Lady H_B has a friend in town from England for the week. They spent the first few days here in DC and this morning they went up to New Jersey/New York to spend some time up there, leaving me (who has to work) alone for the next two nights. So I come home from work tonight to find a brand new copy of NCAA 2006 on the steps (bow and all) and a cold six pack of Shiner Bock chilling in the fridge. Sometimes this married thing aint so bad at all... :D

Sounds like she's fuckin' around on you.

Left a gift to allay her guilt and everything.

Do you need to be reminded of what happens when women go on trips with their friends and not their boyfriends/husbands?

I'll remind you anyway.

Yeah, HB really lucked out. He's very lucky he didn't end up with someone like that chick Arles married. What a nightmare she turned out to be.

LOL!

Add hormones and 110+ degrees and she's a real bitch.http://dynamic.gamespy.com/%7Efof/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

So that's why you like the Wings. You used up all your good taste when you got married. :)

Still doesn't explain your fixation on that crappy English football team you support though.

What happens when you take away the raging hormones and the 110 degree heat?

:p

Man, a lad loses himself in a PS2 game for a few hours and so much goes on in the world...

I will reply in kind:

1. I live. It was no trap.

2. No, Sui, unfortunately I do not live in "pornovision" world. Perhaps one day...

3. Not worried about any "foul play" in the works or buttering me up for something. Way she explained it was that she can never buy me anything I really like since I pretty much buy myself most things I want (no self-control there) or she has no clue about the things I like (video games, comic books, action figures, that sort of thing...), so since I mentioned the game this morning she took the oppurtunity!

4. You're damn straight, Mrs. Whitworth-Rahn! :D

5. Ah, klayman one day you'll realize my tastes are impeccable across all things: women, hockey, English football (Europe bound!), etc., etc. When you finally have this epiphany I will welcome you into the fold with open arms.

6. Jeebs, oh yeah we've got Shiner in DC. I can sometimes even find it at the corner grocery store. I think it has to do with the influx of Texans into the District since 2000.

And some people think that a Texan in the White House is a bad thing...

Man, I really wish we had more readily available Shiner out here. Though I must admit, I haven't looked much since I got back here to San Jose.

Any BevMo will definitely have it.

Ah, the wonders of BevMo. In Santa Barbara, no such thing existed. I'll have to find one up here. I'm sure there's one, probably not more than 15 minutes from my house.

BevMo? Is that like Circle K and Tom Thumb. Places that don't exist in Ohio.

Beverages and More -- specialty store where you can usually find "hard-to-find" beverages.

I actually put the game on your doorstep in hopes you would open it up and play it. Because as you do that, it is sending me all your bank information, passwords, SSN, and I will assume your life momentarily.....(insert evil laugh+music)

Wait....I just foiled my own plans since I told you what I was doing...

"I'll never join you!"

Besides. Blue is for hockey, Red is football. That's the way it has always been, that's the way it will always be. You have it backwards, my friend. (We're Europe bound too, and we got a trophy to show for it :p )
