and Rodney is paying visits to Kansas, UNLV, and Southern Mississippi. No further stats since he is finished for the year.
Stoyanavich - Temple remains his only scholarship offer but he isn't visiting them yet.
Rolle - Bert is paying visits to Indiana and Eastern Michigan.
Griffith - Hardy is still visiting Navy, and now also Nevada.
Dailey - Wally is visiting Cincinnati and Temple this week.

Week 8
Florida State - USC - LSU - Texas - South Carolina top 5.
South Carolina finally cracks the top 5 after strong play all year. Florida State is definitely in the driver's seat at this point.
Stickney - We have our first commitment of the year! After his visits, Rodney Stickney commits to Kansas!
Stoyanavich - Orlando receives calls from Fresno State and Utah this week, but Temple is still his only offer. No decision yet.
Rolle - Arizona tended Bert a scholarship offer and he is now visiting them in addition to Indiana and EMU. Will the bigger school lure him away from home?
Griffith - No change here, he is still visiting Navy and Nevada. Hopefully he'll make up his mind soon!
Dailey - - Wally Dailey commits to Cincinnati!

Week 9
Florida State - USC - LSU - Texas - Nebraska top 5
No losses this week for any of the top teams, they are all still undefeated. Early favorite Oklahoma has lost another game and is down at 14th.
Stickney - Committed to Kansas
Stoyanavich - Orlando is still visiting only Temple but hasn't made up his mind yet.
Rolle - Bert is now visiting four schools - Arizona, Indiana, Eastern Michigan, and Southern Mississippi.
Griffith - Hardy is contacted by New Mexico this week but no other changes.

Week 10
Florida State - LSU - USC - Colorado - Texas top 5
Texas travelled to Colorado this week in the big game of the week, and lost 19-16, this huge win finally let Colorado crack the Top 5. LSU is making a strong bid for #1, and Florida State's lead is slipping a bit despite a shutout win this week.
Stickney - Committed to Kansas
Stoyanavich - Orlando finally commits to Temple this week. No surprise since they were the only school with an offer, though he waited quite a while.
Rolle - Despite all the offers from flashier schools, Bert decides to stick close to home and commits to Eastern Michigan!
Griffith - Hardy Griffith surprises everyone! Instead of choosing Navy which is next door to his house, he decides to go across the country and commits to Nevada! Definitely a big surprise here.
Dailey - Committed to Cincinnati
We have commitments from all our players now, through the end of the season I'll check in on the status of each of the schools our Joes have chosen.

Week 11
USC - LSU - Florida State - Tennessee - Ohio State top 5
Despite another shutout win this week, Florida State is toppled from the #1 spot. Ah, the vicissitudes of the BCS system. Tennessee moves up despite one loss, only the top 3 teams, as well as West Virginia at #10, remain undefeated.
Stickney - Rodney will be travelling to Kansas next year, a program which definitely needs a lot of help. They are 1-8 this season and have been demolished by their tough competitio, scoring 7 points or less their last 6 games. The good news for Stickney is that their starting QB is a senior and is leaving, but the bad news is that they have high potential Gus Poliska waiting in the wings. We'll see if Stickey can compete with him for the starting spot.
Stoyanavich - Orlando's future Temple program hasn't had a good year, they are 3-6 so far, and have had several ugly games against top competition. They did have a 56-53 loss to Connecticut, what a game that must have been! They use the Veer formation, and have a fairly weak WR contigent at the moment.
Rolle - Rolle's choice, Eastern Michigan, is the worst team in the MAC-South this year, with a 3-6 record. That includes a titanic 85-0 loss at Florida. They are running out of the Trips formation and can use some help at RB. Dwayne Muyers in their starter and has another year left but the rest of the group seems weak.
Griffith - Hardy's Nevada team is having a pretty good year so far, their overall record is 5-3 but they are 4-1 in the WAC, good for 2nd place so far. They have a solid defense particularly against the run. Their talent at safety definitely needs Hardy's help, their best man is Blake England who is rated 39/39.
Dailey - Wally will be going to Cincinnati, who is 5-4 this year, and 4-2 in the conference. They are not out of the C-USA title race, but will need wins against South Florida and Louisville to finish out the season, a tough proposition. They have starting DE Bobby Webb graduating this year, and their only other scholarship DE is very low prep, high potential Russell Craig. Dailey can find a fit here, I'm sure.

Week 12
LSU - Florida State - USC - Colorado - Tennessee top 5
Our top teams kept winning this week, with LSU shutting out conference foes Alabama and Colorado smacking down Kansas State who was trying to make a run for the top 5.
Kansas, Temple, Eastern Michigan lost again this week, with Nevada winning and Cincinnati did not play.
Week 13
Florida State - LSU - USC - Colorado - Tennessee top 5
The top 4 are still undefeated (missed Colorado on the undefeated list before) so there is little change besides FSU and LSU swapping places.
Kansas moves to 1-10 on the year with another loss, Eastern Michigan goes to 3-8, as does Temple. Nevada loses to go to 6-4, but Cincinnati dominates South Florida to go to 6-4 and stay in the C-USA title hunt.

Week 14
Florida State - LSU - USC - Tennessee - Nebraska top 5
Nebraska beats Colorado this week to give them their first loss and kick them off the top 5.
Nevada drops their final game to go to 6-5 on the year. Cincinnati loses as well to drop to 6-5. All our teams are done for the year.
Week 15
Florida State - LSU - USC - Nebraska - Miami top 5
Conference Championship week provides some excellent games, including Nebraska over Texas in a tight one, LSU demolishing top 10 team Tennessee, and Miami's 70-10 rout of Virginia Tech.
The bowl schedule is announced, with Florida State and LSU playing for the national championship. USC will have to settle for playing Miami in the Sugar Bowl. Nebraska goes against Tennessee in the Orange Bowl.
End of Season
Tennessee 33, Nebraska 12 - Go Vols!
USC 56, Miami 14 - I guess they wanted to prove they deserved a title shot after all.
It was a tough match, and went back and forth, but the final score of the national title game was Florida State 31, LSU 24. Congrats to the Seminoles!
The Heisman vote was close between USC's quarterback Mitchell Swift and Texas' Ronnie Maxwell, but Swift was given the honor.
271-421 for 4118 yards, 51 TDs and 9 INT. Impressive stats!
That's it for the 2004 season!

Definitely a disappointing scouting report. Right now Gus Poliska is the obvious starter for Kanasa, and Rodney is the second best guy. They only have 3 quarterbacks on the roster so they won't redshirt Rodney. He may see some minor backup action this year.
Orlando Stoyanavich, 6'2" 190 WR - Temple

With such a terrible scout, I'm not sure I can believe his scouting report. Orlando has been red-shirted for this season.

Another bad scouting report leaves questions. At least he's bulked up, adding 12 pounds in the offseason. Bert has been red-shirted for this year.

Some decent potential here. Hardy has added 20 pounds to his frame over the last year. He's been red-shirted for this year.
Wally Dailey, 6'2" 249 DE - Cincinnati
Scouted (Excellent) as Current 8, Future 66
Talk about upside! Probably the best of our Joes in terms of potential. He faces little competition at DE, but has been red-shirted this year to get him developed some more.
Everyone has been red-shirted this year but Stickney, who will likely see little play, so I'll forward through this year with less detail than I normally would.

2005 season
Okay, I fast forwarded to the end of the year and Stickney's total stats were 1 completion in 2 attempts for 18 yards. Do you want to hear this gone through week by week? I know I don't. Kansas finished a much-improved 4-7 this year, thanks to QB Gus Poliska's talents, though he was injured late in the season.
Temple finished out the year at 5-6.
Eastern Michigan went 6-5 this year, quite an improvement!
Nevada also finished 6-5.
Cincinnati finished 6-5 as well.
Top 10 before bowls:
Miami - Tennessee - Iowa - USC - Florida State - LSU - Kansas State - Oklahoma - Louisville - Boise State
Miami was the only undefeated team this year and was way out in front for the #1 rank. Unfortunately in the title game they were pummelled by Tennessee, 38-10! Tennessee is the national champion!

Rodney developed a little despite not playing last year. He'll be playing behind Gus Poliska again this year. He might get a little more playing time, but nothing substantial unless there's an injury.

A new scout has made all the difference here. Orlando is probably the 3rd or 4th best receiver at Temple this year, so hopefully he'll get some playing time.

An improved scout upgrades Bert's potential. EMU is deep in RBs this season so I'm not sure how much playing time he'll see, though. They have 7 RBs on the roster, none of them redshirted!

It looks like the last scout just got a terrible read on Griffith, he's looking like a really good player. He should certainly start at safety this year for Nevada.

Wally didn't develop much in his redshirt season, but is looking forward to playing this year. He will most likely start at DE this year.

Stickney - Kansas lost 42-17 to Memphis this week. No playing time for Rodney.
Stoyanavich - Temple didn't play this week.

Week 2
USC - Miami - Auburn - Colorado - Texas top 5
Stickney - Kansas lost to Wyoming this week, 21-3. No playing time for Rodney though.
Stoyanavich - Temple faced Louisiana Tech at home in their first game and routed them 34-3. Orlando got the start but only managed 1 catch for 13 yards in his first college game.
Rolle - Eastern Michigan lost to Arizona 31-6. Bert saw some spot play in this game, with 7 rushes for 30 yards. He also caught 2 passes for 18 yards.
Griffith - Nevada took on Kent State this week and beat them 37-7. Hardy started as expected and had 4 tackles and an assist.
Dailey - Cincinnati downed Troy State 45-21. Wally started his college career off with a bang, recording 2 tackles and 1.5 sacks as well as a blocked pass in the start.

Stoyanavich - Temple faced Navy this week on the road, and lost a close one, 24-20. Orlando's totals for this game were 3 catches for 59 yards, including a 32 yard reception.
Rolle - Eastern Michigan travelled to Stanford this week, but lost 27-10. Bert got his team's only touchdown with a three yard run! He seems to have settled into the backup role behind RB Schonberger, but had 9 carries for 18 yards this game.
Griffith - New Mexico routed Nevada this week, 34-7. Griffith added 2 tackles and an assist in a game that was over in the second quarter.
Dailey - Cincinnati played host to North Carolina this week, and it was a barn-burner, going through several overtimes for a final score of Cincy 48-42. Cincinnati's QB Brenden Richmond finished with 436 yards passing and 6 TDs, not bad for a day's work! Wally had a tackle, a sack, and a fumble recovery in the game to help his team win.
Week 4
USC - Miami - Auburn - Penn State - Florida State top 5
Impressive side note this week, Illinois beat San Jose State 97-0! Illinois' backup QB had possibly the most impressive stat line I've ever seen:
7-7 for 173 yards and 3 TDs. Wow!
Stickney - Kansas played host to Sol 8 team Sitka this week, downing them 31-28. Yet again Stickney never saw the field, watching impressive starting QB Gus Poliska do the work.
Stoyanavich - Temple travelled to Central Florida but suffered a 28-17 loss. Orlando really broke out this week, grabbing his first college touchdown pass on his way to a 5 catch, 112 yard performance.
Rolle - Ohio travelled to Ypsilanti this week to face EMU, who dominated them 48-10. Nice for EMU to be able to let out some frustration after their last two weeks. Schonberger did most of the running (3 TDs) but Bert managed 6 rushes for 38 yards, as well as 4 catches for 27 more.
Griffith - Nevada was off this week.

Stoyanavich - Temple faced a tough West Virginia team at home this week and took them to overtime before losing, 31-24. Orlando caught another touchdown pass this week, totalling 2 catches for 55 yards and the score.
Rolle - Eastern Michigan did not play this week.
Griffith - Nevada routed Fresno State 41-14 this week at home. Griffith was unexceptional with 2 tackles and an assist. He's getting the starts but hasn't had a real breakout game yet this year.
Dailey - Cincinnati travelled to TCU this week for a conference matchup, but lost 31-20. Wally Dailey had 2 tackles and 3 assists.
Week 6 (and mid-season update)
Florida State - Miami - Tennessee - Michigan - California top 5
Stickney - Kansas travelled to powerful Texas A&M and was bludgeoned 42-0. At least this game only comes once a year! Rodney was very disappointed to learn that he is considered the third string QB behind Poliska, and he doesn't play this week.
Rodney Stickney has not played yet this year, and is not likely to, barring injury. The best he can do is hone his skills and wait for Poliska to graduate or get hurt. Kansas is 1-3 so far this year, and they are facing a brutal Big 12 schedule coming up, facing three Top 10 teams in the next four weeks.
Stoyanavich - Temple travelled to USC this week, took their cash and left after a 51-3 beating. Ouch. Orlando had 2 catches for 14 yards and that was considered an offensive highlight this week.
Orlando Stoyanavich is having a reasonably successful season at Temple. He is their second best receiver in yardage, with yearly totals of 13 catches for 253 yards and 2 touchdowns. Temple is 1-4 and is struggling to get going so far this year, they have lost some close games. They have a very hard schedule coming up so it won't get much better.
Rolle - Eastern Michigan played host to hapless Sol 8 team Anchorage this week, and demolished them 49-3! Bert Rolle reached the endzone twice in the game, rushing 9 times for 27 yards and one score, and catching 6 passes for 61 yards and another score. He's proving himself to be a potent weapon as a receiver out of the backfield. He notches Player of the Week honors again this week.
Bert Rolle is EMU's backup running back this season, behind Joe Schonberger. Bert has been a dual threat this year, rushing for 113 yards in 31 attempts, with 2 touchdowns, and receiving 13 catches for 101 yards and another score. Eastern Michigan is 2-2 so far, and doesn't face any top teams outside their conference.
Griffith - Nevada's games have all been routs so far, one way or another. This week the Wolf Pack dismantles Tulsa at home, 52-10 behind the powerful running of Shane Crump. Hardy had a good week, with 5 tackles and an assist, as well as an interception he ran back for 50 yards.
Hardy Griffith is having a modest year with Nevada, so far he has 13 tackles, 4 assists, and one interception in 4 starts. Nevada is the most successful so far of all our teams, going 3-1 and facing weak competition most of the way. They are led by the powerful running of Shane Crump, and rank 25th in the country in rushing yards.
Dailey - South Florida came into Cincinnati and took down the Bearcats 42-35. Wally recorded a tackle, an assist, and half a sack in the game.
Wally Dailey is starting at DE for Cincinnati. He's had 6 tackles, 6 assists and 3 sacks in 4 starts, a reasonably successful year. The Bearcats are 2-2 so far despite good performances from QB Brenden Richmond.

Stickney - Nebraska hammers Kansas this week, 52-15. Rodney, as always, doesn't play.
Stoyanavich - Temple's rough part of the schedule kicks off with a visit to Notre Dame, who teach them some manners to the tune of 63-17. Temple limps back home licking their wounds. Orlando only catches one pass this week, for 7 yards.
Rolle - Eastern Michigan travels to rival Central Michigan this week and loses a heartbreaker, 15-12, to a last minute field goal. Bert grabs a TD pass from QB Peter Griffin (guess he hears a lot of Family Guy references!) Rolle's numbers are 7-36 rushing and 2-3 receiving.
Griffith - Nevada travels to Rice this week, and gets smacked down, 42-18. The Wolfpack can't have a close game this year, it seems. Hardy has his best game yet, with 7 tackles and an assist this week.
Dailey - South Florida travels to Cincinnati and edges them 42-35. Wally gets half a sack and a tackle in the game.
Week 8
Florida State - Utah - USC - Michigan - Tennessee top 5
Utah improves with an impressive win this week over Colorado State.
Stickney - Iowa State travels to Kansas this week and the Jayhawks give them all they can handle, but lose in the end, 31-28. Rodney continues to ride the pine.
Stoyanavich - Temple doesn't play this week.
Rolle - Eastern Michigan is definitely hurting this season. They travel to Marshall and get blanked, 41-0. Bert goes 4 for 10 yards on the ground and that's the best rushing performance they have.
Griffith - Nevada doesn't play this week.
Dailey - Cincinnati pounds hapless Army into the ground, 45-0. Dailey has a very nice game with 5 tackles and a sack, as well as recovering a fumble.
Week 9
Florida State - Auburn - Tennessee - USC - West Virginia top 5
Utah goes down to defeat and drops several slots. It's FSU in a walk right now, they and West Virginia are the only undefeated teams left.
Stickney - Wow! Oklahoma travels to Kansas and loses, 29-24! This is a huge win for Kansas against one of their quality conference opponents. Stickney gets a good view of the game from the bench.
Stoyanavich - Temple loses to Connecticut, 40-24. They are getting awfully used to taking beatings this season. Orlando catches 2 passes for 25 yards.
Rolle - Ball State comes to Ypsilanti and EMU hands them a loss, 28-21. Rolle has his best rushing performance of the season, with 13 carries for 71 yards, leading the team this week.
Griffith - The good news is that Nevada gets to go to Hawaii this year. The bad news is that they get shut out, 36-0. Hardy adds 2 tackles and 2 assists to his totals in a game that never got started for Nevada.
Dailey - Cincinnati gets their second win in a row, over Houston 35-14. Wally only has 2 tackles this week as he can't get through Houston's good QB protection.

Week 10
Florida State - Auburn - USC - Clemson - West Virginia top 5
Tennessee loses a critical game to LSU and drops out of the top 5, giving Clemson a chance to move up.
Stickney - Kansas travels to Colorado this week, and loses 31-10. Rodney makes notes in his clipboard about the game.
Stoyanavich - Another week, another Temple loss, this time 42-17 at home to Pitt. Temple's quarterbacks are completely ineffective this game, and Orlando has to settle for 2 catches for 13 yards, though one is for a touchdown.
Rolle - Eastern Michigan can't seem to catch a break against Northern Illinois this week, their 4th quarter comeback falls just short and they lose 40-37. The good news is that Bert reaches the endzone three times this week! He rushed 6 times for 27 yards and a score, and caught 3 passes for 15 yards and two more touchdowns. He definitely is becoming QB Griffin's go-to guy in the red zone.
Griffith - Nevada loses 26-10 to Boise State this week. Hardy records 3 tackles in the game.
Dailey - Cincinnati travelled to Tulane this week, and lost in OT, 44-38. A tough loss to swallow, certainly. Wally added 2 tackles, an assist, and half a sack this week.
Week 11
Florida State - Auburn - Tennessee - Pitt - Georgia top 5
Pittsburgh exploits some strong play to crack the top 5, Clemson is a close 6th right now.
Stickney - Kansas travels to Oklahoma State, and gives the Cowboys a game, but can't pull it out, losing 31-24. Once again, Rodney gets to study the game from the bench.
Stoyanavich - Boston College pounds Temple 30-13. Ugh, what a season for Temple. Orlando gets 3 catches for 36 yards.
Rolle - Western Michigan comes to town and beats EMU, 19-13. EMU's season has just spiraled out of control. Bert has a terrible game, getting only 5 yards on 9 rushes against WMU's stout rush defense. He adds a meager 3 yards on 2 catches.
Griffith - UTEP whips Nevada 45-28, JeeberD would be proud. Hardy puts up 6 tackles and an assist. He's been good enough tackling but the lack of interceptions is his biggest disappointment this season. Of course he's only a freshman.
Dailey - Southern Miss comes to Cincy, and the Bearcats easily handle them, 42-21. Dailey has 3 tackles in an unexceptional performance.

Glad you like it, I'm having a lot of fun with it. The only bad thing is it's very hard to predict which, if any players will have NFL success. The randomness with which TCY exports players to the NFL can create weird results, in my former dynasty the best by far of the college players didn't even appear in the NFL draft lists, and one of the weakest college players eked out a few years in the NFL and even won a Super Bowl ring. Such is life with the Average Joes. :)

Week 12
Florida State - Auburn - Tennessee - USC - Clemson top 5
Florida State is the only undefeated team and is way out in front. Auburn and Tennessee could switch spots between #2-3.
Stickney - It's rivalry time, as Kansas State travels to Kansas this year, and wins 14-7. Despite a terrible game by QB Poliska, Stickney never sees the field.
Stoyanavich - Temple travelled to Syracuse and actually won a game, 35-30 in the Carrier Dome! Orlando only had 2 catches for 25 yards, but one was for a touchdown.
Rolle - Eastern Michigan did not play this week.
Griffith - Nevada travelled to SMU this week and was beaten badly, 41-17. Hardy had 6 tackles and an assist in another solid game.
Dailey - UAB travelled to Cincinnati, who notched another win easily, 37-10. Wally Dailey had his best game of the season, getting to the quarterback three times and adding 3 tackles and an assist. This was good for Player of the Week honors.
Week 13

Stickney - Missouri comes to Kansas this week, and in a very slow, defensive minded game Kansas gets the win, 13-6. No playtime for Rodney of course!
Stoyanavich - Rutgers comes to Temple this week, and the Owls get a rare win, cruising 37-3 over the Scarlet Knights. Orlando has 6 catches for 67 yards, a nice performance.
Rolle - Bowling Green demolishes EMU, 48-0! Ouch. Rolle has a negligible game, 3 rushes for 6 yards, and 2 catches for 8 yards.
Griffith - Nevada manhandles San Jose State, 42-21, behind Shane Crump's running. Hardy had 4 tackles and 2 assists.
Dailey - Cincinnati travels to conference foe East Carolina, and cruises past them, 34-10. Unfortunately disaster struck Wally Dailey, as he broke his leg at the start of the game. It's a compound fracture, a serious injury, and his season is certainly over. Hopefully it won't impact his career!

Some last minute changes here, Tennessee loses to South Carolina, knocking them out. Oklahoma cracks the top 5 at 9-2, can anyone believe one of their losses came to Kansas?
Stickney - Kansas' season is already over.
Stoyanavich - Temple's season is already over.
Rolle - Eastern Michigan travels to Toledo, hoping to end their season on a win. Instead they get a terrible, sloppy game played in horrible weather conditions. The snow piled up beforehand and heavy snow continued through the game. The final score, Toledo 6, EMU 3. Ugh. Bert Rolle led the Eagles with 13 carries for 34 yards, and picked up 8 more yards on 4 receptions. Neither offense could get going this week.
Griffith - Nevada goes to UNLV for their rivalry game, and gets stomped 43-10. This year ended up a forgettable one for the Wolfpack. At least Hardy had an excellent game with 9 tackles and 3 assists.
Dailey - Miami of Ohio came to town and edged Cincy 27-24 on a late TD. Dailey did not play due to injury.
Week 15

The Heisman goes to Corey Schroeder, RB from California. He put up some very nice stats this year, 313 for 1770, and 21 TDs.
Year-End Report
Kansas finished 3-8 on the year, and 2-6 in the conference, but managed to stay out of the basement in the B12-North.
Temple finished 3-8, 2-4 in conference play, which put them right in the middle of the Big East.
Eastern Michigan finished 3-8 (2-6) and last in the MAC South.
Nevada was 4-7 overall and 3-5 in WAC play, finishing 5th in the WAC.
Cincinnati was 7-4 overall and 5-3 in conference, clearly the best team of our 5 this year. They finished 4th in C-USA.
Rodney Stickney - He did not play a down this season, sitting on the bench behind two other players. Very disappointing results so far for him, he's wasted two years of eligibility and has thrown 2 passes.
Orlando Stoyanavich - Played solidly but unspectacularly for Temple this season, of course they were very weak at QB which probably had a lot to do with it. He was Temple's second leading receiver behind graduating WR Alex Brown. His stats on the year were: 29 catches for 426 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Bert Rolle - He was a solid backup running back behind Jose Schonberger, who has one more year of eligibility. He got one start at the end of the year when Schonberger was injured. Showed good ability both running and catching the ball. His stats were:
Rushing - 86 carries for 302 yards and 3 TDs. Receiving - 28 catches for 140 yards and 4 TDs.
Hardy Griffith - Played well but was not flashy from his starting safety position. He was third on the team in tackles this season, and the team's best safety is graduating this year.
Stats: 50 tackles, 14 assists, 3 TFL. 1 interception, 8 passes defensed.
Wally Dailey - Played well, with flashes of greatness, as a DE starter all year. Was injured at the end of the season. Tied for the team lead in sacks.
Stats: 21 tackles, 8 assists, 8 TFL, 7.5 sacks, 6 hurries.

No real change from last year in his ratings, since he didn't play. The good news is that since he didn't play last year, it counted as his redshirt season so he didn't lose eligibility. Senior Gus Poliska is the obvious starter but Rodney should be the backup. Of course he should have been the backup last year but ended up third behind a guy rated 9/34.

Big change in ratings here, as Orlando has apparently filled out his potential and then some. Last year at this time he was 24/37. He's also added 7 pounds which is good to see. Orlando is by far the best WR on Temple's squad, and is a guaranteed starter. The rest of their receiving corps is one decent 32/32 guy and a bunch of scrubs. Temple has a nice freshman QB with a lot of potential, given their carousel of starting QBs last season (3 guys started at least 2 games) he may be the answer, but he is redshirted for this year.
Bert Rolle, 5'11" 221 lbs RB - Eastern Michigan

No major change in his ratings, his current went up by 1. He has added a few pounds which is always nice for a RB. Looking at EMU's squad, Jose Schonberger should still be the starter. However, they have a few other RBs who may give Rolle some competition for the backup spot. One of these is a true freshman and the other is coming off a redshirt year. Honestly he looks to be the 4th best RB on the team right now, so I'm not expecting major numbers from him this year, barring a surprise.

Hmm, this isn't a good sign. Last year he was scouted as 34/70, so he may have lost a lot of potential. But with steady play he may get some of it back. He has no competition at safety and will certainly start this year. Can he improve on last year's stats?

Hmm, good news and bad news here. His current ratings has boosted a little, and the future remains the same, so no major injury hit. He also has some competition now at DE, Zack Lofton is coming off his redshirt year and looks good, and there is an even better player redshirting this year. Wally is going to have to show something this year and hopefully develop a lot or he may get squeezed out.

Stoyanavich - Temple travels to Navy, a much easier opponent than last week's, and gets their first win of the season, 29-23. Orlando makes a big splash as he is being used on kickoff return duty this season, as he records a 108 yard kickoff return for a TD! He also catches a 36 yard touchdown pass.
Rolle - Eastern Michigan doesn't play this week.
Griffith - Nevada doesn't play this week.
Dailey - Cincinnati travels up to the frozen north of Barrow to face the Solecismic 8 school. The Bearcats come home with a 35-25 win under their belts. Wally Dailey doesn't get the start at DE, maybe because of his leg, but records 2 tackles and a sack.

We'll see how it turns out, in the past I've noticed that players who don't have high potential scores don't seem to get through the conversion process into the NFL draft very well. I'll post more soon, I've gotten distracted with another dynasty idea, *sigh*.

Mid year report (after week 7)

The first of our teams cracks the top 10!
Stickney - Rodney still has no playing time, and probably won't have much until next year when Poliska graduates. Will he have the chance to make a mark then? Kansas is 2-3 so far this year, and doesn't have as brutal a schedule ahead as last year, though they do have top 10 teams Texas and Nebraska on their plates later on.
Stoyanavich - Tragedy strikes! In the fourth game of the season against UTEP, Orlando is hit hard and goes out with a concussion. Now he's got Repetetive Concussion Syndome and is out for the season, and maybe part of next season as well! Too bad, he was set to have a nice season. His final stats for the year are 3 catches for 45 yards and a TD. Temple is 2-4 this year and is really struggling with their passing game.
Rolle - Bert's playing time has been sadly reduced, as I had expected. He is facing some tough competition at running back. So far he only has 5 carries for 8 yards, and can't expect much more, barring injury. Eastern Michigan is 1-4 this year and is struggling, they even lost at home to Sol 8 school Anchorage. Will they improve during their conference schedule?
Griffith - Hardy has stepped up his level of play from last season, and in 4 games has 24 tackles, 4 assists, and 2 interceptions, one of which was run back for a TD. He's definitely on pace to improve over last year's stats. Nevada is struggling and is 1-3 on the year.
Dailey - Wally isn't starting this year, but continues to play at a high level in a replacement role. Cincinnati is having a great season, and he is contributing. He has 9 tackles, 5 assists, and 6 sacks, playing in 6 games so far. He's leading the team in sacks and isn't even starting! Cincinnati is 6-0 and is ranked #10 in the nation currently. QB Brenden Richmond is having a great year and should come close to matching his last season stats when he was Conference USA's MVP.

2007 End of Year Report
Tennessee - Florida State - Virginia - Penn State - Michigan State - Nebraska - USC - Wisconsin - Texas - Pittsburgh top 10
Tennessee stays dominant and is the only undefeated team in the country. Virginia's strong play surprises everyone, as they rolled through a strong ACC this year and even gave Florida State their only loss. Many people felt they should have been ranked #2 this year.
Stickney - Well the good news is that Rodney actually played in one game this season, going 8 of 20 for 75 yards, one touchdown and 2 interceptions. Hopefully he'll have more chance to develop next year, but his scouting report isn't that impressive, he'll have to play beyond that. Kansas finished the year at 3-8, Poliska had a terrible year throwing the ball and finished with only 6 touchdowns and 18 picks.
Stoyanavich - Orlando missed most of the season with his injury and it isn't looking good for next year. His final stats for the year are 3 catches for 45 yards and a TD. Temple finished 3-8 on the year, and their defeat of Boston College in their final game was their high point.
Rolle - Bert played some third down back and was put in occasionally to give the top backs a breather, but that was about it. In the second half of the year he was hampered by a torn wrist tendon as well. His final stats were 18 carries for 69 yards and a touchdown this season, a far cry from last year's numbers. Receiving he was 6 catches for 34 yards. Eastern Michigan was 4-7 on the year, but at least they beat both Central and Western Michigan this season.
Griffith - Hardy was a solid if unspectacular starter this year for Nevada. His final stats were 52 tackles and 14 assists, as well as 4 interceptions. He led the team in interceptions and was 4th in tackles. Nevada finished 4-7, another mediocre year for the Wolf pack, though they did beat highly regarded UNLV in their rivalry game.
Dailey - Unfortunately Wally was never able to crack the starting lineup this year, though he played in every game. His final totals were 16 tackles and 7 assists, as well as 7 sacks and 7 TFL. In fact, his numbers were similar last season when he was a starter. Wow, what a season Cincinnati had! They finished 10-1 and #11 in the country, losing only an overtime squeaker to Louisville mid-season. Unfortunately that loss put them in second place to TCU for the Conference USA title. They were also beaten by Syracuse in their post-season bowl appearance.
Florida State downed Tennessee 37-27 for the national title. Virginia dominated Michigan State 48-13, creating quite the title controversy.
The Heisman Trophy went to a familiar face, Cincinnati QB Brenden Richmond! He finished up 292-483 for 3815 yards, with 33 TDs and 16 INT. He is proving the be quite the impressive pickup, as he was only the 53rd rated QB coming out of high school. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

2008 Season Start
Our Joes start their junior seasons, and there are major concerns with injury and playing time. Will any of them be able to improve their game enough to get a shot in the NFL?
Rodney Stickney, 6'3" 215 lbs QB - Kansas

Rodney has developed a bit since last season, but his potential doesn't seem all that high. His competition at QB for Kansas this year is walk-on Robert Cote, who is scouted as 14/77. I don't know how Kansas is getting top 60 QBs to walk on to their team, but I want their secret! I think Rodney will get the start, but I'm not sure.
Orlando Stoyanavich, 6'2" 206 WR - Temple

Orlando will not likely see the field this season. His Repetitive Concussion Syndrome has 20 more weeks to run. Very disappointing as he is clearly Temple's best WR. At least his injury hasn't effected his scouting report.

Bert has developed a bit over the last season, but he will need more playing time to reach his full potential. He is unlikely to get it this year, playing behind excellent freshman Gene Tatum (top 300 nationwide) as well as last year's backup and part time starter Bob Bernard. Unless there is an injury, I expect results like last year's.
Hardy Griffith, 6'1" 216 lbs S - Nevada

It's very disappointing that Wally is not developing at this point, he could be an excellent DE, but he needs more playing time. 2008 Mid Season Report (after Week 7)
Penn State - USC - Tulane - Ohio State - Michigan - Georgia Tech - Wisconsin - Texas - Michigan State - SMU top 10
Lots of new names here, it's been a very turbulent season so far with lots of major teams losing already. Last year's champion Florida State is 2-4 this season!
Stickney - Rodney was named the starter this season! Unfortunately he is playing like a first-year player. His stats in 5 games are 58-115 for 634 yards, with 4 touchdowns against 6 interceptions. He also has one rushing touchdown. However Kansas is 3-2 so far this season, mostly because of a stout defense.
Stoyanavich - Orlando has been injured and hasn't played this year. Temple is 3-2 so far this year.
Rolle - Bert is filling the same role he did last year, occasional backup and third down back. In 6 games he has a measly 13 carries for 11 yards, as well as 4 catches for 6 yards. At least he has time to focus on his studies, maintaining a 3.46 GPA. EMU is 2-4 this season, with senior QB Peter Griffin obviously struggling.
Griffith - Hardy seems to be playing at his same, consistent level. In 5 games he has 24 tackles, 11 assists, and an interception. Nevada is 3-2 this year and even gave top ten SMU a run for their money.
Dailey - Wally is filling his normal role, backup DE and spot player across the defensive line. In 5 games he has 7 tackles, 2 assists, and 3.5 sacks, proving that he is able to get to the quarterback efficiently, but that has never been in doubt. The play of starting DE Zack Lofton is inspirational to him, as Zack has 44 tackles and 8 sacks in the same 5 games. Cincinnati is 4-1 behind Heisman QB Richmond.

2008 End of Season Report
Penn State - Wisconsin - TCU - Cincinnati - Florida - Air Force - Texas - Texas A&M - Utah - Tulane top 10
Penn State romps to an 11-0 season and an unquestioned #1 spot, but the margin between 2 and 3 is razor thin. Cincinnati improves from last year's impressive season even though they lose one more game.
Stickney - Rodney starts for Kansas all year, playing mediocre football. He finishes at 120-230 for 1430 yards, with 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions, and adds 2 rushing touchdowns. However, he does lead Kansas to a 6-5 season thanks to a solid running game and a good defense. They finish third in the B12-North, their best performance yet!
Stoyanavich - Orlando doesn't play at all this year. Everyone's hoping he'll bounce back for his senior season. In his absence, Temple has their first good season in a while, finishing 7-4 and tops in the Big East! They lose a close one to Vanderbilt in the Gator Bowl.
Rolle - Bert plays in 11 games but only carries the ball 31 times for 53 yards, though he does have 20 catches for 117 more yards. Eastern Michigan finishes 6-5 and takes the middle spot in the MAC-South standings.
Griffith - Hardy seems to be trying to have identical stats each year he plays. His final totals for the year are 52 tackles, 17 assists, and 4 interceptions, though he does add a sack. For those who are paying attention, last year's totals were 52-14 and 4. Impressive consistency at least. Nevada finishes 7-4 and 4th in the WAC.
Dailey - Wally broke his wrist in mid-season and was out for most of the second half, his stats for the year remain at 7 tackles, 2 assists, and 3.5 sacks. Cincinnati finishes 9-2, 2nd in the C-USA once again, but is ranked #5 in the country. Unfortunately when they get beaten by Virginia Tech in their bowl game their ranking drops a bit.
All of our teams have winning records this year, impressive!
Wisconsin beats Penn State 49-35 to take the national title!
The Heisman goes to QB Jimmie Small of USC, though Cincinnati's Richmond is nominated again.

Wally has developed a little more but definitely needs playtime if he is to blossom. He is a backup this year behind two solid starters, however. Is he a potential NFL player? Maybe. He seems to play well and has a high potential rating, but who knows? He's probably the best shot of our 5.

2009 Mid-season Report (after week 7)

Both teams in last year's title game are looking good again this year.
Stickney - Rodney holds on to the starting spot this year, and has shown some improvement, though he's not great. In 6 games he is 76-129 for 935 yards, with 4 TDs and 6 INTs. He's added another 2 touchdowns on the ground. Kansas is an impressive 4-2 so far, and has beaten both Oklahoma and Nebraska this year!
Stoyanavich - Well Orlando has recovered from his injury and is starting again, unfortunately with a Temple offense that is MIA most of the time, he's not getting many passes to work with. In 6 games he has 8 catches for 110 yards. Temple has self-destructed this year and is 0-6, with impressive prospect QB Dana Hinchliffe doing nothing from the QB spot, and a running defense which is one of the worst in the country.
Rolle - Argh, Bert has sat on the bench all 5 games so far, and hasn't been given the ball yet. Eastern Michigan is 2-3 so far.
Griffith - He's out this year, on probation. Nevada has started out the year 0-4, so he's not missing anything.
Dailey - Wally is getting the spot backup play he's grown used to over the past two seasons. In 5 games he has 3 tackles, 4 assists, and half a sack. Cincinnati is 3-2, without QB Richmond they aren't as good a team, but are trying to get things done anyway.

Penn State is once again the solid #1 pick, though Texas and Stanford are the only undefeated teams.
Stickney - Rodney starts every game this year, and improves his play over last year, but won't be winning any awards. His totals are 131-247 for 1799 yards, with 9 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Kansas slipped to 5-6 on the year after dropping their last 3 games.
Stoyanavich - Playing catch with a horrible QB (Hinchliffe had a 41% completion percetage this year) and a terrible offense doesn't allow you to run up any stats. Orlando finishes with 16 catches for 188 yards and struggles with a knee injury in the second half. Temple finished 2-9, a season they'd like to forget.
Rolle - Bert sits on the bench all year and never runs the ball, he is frustrated but he aces his studies and is set to get a nice Geology job after college is over. Eastern Michigan finished 5-6 this year.
Griffith - Hardy is sitting out this year, trying to improve his grades. Nevada finished a miserable 3-8.
Dailey - Wally continues to play backup, playing in all 11 games this year but totalling only 10 tackles, 8 assists, and a sack. What a waste of potential! Cincinnati finished 6-5, a bit off from their last two glorious seasons, but no complaints.
Penn State overcame USC 34-31 to win the national title!
USC's Jimmie Small took the Heisman for the second year in a row, setting season records for completions, yardage, and TDs this year.

It's the end of college for all of our guys, as Hardy Griffith doesn't return to Nevada in 2010. It's fair to say that their careers were disappointing for the most part. Many of them played backup, or didn't have the chance to perform, due to injuries.
Rodney Stickney, QB - Kansas
Rodney was a two year starter at quarterback for Kansas. He played average football but didn't seem to have big-school talent. He finished with a 2.74 GPA.

Orlando Stoyanovich was listed for the draft, my scout ranked him 9/22. None of our other players made it to the draft, unfortunately. Orlando was not drafted and as far as I can tell, never signed with any NFL team. Unfortunately, there was no NFL future for any of our Average Joes.

One thing I've realized about this type of dynasty is that not only are the rankings of the players important, but also the talent pool of high schoolers that year, and that's very hard to tell. The 80th best player of a position in a good talent year will be a lot better than the 80th best in a bad year. I think that's what happened here. If you look at the career stats from my previous AJ dynasty you'll see that those players were a lot better, but from the rankings they seemed pretty similar.

I'm still looking over recruits, the problem seems to be that unless they are sufficiently good, they will almost never have a chance in the NFL given the way the TCY files convert into FOF.

I put together a bunch of new guys, and can tell before I even start that it's going to be the same thing, some of the guys are just not that good skill wise and others that are good are sitting behind 4 or 5 other good guys on teams. Heh, at this point I'm tempted to just make it a 5 Great Men dynasty, at least they'll get playing time!

I'm changing things around this year, since I don't want a repeat of last year. It's just not that interesting to run a dynasty where all the players are backups and have no shot at the NFL. So call me a cheater if you will, but what I did for this episode of the dynasty was confirm that all the players are in the appropriate NFL draft file. I don't know their abilities or whether they'll even be drafted or do anything, but at least they have a shot. Hopefully it will make for more interesting reading. They also all follow the Average Joes criteria of being in the bottom end of the top 100 positional rankings out of high school so watching them battle their way up should be fun.

2011 Season - Recruitment
Kirk George, 5'11" 170 lbs QB - Eisenhower H.S, Norristown, Pennsylvania
Kirk is the 75th ranked quarterback in this year's high school class. It seems to be a solid recruiting class so he should quickly receive some attention. He's reasonably smart and wants to major in Nursing. Our excellent scout puts him at 62/100 to start off, and though his on the field stats aren't amazing so far he definitely has talent. His main goal in a school is strong academics, and not too far away. So far this season he has in 5 games gone 63-141 for 991 yards, with 4 TDs and 2 interceptions. He's also added 285 yards rushing and 5 more scores on the ground.
Deon Meadows, 5'10" 173 lbs RB - Northshore H.S., Slidell, Louisiana
Deon is the 92nd ranked running back in the country this year but the best in Louisiana. He's a smart kid who wants to major in Differential Equations. Our decent scout ranks him at 63/100. Deon claims to not be happy with his home area and wants to get as far away as possible, but also wants a team with good prestige. In 5 games so far he has rushed 133 times for 659 yards and 6 TDs. He's also a solid receiver, catching 22 for 370 and 4 TDs.
Winston Wampus, 6'1" 173 lbs WR - Denison H.S., Denison Texas
Winston has a strange name but he can definitely play ball, and is the 90th ranked receiver in this recruiting class. Our pretty good scout estimates him at 55/100, though his school hasn't prepared him well athletically. He's not too bright and will struggle in school, and is interested in Geography. Winston's primary criteria in a school is prestige, it is very important to him, though he'd also like something close. In 5 games he has racked up 45 catches for 951 yards and 8 touchdowns.
Marc Banks, 6'1" 210 lbs ILB - Pembroke H.S., Corfu, New York
Marc is the 83rd best ILB in the country and the 9th best in NY. Our decent scout rates him 56/100 at the moment, though he wasn't impressed with his poor attitude. Marc has struggled in school and has expressed an interest in Marketing. Marc wants to improve himself and values academics in a school, preferably one close to home. So far in 5 games he has 44 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
Artie Foreman, 6'0" 182 lbs CB - Hamilton HS, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Artie is judged the 97th best cornerback in the country, though he is the 2nd best in Wisconsin. Our scout in his area is pretty lousy, but rates him 68/100 overall. Artie is hurting academically, as his 2.08 GPA is low and his 720 test score puts him on the border for academically failing. His main concern at this point is to sign to a big name school so he can impress his friends, and that school is Wisconsin, which he idolizes. In 5 games this season he has 27 tackles, 3 sacks, and 4 interceptions.

Meadows Deon's contact list is getting quite long, with Hawaii and Oregon State being added this week, but the teams seem reluctant to pull the trigger on offers, and Deon can't be too happy with LA-Monroe since he wants to get far away from home. He finished on the year with 240 rushes for 1190 yards and 10 TDs.

2012 Season Start
I'm expecting everyone to redshirt this year but this will be an update on their college status:
Kirk George, 5'11" 171 lbs QB - Minnesota
Kirk shows a lot of potential, especially for a walk-on. Minnesota is delighted to get him, and slap the redshirt tag on immediately. Our good scout puts him at 7/87 right now, so he's got a long way to fill out his potential. Minnesota's solid starting QB and backup are seniors and the way it looks now Kirk can move right into the starting job if he's lucky. Minnesota finished 6-5 last year and 5th in the Big 10.
Deon Meadows, 5'10" 179 lbs RB - Louisiana-Monroe
Deon is redshirted immediately by the Indians. Our scout in the area is only decent, but rates him at 32/67 right now. There are a few other good RBs on the squad but most of them will graduate soon, if Deon improves in his redshirt year he will have a chance to start next season. LA-Monroe is running out of the Flexbone so there should be plenty of running chances for everyone. The Indians went 7-4 last year and finished second in the Sun Belt.
Winston Wampus, 6'1" 190 lbs WR - Rice
Winston is redshirted this year, like the others. He doesn't seem to have the upside of the others at first glance, scouted (pretty good) at 22-49, but Rice has two good young QBs and a decent squad of WRs so if Winston improves he should have a chance. Rice is running out of the Power-I and finished 5-6 last year, 6th in the WAC.
Marc Banks, 6'1" 227 lbs ILB - LSU
Marc is pretty surprised to be on scholarship at LSU, to be honest. They have gone 8-4 and made bowl appearances the last two years. Marc is redshirted this year, unfortunately our scout in his area is terrible with linebackers, so you can't really trust what he says, which is that Marc is 0/36. I think he's really a good bit better than that. LSU has a pretty solid ILB squad so Marc will be hard pressed to get starting time anytime soon.
Artie Foreman, 6'0" 202 lbs CB - Georgia
Two of our guys landing at bigtime SEC schools was something I didn't expect. Our scout in Artie's area is only fair, but he rates him 19/81 and I think everyone agrees he has a lot of potential. Georgia has a mixed bag at CB, with Artie and another good prospect redshirting, and their best player graduating. There will always be a lot of pressure for playing time here. Georgia is not the team it once was, unfortunately, 4-7 last year and has been sinking recently, the last time they had a winning season was 2007.

2013 Season Start

Kirk George, 5'11" 179 lbs QB - Minnesota
I don't know if Kirk was overscouted before or just had trouble adapting to the college game, but in either case our very good scout is now just marking him as 12/55. He's playing behind Aaron Moniz and Warren O'Neal and can probably expect to ride the bench this year. It's a tough life as a walk-on. Minnesota finished 3-8 last year and barely stayed out of the Big 10 basement.
Deon Meadows, 5'10" 187 lbs RB - Louisiana-Monroe
Deon had a good redshirt year and is primed to play for the Indians this year. Our decent scout puts him at 30/67 for this season. Last year's starting RB is out for half the season with a leg fracture so Deon will probably start, though prospect Marvin Cochrane was signed and is redshirting this year, to put pressure on him. The team slumped terribly last year with an incapable offense, and finished 2-9. They are hoping to improve on that this year.
Winston Wampus, 6'1" 197 lbs WR - Rice
Rice had a decent year last year, going 6-5. Winston developed a lot over his redshirt year and is now scouted 33-49. He also has a good shot at some playing time this year. Rice only has 5 receivers on their roster, and their second best is suspended for the year.
Marc Banks, 6'1" 236 lbs ILB - LSU
Marc didn't develop much over the last season and our scout still rates him 0/36, but he is a terrible scout. LSU finished 5-6 last year and is hoping to bounce back this season. Marc is unlikely to play much this year as there are several good players ahead of him.
Artie Foreman, 6'0" 207 lbs CB - Georgia
Georgia finished a miserable 4-7 last year and fired their head coach of two years. They are really struggling over the past 5-6 seasons. Artie is looking good this year and is scouted 26/81, I think he has a very good chance to start at CB and should see plenty of playing time either way, his main competition is 23/81 Ted Huffman.

2013 mid-season report
George Kirk is playing third string, as expected, and doesn't see the field much. He manages 2-3 for a mighty 12 yards, playing in one game. Minnesota is 1-5 on the year, ouch.
Meadows Things looked very good for Deon, he started the first 4 games of the year in replacement of an injured starter, but near the start of the 4th game he himself broke his tibia and will likely be out the rest of the year. His stats were not that impressive however, 29 carries for 128 yards, as well as 8 catches for 38 more. LA-Monroe is struggling though, and is 1-4 so far.
Wampus Winston is sitting on the bench this year, he hasn't caught a ball yet. Rice is 2-3 on the year.
Banks With our terrible scout looking at Marc, it was hard to tell whether he'd play or not. Apparently LSU thinks he should start, as he has in 4 out of 6 games he's played in. His amount of plays is low, though, and he has 5 tackles, 1 assist, and 1 TFL so far. LSU is 3-3 on the season so far.
Foreman Artie is also getting the chance to start for Georgia, in 4 games he has 8 tackles, 5 assists, and an interception run back for a TD. Georgia has started the season in excellent form, going 3-1 so far.

2013 Season End
Notre Dame - Penn State - Wisconsin - USC - Texas - California - Northern Illinois - Pittsburgh - TCU - Washington, final top 10
The Irish were unbeatable this year, going 12-0 and were the #1 ranked team by a large margin. They defeated Texas in the championship game to win the title. Irish QB Preston King took home the Heisman as well.
George Kirk played in all of 3 games this year and finished with 5-25 for 78 yards. Not the season he'd hoped for, even as a backup! Minnesota finished 2-9 and looked terrible for much of the year.
Meadows Deon's injury took most of his season away, though he did manage to play in the last game of the year. His total stats were 34 carries for 135 yards; and 9 catches for 45 yards. LA-Monroe's offense has been quite anemic this year, a big part of their 3-8 finish.
Wampus Winston sat on the bench at Rice and didn't catch a pass. Rice had a 7-4 year without him and finished 4th in the WAC.
Banks Marc would have liked to see more playing time, as he seemed to be platooning at ILB, but he had 8 starts and played in all 10 games, recording 16 tackles, 9 assists, and 1 TFL. LSU managed a 5-6 season, good for 4th in the SEC-South.
Foreman Artie was our only player to start every game for his team, in 11 games he had 26 tackles, 6 assists, 1 TFL, and one interception. He was fairly happy with his year but would like to get more involved in the passing game. Georgia finished 5-6 this year and finished 5th in the SEC-North.

2014 Season Start
Our players begin their sophomore year, all of them looking to improve on last season.
Kirk George, 5'11" 187 lbs QB - Minnesota
Kirk didn't play much last year, so he didn't improve much...err at all. He is still rated 12/55 by our Pretty Good scout. He's unlikely to see any playing time this year as he is sitting behind talented senior Aaron Moniz and decent prospect Jerry Sanderson. If he gets some playing time though he should pass Sanderson who doesn't have much upside.
Deon Meadows, 5'11" 195 lbs RB - Louisiana-Monroe
Deon has improved nicely, and is now scouted 40/66 by our Fair scout. He looks better than any other RB his team has, though freshman Marvin Cochrane will pressure him.
Winston Wampus, 6'1" 204 lbs WR - Rice
Despite Winston's lack of playing time last year he is improving, he is currently rated 46/49 by our pretty good scout. Rice is thin at WR this season so he should definitely get a starting job, and he'll have talented QB Jake Booker throwing to him.Could be a good season!
Marc Banks, 6'1" 245 lbs ILB - LSU
Marc is bulking up into good LB size, though our scout in the area is still terrible and still rates him 0/36. Surely that can't be right, though. I wouldn't have predicted he'd start much last year, so I'm not sure what will happen this year. Star SLB Richard Sutton will continue to handle much of the ILB tackling duties, though.
Artie Foreman, 6'0" 210 lbs CB - Georgia
Artie has developed well over the last season, and our decent scout ranks him as 47/81. He should retain his starting CB job.

2014 Mid-season Report

George Well I guess I was wrong! For some reason (I really couldn't tell you) Kirk is named as the starter for Minnesota this year! He has played fairly well so far, throwing 66-125 for 986 yards, with 4 touchdowns and 3 interceptions, in 6 starts. No one seems more surprised to be starting than him! Minnesota is 2-4 under his guidance, though currently 2-1 in the Big Ten!
Meadows Deon is getting plenty of playing time so far, since LA-Monroe's flexbone means multiple starting backs. In 5 starts he has rushed 96 times for 381 yards and 2 TDs. His team has gotten out to a 3-2 start.
Wampus Winston started as expected this year, and though he has battled a bruised ribcage, in 5 games he has 26 catches for 445 yards and 4 TDs, not bad at all. Rice is a miserable 0-5 to start the season, though.
Banks Marc started the season as the starter at WLB, though a severe wrist sprain has kept him sidelined for all but the first 2 games. He has 4 tackles and 1 assist, and the injury should heal in a couple more weeks. LSU is 1-4 this season, in a SEC-South that is just terrible aside from Ole Miss.
Foreman Artie is starting again, and in 5 games has 8 tackles, 5 assists, and an interception. He's improved a lot at pass cover and has allowed only 3 catches so far. Georgia is remaining consistent at 1-4.

2014 Season End
Pittsburgh - Notre Dame - Washington - Tennessee - Wisconsin - Central Florida - Texas - SMU - Northern Illinois - Stanford top 10
Pittsburgh had a great run this year to go 12-0, their program has really been building into something impressive in the last several years. They waltzed past Washington in the title game, and Notre Dame edged Texas in the Sugar Bowl. Notre Dame had the Heisman winner for the second year in a row with WR Hunter Ivey who had 1780 yards and 20 TD catches on the year.
George Kirk had a solid season in his first as a starter, in 11 games he threw 117-229 for 1557 yards, with 8 touchdowns against 6 interceptions. He also added another touchdown on the ground.
Meadows Deon had a good year and led the team in rushing, though in a two RB attack his numbers weren't huge - 132 rushes for 592 yards and 3 TDs. He added 8 catches for 76 yards as well. LA-Monroe finished 6-5 this year.
Wampus Rice finished 1-10 this year but at least Winston was one of their bright spots, he played well all year and finished with 43 catches for 792 yards receiving, and 4 touchdowns. QB Booker struggled (throwing 23 interceptions) which limited what Winston could do this year. It was enough, though, as Winston was named WAC 2nd Team WR!
Banks Marc started at ILB in 8 games this season, missing some to a shoulder injury. He had 27 tackles and 11 assists on the year. It didn't help him that star ILB Richard Sutton had an amazing 164 tackles this year, earning top defensive player in the country honors! LSU finished 1-10 so there was plenty of tackling to do.
Foreman Artie started all year at CB, and had numbers consistent with last year, 27 tackles, 13 assists, 3 TFL, and 1 interception. Georgia continued its slide, finishing 3-8 on the year.

2015 Season Start

Kirk George, 5'11" 196 lbs QB - Minnesota
Playing time was the best thing for George in developing this year, our very good scout puts him at 39/55, from 12/55 at the start of last year. He will probably start again this year, though challenged by Aaron Moniz.
Deon Meadows, 5'10" 202 lbs RB - Louisiana-Monroe
Our scout for Deon this year is only poor, but rates him 68/68. Either way I think it's fair to say he's developed to near his full potential. He should continue to start and play consistently well, though a change in offense would help his numbers a lot.
Winston Wampus, 6'1" 207 lbs WR - Rice
Winston looked pretty good last year and should continue to improve, as he has developed completely. Our fair scout places him at 52/52 this season, and though there are higher potential receivers on the Rice squad, none are better right now.
Marc Banks, 6'1" 254 lbs ILB - LSU
The good news is we have a new scout in the area and he is very good. The bad news is that Marc is still scouted as only 2/50. I don't know how this can be since he's been primarily starting for two years. Maybe Marc is just hard to get an impression on. Will he start again? Who knows?
Artie Foreman, 6'0" 211 lbs CB - Georgia
Artie is definitely improving nicely after two years of steady starting. Our decent scout puts him at 55/81 this season. He will probably start again.
2015 Mid-Season report
Notre Dame - Washington - North Texas - Florida State - Texas - Stanford - Auburn - Central Florida - Vanderbilt - Tulane top 10
George Kirk has had trouble with his accuracy this year, ending up in 7 interceptions and a low accuracy percentage. In 6 games so far he's thrown 64-131 for 795 yards and 3 touchdowns. Minnesota is 0-6 in those games. Kirk's best game was against Michigan State, where he threw for 266 yards and a touchdown in a game where Minnesota got clubbed, 49-23.
Meadows Deon is really showing some talent this year, with 74 carries for 400 yards and 2 touchdowns, in 5 games. He's also tacked on 9 catches for 84 yards. LA-Monroe is 3-2 so far this year.
Wampus QB Jake Booker is playing better for Rice this year, and Winston is seeing the results. Through 4 games he has 17 catches for 364 yards and 2 touchdowns. Rice is a decent 2-2 so far this year.
Banks LSU has struggled so far at 2-4 but that's already one more win than they managed last year! Marc has been downgraded to backup and part-time starter this year, unfortunately. In 6 games and 2 starts he has only 7 tackles and 5 assists, with 3 TFL. Is he just not getting the playing time, or is he really not that good, as the scouts seem to think?
Foreman Artie has started all 5 games for the Bulldogs so far this year, recording 8 tackles, 5 assists, and an interception. On the good side he's only let receivers catch 5 passes so far. Georgia is 2-3 on the year.
2015 End Season Report
Notre Dame - Central Florida - Texas - Washington - North Texas - Stanford - Miami of Ohio - Maryland - Tulane top 10
All 3 top teams are undefeated which means a title controversy seems likely. Notre Dame is matched against Washington in the main even and routs them 41-10! Texas and Central Florida both win as well, leading to 3 undefeated teams at year's end, but Notre Dame is given the title. The Irish have built a juggernaut of a program, they have gone to a bowl all but one year and are 11-0 in them, and now have 2 titles in 3 years. They add another Notre Dame player's name to the Heisman trophy, an amazing story as Clay Reese is their true freshman QB who put up incredible numbers, 301-500 for 4113 yards, 41 TDs and 16 INT.
George Minnesota is consistent, at least, with another 1-10 finish this year. Kirk doesn't have a good year, his accuracy problems continuing through the year. He finishes 11 starts with 121 for 258 for 1571 yards, with 9 TDs but 13 interceptions. He may be a walk-on, but Ardent leads the Vols he's not!
Meadows Deon is able to start all 11 games and is really taking over most of his teams running duties. He finishes just shy of 1000 yards, with 178 carries for 924 yards and 4 touchdowns. Receiving he adds 19 catches for 184 more yards. His team plays well though, and finishes 7-4 this year,
Wampus Winston helped an improved Rice squad finish 5-6 this year. He had 47 catches for 931 yards and 5 touchdowns, which led to him being named WAC 1st Team WR! So far he seems the most impressive of our Joes.
Banks LSU improves to 4-7 this year from last year's dismal campaign. ILB Sutton records his second consecutive National Defensive Player of the Year season, and is drawing plenty of NFL attention, maybe some will spill over to Marc. Marc is mostly a non-entity this year, with 3 starts and playing in every game, he records only 13 tackles and 7 assists. His coaches think he's just overshadowed by Sutton's sideline to sideline dominance, we'll find out next year!
Foreman Artie continues to develop into a solid cover corner, he finishes the year with 22 tackles, 12 assists, 3 interceptions, and lets only 15 passes be caught. Georgia finishes 5-6 this season.

2016 Season Start

Kirk George, 5'11" 199 lbs QB - Minnesota
Our very good scout has Kirk pegged at 51/55, but he hasn't played all that well the past two seasons, though he hasn't had much to work with. He should start again this year and if he can shake his accuracy bug, maybe can impress a few scouts with his physical tools.
Deon Meadows, 5'10" 205 lbs RB - Louisiana-Monroe
Our scout in Deon's area is still poor, but it's hard to argue with an 80/80 scouting report. Meadows has already attracted some NFL attention despite playing for a relatively obscure school, and his speed and consistency seem like a good fit for an NFL prospect. He'll need a good year this year to seal the deal though.
Winston Wampus, 6'1" 208 lbs WR - Rice
Winston has impressed the last two seasons, and scouts are definitely taking a look at him. He has good hands and a good downfield move. Our good scout rates him 53/53 this year, and he's hoping to have his best season yet.
Marc Banks, 6'1" 262 lbs ILB - LSU
Marc has the size for his position, but does he have the talent? Our scout in his area is terrific, but still only rates him at 9/50. Is he a late bloomer or a will he wither in the bud? At least he won't have Richard Sutton looming over him this year. We'll see whether he starts or not.
Artie Foreman, 6'0" 211 lbs CB - Georgia
Our decent scout puts Artie at 53/80, he definitely has an upside that hasn't developed in college, and scouts are watching him as a draft prospect. Georgia has several talented corners this year but Artie should still start.
2016 Mid-season report

George Kirk George seems to have put it together this year so far, in 6 games he's 69-120 for 898 yards, with 5 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. He doesn't show impressive athletic ability but he can adequately support a conservative offense. Minnesota is 2-4 on the season, but are going into their brutal conference schedule.
Meadows Louisiana-Monroe is 4-1 so far this year and a big part is Deon Meadows, who's rushed 88 times for 411 yards and 3 touchdowns. He's added 15 catches for 128 more yards, too.
Wampus Winston Wampus is ahead of last year's midseason, with 26 catches for 421 yards and a touchdown. Rice is 2-3, including a nice win over Fresno State.
Banks Marc Banks has played in 6 games and started 4, and has looked his best this year, recording 26 tackles and 4 assists. His tackles total has already almost exceeded his best year so far! LSU is 2-4, including 2 very close losses, and there is a feeling of a bit more hop for the team this year.
Foreman Artie Foreman has started all 5 games and has recorded 14 tackles and 8 assists, as well as an interception. Georgia is 2-3 with both of their wins over very weak teams.

2016 Year End report and summary
Notre Dame - Texas - Auburn - Texas A&M - Central Florida -Air Force - Stanford - USC - North Texas - Tennessee top 10
Notre Dame and Texas both end up undefeated, with the Irish demolishing an outmatched North Texas squad in the Solecismic Bowl and Texas playing well for a win over USC in the Sugar. Notre Dame goes back-to-back titles and 3 in 4 years, coach Vinny Arnold has put together a true powerhouse here. At least the Irish don't take home a 4th straight Heisman, as USC QB Luther Ramirez gets that honor.
Kirk George Well, Minnesota went 2-9 this year, improvement at least. Kirk George looked good overall and showed flashes of great play this season, finishing 136-229 for 1839 yards and 12 touchdowns, against 9 interceptions. His career stats:

Honestly I can't see Kirk George as much of an NFL prospect, he hasn't showed much in the way of great play, and doesn't have good height for a QB.

Banks Apparently his coaches were right! Without Sutton to dominate the middle of the field, Marc Banks had a very good year, recording 60 tackles, 15 assists, 2.5 sacks, an interception, and 12 TFL. This is the kind of performance we've been waiting for! LSU finished with another miserable 3-8 season. His career stats:

Marc definitely showed a lot of talent this season, but his mixed scouting reports makes me wonder if he'll be able to make a dent in the NFL.
Foreman Artie Foreman had another consistent year, he plays well but hasn't shown tremendous development through his college years. He had 22 tackles, 15 assists, and an interception on the year, and let 15 passes through. Georgia finished 4-7 on the season. His career passing game stats:

I think Foreman has the potential to be an NFL player, he may just not have shown it in college, but if can impress at the combine he can make an NFL roster I think.

2016 NFL Draft
The time has arrived, to see what will happen to the Joes we have been following for 5 seasons. Will any of them make it big in the NFL? Will any of them even be drafted?
Kirk George, 5'11" 200 lbs QB - Minnesota
Kirk wasn't expected to make an impression and he didn't. Scouted at 8/22, he's way, way down in the QB list and definitely won't be drafted. He showed the combine a 4.74 dash, 28 test, and 7.88 agility drill.
Deon Meadows, 5'10" 205 lbs RB - Louisiana -Monroe
Deon has really impressed the scouts, he had a great combine and his stock has kept rising. He's scouted at 35/58 and is rated as the 4th best RB in the draft (admittedly, a weak RB class this year.) He had a 4.6 dash, 19 bench reps, 28 test and 7.22 agility drill. He's a possible first round pick but more likely second, depending on how many teams have needs at RB.
Winston Wampus, 6'1" 208 lbs WR - Rice
Winston showed his speed at the combine and looks to have some upside. He is scouted at 18/58 and is the 15th best WR available. He had a 4.51 dash, 15 test and 7.34 agility drill. He will get drafted, but it will be in the mid-later rounds.
Marc Banks, 6'1" 269 lbs ILB - LSU
Marc's talent was enough to get him on the draft list but he's not sure to be drafted. He's scouted as 14/39, and is around the 20th best at his position. He has a 4.91 dash, 22 bench reps, 25 test, and 7.71 agility drill. Will he get picked up? Probably not, but he might be able to land a backup spot somewhere, maybe.
Artie Foreman, 6'0" 211 lbs CB - Georgia
Artie is not rated highly by the scouts, only 11/31, which puts him very far down the list of corners available. He had a 4.53 dash, 15 test, and 7.40 agility drill. He will not be drafted and is unlikely to be signed by anyone.

2016 Season Start
Kirk George Kirk is an unsigned free agent.
Deon Meadows Deon signed a 3 year, $5.38 million contract with Seattle. He is scouted 36/54 after training camp, and will compete with Gilbert Flint for playing time. Flint was acquired in free agency from the Eagles and started for them the last two years. Seattle finished 7-9 last year.
Winston Wampus Winston signed a 4 year, $3.77 million deal with Atlanta. He is scouted 19/50 after training camp and will be a backup receiver for the Falcons. He has a lot of potential and his best areas are avoiding drops and courage, though he is consistent across the board. Atlanta has QB Chester Webb throwing the ball, one of the better rated QBs in the league. The Falcons finished 9-7 last year.
Marc Banks Marc is picked up by the San Francisco 49ers and signed to a one-year minimum salary contract. He is scouted 15/37 after training camp and is currently inactive, he'll be lucky to last the year without being cut.
Artie Foreman Artie is picked up by the Green Bay Packers and signed to a one-year minimum salary contract. He is scouted 12/30 after training camp and seems unlikely to last the season.

2016 Regular Season
Kirk George Kirk went unsigned this season.
Deon Meadows, RB - Seahawks Deon was third string RB for the Seahawks this year, behind RBs Flint and Barton. He had 59 carries for 189 yards and one touchdown on the year, catching 3 passes for 22 more yards. Seattle finished 9-6-1 which was good enough to win their division. They lost to Detroit in the NFC championship, and Detroit went on to claim the Super Bowl over San Diego.
Winston Wampus, WR - Falcons Winston played at SE for the Falcons this year in backup duty, catching 22 passes for 327 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Falcons lost QB Webb to a knee sprain for most of the year and had to fall back to a QB picked up off waivers. Atlanta's main receiver is "The Outdoorsman" Hunter Fisher who caught 83 for 1259- 11 this season. Atlanta finished 8-8 this year.
Marc Banks, WLB - Seahawks Marc was cut from the 49ers before he even got to play, and ended up a free agent for most of the year, before ending up at Seattle for the last few games of the year as a reserve. He recorded 1 tackle and 1 assist this year.
Artie Foreman, CB - Packers Artie played a minor backup role for the Packers this year, playing in 15 games and recording 11 tackles and 7 assists.

2017 Season Start

Deon Meadows, RB - Seahawks Deon is scouted 36/51 after training camp this year, and will probably be third string again this year.
Winston Wampus, WR - Falcons Winston is scouted 21/43, and will likely play the same role he did last year, backup split end. The Falcons' WR corps is pretty thin after Fisher so an injury could get him a lot more passes.
Marc Banks Marc was released by the Seahawks in the offseason and is an unsigned free agent.
Artie Foreman Artie was released by the Packers in the offseason and is an unsigned free agent.

2017 Regular Season
Houston wins the Super Bowl 27-10 over Dallas. The MVP award goes to the Titans' RB Michael Browne, who has 1200 yards rushing and 500 more receiving. This is Browne's second MVP award in a row!
Deon Meadows, RB - Seattle Deon was a ghost on the roster this year, getting all of 1 carry for 2 yards, though it was for a touchdown. His main value was as a kick and punt return man. Seattle finished 11-5 and won their division, but were ambushed by New Orleans in the playoffs.
Winston Wampus, WR - Atlanta Winston had a similar year to last, getting 22 catches for 307 yards. Hunter Fisher was dominant this year with almost 1300 yards receiving. With QB Webb healthy all year, Atlanta finished 11-5 and won the NFC South, but lost to Dallas in the playoffs.
Marc Banks Marc remained an unsigned free agent all season.

2018 Season Start
Deon Meadows, RB - Seattle Deon is scouted 38/49 to start the season. Seattle got rid of RB Flint so there's only Barton ahead of him on the roster, so he may get some more playing time as a rusher.
Winston Wampus Winston was released by Atlanta in the offseason. He is scouted 23/40 to start the year.
Marc Banks Marc retired in the offseason.

2018 Regular Season
Tampa Bay defeated Indianapolis 20-17 to win the Super Bowl. QB Jeremy Ferraro of Dallas was the MVP, he has been very sharp since he was drafted by the Cowboys 7 years ago.
Deon Meadows, RB - Seattle Deon was the primary backup RB this season, in addition to being an occasional return man. He rushed 95 times for 383 yards and a touchdown Seattle finished 7-9 on the year and didn't make the playoffs.
Winston Wampus Winston remained a free agent all year and was unsigned, to his surprise. He retired at the end of the season.

2019 Season
Only four NFL seasons and already we are down to one active player. Will Deon be able to develop enough to ever get a starting job?
Deon Meadows, RB - Seattle Deon re-signed with Seattle for a 2 year, $1.83 million contract. He got a few more carries this season in his backup role, with 110 rushes for 425 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was a fulltime punt returner as well. Seattle sunk to 5-11 this year.
2020 Season
Deon Meadows, RB - Tampa Bay Deon was released by Seattle in the offseason and had not signed at the start of the year. He signed on with Tampa Bay on a one year, $1.03 million contract near the end of the season but he only played in one game and didn't even record any stats. Not bad work for a million bucks though! He was scouted 41/45 this season.
2021 Season
Deon Meadows, RB - Atlanta Deon was released by Tampa Bay but was signed by Atlanta on a one year, $1.07 million deal. I think it will be his lot in life to float around the league as a backup RB, with one million deals every year. He never played for Atlanta, was released, then signed on with Chicago under similar terms and managed 3 rushes for 5 yards.
2022 Season
Deon Meadows He was released from Chicago and signed with Tennessee for a $1.12 million, one year deal. He was only scouted at 31/34 this year, however it was his lucky year, as a spate of injuries gave him some playing time. He started 4 games and played in all 16 for the Titans, recording 191 carries for 695 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Titans went 14-2 in the regular season and went to the Super Bowl but were denied by undefeated St. Louis. Deon retired after this season.

Well that's it for this crop of Joes. I'm going to put this dynasty on hiatus for a while, I'm a little tired of the Joes concept right now, if I do another dynasty it will have a different spin on it. Hope people have enjoyed it!
