Due to the corrupt save game file, I am having to do this over, I will be removing the original thread here in a bit.
Currently, I have a thread up allowing the vote for the position Avery will be, this poll will end tonight.
The Poll (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~fof/forums/showthread.php?p=851975#post851975) - Poll has ended, and the group has selected for a LB to try and earn the Heisman.
The Rules:
I will be using Playmakers College Gameday Slider Settings.
I must select one of the 3 teams to offer, no walking on, anywhere.
The Extras:
Graphically, I hope to make this a bit more pleasing to the eye.
I will use logos, from somewhere, for each game report, and announcing the top 25.
I liked illinifan's use of screenshots, I will attempt to use my digital camera for specific shots if he gives me the ok, I do not want to steal his idea.
Overall layout, I will try and attempt to make it more appealing.
Thanks in advance for those who will follow this dynasty re-launch

What can I say, the camps for the past 4 years have helped me show off my talent to a lot of the major schools in the nation.
Now I am entering my senior season as an all-state LB at Timpview High School in Provo, Utah.
From my understanding, this school doesn't see a linebacker like me that often. They have been known for their QB's and OL. Sending several to the D1 ranks.
Now it's my turn to end up there.
This is my story, on how I am going to move from my High School playing days, to hopefully, a major D1 program. I will provide the press clippings, and much more on how I fair through my time there.
My first stop as I roll into my senior year is the Nike Football Camp this summer. I will be participating in several drills and speaking to several recruiters and coaches while I am there.

What can I say, this was one of the craziest events I have ever been to. One could call it a cattle show. We were treated like a prize animal, poked, proded, measured, weighed, and then the true fun began.
Matching up with guys that are bigger than me, was a blast, working against backs that are faster than what I am used to was another experience all together.
As I started the main, Oklahoma Drill, with a defensive lineman, going up against an offensive lineman and a running back, it was tough, we each were lined up, and I couldn't move until the running back made his move.
I was able to work hard, and force a lot of runs out of the drill area, I was tied up once by the offensive lineman, and it allowed a score.
When the smoke cleared, I only allowed one run in the entire drill. I also had 3 tackles for loss.
It helped me set up some times, and meetings with several big time schools.

My senior year was solid, I was able to lead the state in Tackles, was 2nd in sacks, and I managed to rack up several INT's at the LB spot. At Timpview, they mainly have me in the ILB roll, but if I needed to match up against a particular running back, they moved me to the OLB spot for coverage purposes.
Recruiting was wild, and it still is, with letters, e-mails, phone calls, and visits. I honestly liked the in state schools, but my top 3 choices, are because of immediate guranteed start time, television time that may allow me to get to the big show.
My top 3 choices so far in this are:

#15 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Purdue.gif Purdue
#21 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Texas_Tech.gif Texas Tech

The time is approaching where I need to make the official announcement of where I am going to play ball.
Purdue slid off the radar when their national t.v. exposure just isn't what it was going to be. The regional broadcasts are ok, but not what I was looking for.
Texas Tech was very intriguing for me, their Offense can put up the numbers, and their defense is decent, I could probably move in, and help out immediately. It would be great to shock a few schools this season, however, the exposure still hurts here.
Georgia, in a great conference, with a great team, some national exposure, but I could make a name for myself here. Besides, my dad always kept talking about Georgia, one of his favorite areas in the nation, and after my campus visit I agree with his assesment.
My mind was pretty much made up after the campus visits.
I am heading to Georgia!

Week 1
Week 1 was a bye week for us, so we had to get ready for Boise State that was coming in to play us.
Their offense is crazy, they like the trickery, and they have an extremely talented team. Their defense, is fast, faster than what you would expect out of the WAC.
I have earned the starting spot at the OLB position, but I have guys hounding me, waiting for me to mess up, waiting for me to choke in a big game.

Week 2
My first game in DIV 1, and I am starting as a freshman, I am sick to my stomach, the butterflies have been spinning all night. I slept well, but my dreams were horrible, trying to catch a running back that wasn't affected by the molasses I was stuck in. Horrible, horrible dreams.

1st Half
WOW! The roar of the sold out stadium was deafining. They have said, if you are a visiting team this is the 3rd hardest place to play, and I could believe it.
The game started out as a slug fest, we hit each other in the jaw in quick 3 and outs. Then Boise State struck first, we had them pinned on their 3, when they hit a quick pass across the middle, and their TE, caught it at the 20. Next play, they hit the soft spot on the zone between me and the WR. He turned it, blowing by the CB, and I almost brought him down at our 20, but he kicked it into extra, and took it all the way in.
Boise State 7 Georgia 0
On the ensuing kick off, we are methodic, taking the ball from our 20, and nickle and diming their defense down to around the 50 yard line.
Tailback Danny Ware took the hand off and rumbled for close to 40 yard with a counter, being tackled by his face mask. He actually stayed down, and was in some pain for a bit...but he eventually walked off the field.
The next play, QB D.J. Shockley dropped back, and turned and hit tailback Thomas Brown on a swing pass, Thomas took it in the end zone from close to 13 yards out.
Boise State 7 Georgia 7
We pin them on the 22 from the kick-off, and we start bringing it, trying to confuse their QB. Which, on the 3rd down, it does, and I make my 1st play of the season. I don't know if he saw me there or not, but I hauled in the INT, and took 3 steps forward before I was brought down by their TE. The adrenaline is there, and I am surging now.
We were controlled, and D.J. was sacked for a loss, but we went and kicked the FG
Boise State 7 Georgia 10
The plays are starting to put me into place to make plays, and on the next possession, on 3rd and 11, they hit one across the middle, I was dropping into my zone, turned, and leveled the TE, effectively, killing the drive, and forcing a punt at 4th and 5.
We were held out on the next series, and then on 2nd and 8, I blitzed in from the outside, hoping to get the sack, but not expecting the back to have the ball, by tackle attempt was ok, but I did not wrap up, forcing the back to turn it back, where he was leveled by Christopher Gaunder.
They managed to make a 3rd and long conversion, and kept it up down the field. With the clock ticking away the half, we needed to stop the team, and Gaunder did it for us, picking off their QB, and returning it 10 yards.
With under a minute left in the half, we kick it into our two minute offense and start marching down the field. Where with 10 seconds left, we go for the end zone. D.J. had someone open in the End Zone, but Boise State CB #27 stepped in front of it on the goal line, and picked it off.
Score at Half time
Boise State 7 Georgia 10
2nd Half
It was a battle of defenses in the 3rd quarter, up until about 2 minutes left, when Boise State was able to sustain a drive, with my help, somewhat.
3rd and 6, I am man up on the back, playing a spy, and he takes a delay, and crashes up and through the line, I step up to get the jam, and he blows by me, and gets a lob that is just right over my head. This allowed the drive to continue.
The very next play, I was sent in on a blitz, wide open, and their QB, ducked underneath the hit, and was able to complete an 8 yard pass.
2nd and 2, I am sent in on another blitz, this time stunting with the DE, and I get to the QB! My first ever sack in the D1!
With 3rd and 10, we drop into a Cover 2 Man, and the run a sweep to the Right, away from me, and their running back, makes several good moves, including breaking a tackle from our corner, Donovan Baldwin. He rumbled 62 yards for a TD.
Boise State 14 Georgia 10
That one hurt, rolling into the 4th qtr, we were getting stopped consistently on offense, but with 2:45 left in the game, we started a great drive, that even forced us to go for it on 4th and 1, and we succeeded, and with 1 minute left, and a 3rd and goal situation on the 1, we gave a dive to our running back Thomas Brown, and we rang the score up!
Boise State 14 Georgia 17
A minute left, and Boise kicks into their 2 minute drill, we are playing mostly zone, but working the man a bit to keep them on their toes, I bat a ball down, right into the arms of their receiver, and he gains 12 yards off of that.
Next play, the send me on a blitz, and I am jammed by the Tackle, and our young corner blows coverage, and they gain 70 yards off the play.
They are sitting on our 20, knowing they can kick the FG to force overtime, and it looks like they will settle for the field goal, as they dive twice, calling two timeouts to set them up in the middle.
3rd and 6, and we are getting ready to jam the middle, when they take an outside option on us, and I am a step slow getting shaved by their TE, and the run it in from 16 out!
Boise State 21 Georgia 17
Wow, the air was let out of our sails there, just under 30 seconds left in the game, and we are down. We attempted to make a comeback, but it just wasn't happening.

I was a little shocked, but the ESPN College Game Day crew handed me player of the game honors for our team. I honestly thought it would have been Thomas Brown with his 2 touchdown runs.
My final stats were
3 tkls, 1 for loss, 1 Sack, and an INT.
Not bad for a first game, but I know it is going to get crazy. The Alumni are writing to me, telling me that I have a glorious history to follow, and I better not let them down. The papers are hitting us with labels already. I just hope Boise State does well this season to make our loss not sting as much.
(Writers Note: This game, since I haven't had many, was rated the #1 greatest game of all time with 860 points directed for it)

The loss definately hurt, I was yelling at the game when we gave up the long one, but the computer did set me up for their final score, I was extremely impressed by that.
My WR's have stones for hands, they dropped several passes right into them, they were deep balls, where they had them beat.
My impact TE did squat as well.
My QB...D.J., he is an impact player that is a stud, and was the 2nd leading rusher yesterday...

Week 3
http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/South_Carolina.gif at http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
We welcome South Carolina and Steve Spurrier into town. Now, this game, as coach tabbed it. Welcome back to the SEC game. We wanted to avenge last weeks heart breaker, and we needed a solid game against a conference opponent to make it happen.
1st Half
Spurrier must have seen something in the game film against Boise State, he came right out after me, first play, ran straight at me, I collided with their running back, it hurt, shook me up a bit, but I only allowed 2 yards on that play.
After a quick 3 and out, we started marching down the field, our offense was clicking, and it was good to see, until D.J., trying to force one in, was picked off at the SC 5 yard line by their impact Free Saftey.
We shut them down, and another 3 and out ensued. After the punt return and a quick handoff to Danny, D.J. dropped backed, and pumped, forcing the corner to step out, Sean Bailey raced by him, and D.J. hit him in stride for a 48 yd TD.
South Carolina 0 Georgia 7
I think this ticked ol Spurrier off, he came out gunning for us, and our young DB's screwed up, allowing a 64 yd TD on their second play
South Carolina 7 Georgia 7
After that, it was a lot of smash mouth football, collisions everywhere. We finally reached within scoring range, and Andy Bailey nailed a 33 yd FG to end the qtr
South Carolina 7 Georgia 10
Rolling into the second quarter, we were able to force a punt, and we were off attacking, D.J. was saying during one of the breaks that the corner on Sean's side was playing Sean way to tight, and they could exploit it all day.
Which, in the next series they did, going 55 yards.
3rd and 7, on the 10 yard line, and D.J. audibled out of his play, he noticed their OLB creeping in, and took off on an option. He ran it all the way in for a 10 yard TD.
South Carolina 7 Georgia 17
The next several plays involved me, as I was able to bat down a pass, and put some serious heat on the QB, forcing him to throw the pass for the screen early, hitting me in the top of the helmet.
After the punt, we started churning down the field again, this time Danny managed to score from 15 yards out.
South Carolina 7 Georgia 24
In the next series, 1st play into it. LOLB Tavares Kearney landed awkwardly on a helmet, walking off the field, clutching his chest. He has been a big help with me learning the plays, I hope he is ok.
The next play, they try to attack Tim Jennings again. This time, the ball bounces off of their WR, and Tim takes it all the way to the house with a cadre of blockers leading the way! A 63 yard INT TD.
South Carolina 7 Georgia 31
A quick 3 and out, gets us the ball back, and the clock is ticking, we figure, run it out, and come out at half, getting the ball back.
But something else happened. Danny fumbled the ball, on the 25, and it was picked up by the SC strong saftey and returned for the TD. They even went for 2 and succeeded.
What a way to finish the half
South Carolina 15 Georgia 31
2nd Half
1st play of the second half, we had called a play action, and D.J. gets crushed, by the DE. And is in pain, grabbing onto his shoulder. This is definately not good. Tereshinski comes in for the back up role, and does not look composed at all, and we go 3 snd out.
All of us must have been shell shocked about D.J. as SC march down the field on us. We finally break out of our daze and stiffen up a bit. And we hold them to a 46 yd FG.
South Carolina 18 Georgia 31
D.J. makes it out in the next series, trainers said he has a bruised shoulder, but it is not his throwing arm.
We trade a few series, and then D.J and Sean Bailey hook up again, this time for 45 yards and the TD!
South Carolina 18 Georgia 38
With the quarter coming to a close, you can see some desperation in the faces of the SC players, they know they are still in it, but they also know, we are another score away from nailing this one shut.
I drop back into my zone, and the WR comes across, right behind me, I turn, as the ball lands into his hands, the grin is there, as I see nothing but the small of his back, I drop the shoulder, and hit, hearing the breath escape his lungs, I see Tim coming up, and dropping his shoulder right into the ball, forcing it out, and the fumble is recovered by Greg Blue our Free Saftey.
SC's defense decided to get a little cranky, and force a deep FG as time expires in the quarter. Andy Bailey misses the 49 yarder.
Score at the end of the quarter:
South Carolina 18 Georgia 38
We needed to nail this game shut, and we did, with a quick attack in the 4th as D.J. and Sean hooked up again, this one for 43 yards and a TD. Putting this game out of reach for SC.
South Carolina 18 Georgia 45
The next series, a big time, play action, forces us to step up, and they go deep, not just 40 yards, try 82 yards for the score. The ball was honestly, in the air for close to 60 yards, and Tim was flat out beat.
South Carolina 25 Georgia 45
The TD built some conifdence up on the SC side, and we just grinded this one out, as we marched down the field, option left, option right, up the middle. All the way down to the two yard line. Where FB Brannan Southerland punched one in.
South Carolina 25 Georgia 52
We were on prevent, and just trying to bend and not break, for the rest of the game as SC kept attacking, mainly Tim and our side of the field.
But they went to the well one to many times, and we forced the fumble.
To seal the deal, Demiko Goodman caught a short pass, and turned it up field, with a great juke move on their MLB. 63 yards for a TD, and only 1 second left in the game.
Final Score
South Carolina 25 Georgia 59

That was a crazy game, and for me, it was a pretty poor play.
I only had 2 tackles, and 2 pass deflections. My intagibles were forcing plays back to the inside.
Reading through some of the articles up on ESPN, I noticed the Boise State is 2-0, as long as they keep winning, our loss won't look to bad.
Oh, and one other thing. I got my pic in the paper from the Boise game, it was of me, holding my head after they scored they game winning TD.

Week 4
http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Louisiana-Monroe.gifat http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
Going into this game, I overheard coach talking to the OC and DC, he was very concerned due to the way we practiced this week, that we are not taking things serious enough. That is not a good omen coming into the game.
1st Quarter
Coming out firing on all cylinders, and just flat out aggressive, you could tell we were not ready for this kind of fight.
Louisiana-Monroe scored on their first series with a 32 yard run
ULM 7 Georgia 0
We countered, as we drove down the field, with D.J. hitting TE Leonard Pope, one of our impact players on offense, for a 32 yard pass to keep the drive alive and get us down the field.
On the next play, D.J. hit Leonard again, this time in the end zone.
ULM 7 Georgia 7
Louisiana-Monroe drove down on us again, setting the ball up on our 5, the first play, the ended up getting stuffed, on the 2nd play, I was on a spy call, and they started an option away from me, and I was able to bust through the OL, and grab the ball carrier behind the line of scrimmage and give them a 2 yard loss.
The next play, they barely got the pass off from our blitz, but that was enough as they hauled one in for a 7 yard TD.
ULM 14 Georgia 7
2nd Quarter
We now realize we are in for a fight, and we just start pounding at the defense, up the gut and off tackle, with some option. We do this all the way down the field, including Danny Wares 29 yard TD run to tie the game up.
ULM 14 Georgia 14
The next series, on defense, I should have had the INT, as I was watching the ball come right at me, but I took my eyes off of it, as I looked to the open green down the field and began to think TD. Nice deflection by me though.
The next play, I blitz in, crushing their QB just as he released the ball, I guess I get the hurry.
Tim Jennings, our DB on my side has been picked on all season due to how aggressive he plays, and this next play wasn't any different as they go 62 yards over the top on him for the TD.
ULM 21 Georgia 14
As we get close to rounding out the half, we tighten up, and Tim Jennings gets an INT that our offense is not able to do anything with. Our MLB Tony Taylor pulls down an INT as well, and our offense sputters on the drive.
At the end of the half we go in down.
ULM 21 Georgia 14
Boy did coach let us have it, he was asking us if we were going to jog around at practice ever again, if we were ever going to under estimate a team. He stated ULM has the momentum and emotion to take us down, and we have to dig deep, and find the heart needed to win. Because obviously they have more talent.
Coming out, 3 plays into the half, D.J. guns to a wide open Bryan McClendon and the pass bounces off his hands and into one of ULM's DL, and takes the INT 22 yards for the TD.
ULM 28 Georgia 14
To help set us up for the next offensive series, HB Thomas Brown returns the kick for 50 yards. Putting the offense in a great situation.
We march it down the field, and D.J. hits Demiko Goodman in the end zone from 11 yards out for the TD
ULM 28 Georgia 21
Our defense tightens up and forces the punt. We come out with a run up the middle for 5 yards, and then D.J. takes it deep, to Sean Bailey for a 62 yard TD and ties the game up.
ULM 28 Georgia 28
ULM sustains a drive against us and pounds one in from 4 yards out to take the lead again.
ULM 35 Georgia 28
D.J. smiles as he leaves the sideline, winking at me and saying watch this. He goes out there, and audibles from the line. He drops back and hits Bryan McClendon in stride for a 69 yard TD.
ULM 35 Georgia 35
ULM promtly answers us as the quarter comes to an end, this time they go 51 yards on Tim Jennings for the score.
ULM 42 Georgia 35
4th Quarter
We huddle up as a squad defensively, and say no more. We can not give up any TD's. D.J. is playing his heart out, and we are not giving him a break.
Our one series is stalled and we punt.
On the next series, it's 2nd and 5 for ULM, and I come in untouched from the outside, and plant their QB into the ground, picking up a sack.
They in turn, kick a 42 yard FG
ULM 45 Georgia 35
On the punt, we return it and it sets us up in good position, 2 plays later, D.J. takes the Speed Option, keeping the ball, and ends up in the End Zone 58 yards later. This also puts him over 100 yards rushing in the game as well.
ULM 45 Georgia 42
Next series we tighten down, but we still give up a 45 yard FG.
ULM 48 Georgia 42
The game still isn't out of reach, but a FG no longer ties it, we have to go for the TD and a win.
With about 2 minutes left, and with us marching down the field, D.J. fumbles the ball, and it is recovered by ULM.
ULM is going to try and run the clock out, we have to stop them, and not allow a first down. On the first play, the get 2 yards rushing, we call a time out.
2nd down, they try to run, and are held at the line of scrimmage. We call the time out.
3rd down, they try to pass, and they are sacked by DE Quentin Moses and we call the time out.
they punt the ball down the field, and pin us on our 4 yard line.
one minute left in the game, and 96 yards between us and the win. As a defense, we are all standing on the sideline, holding hands as a unit, praying, and supporting our offense.
First play, D.J. audibles from the pass that was called, and Danny Ware takes it right up the gut for 14 yards and the first down.
D.J. gets the guys to the Line of Scrimmage, and they stay with the original pass play that was called previously. Pass is dropped.
D.J. lines them up on the line of scrimmage, he drops back to pass, and is sacked. we are now in a 3rd and long situation, and he gets the guys up to the line of scrimmage again, and takes the snap. This time he keeps it, out running the blitz and taking it down field to the 32 yard line, and he runs out of bounds.
We have 8 seconds left, and there is 68 yards there. D.J. get the team lined up, the silence in the stadium is amazing, I do not think this place has ever been this quiet. You can actually hear the entire Audible that D.J. does from the line. He takes the snap...drops back three steps, and gives a pump fake on the hitch to Sean Bailey. Sean stops, and turns, and then wheels, taking off down field, D.J. launches it, and Sean Bailey grabs the pass in stride, taking this one the 68 yards needed for the TD.
The stadium erupts, it sounds like a jet engine, it is deafening, as I can't hear anything around me. Looking out to the field, Andy Bailey lines up for the PAT, and boots it through, and he busts out into dance with one of the OL on the field. And the stadium is rocking.
FINAL SCORE
ULM 48 Georgia 49
I like Tim Jennings as a person, but his play on the field as of late has to be questioned, and I am bringing it up to one of the captains this week. Hopefully, they can either get on Tim, or the coach, and we can get some changes out there.
Tim is just to aggressive at times, and it burns him more than anything. Granted, he does leads the team in INTs, it's that daredevil aspect that puts our games into jeopardy.

Getting the paper the next day, they are blaming the defense for the fact we needed last second heroics in order to win the game. And they are truly correct in that aspect.
As for my stats this game. I ended up with the following.
5 tackles, 2 for loss, 1 sack, 1 pass deflection.
I am getting man handled at the line of scrimmage by offensive linemen. I need to strengthen up, and learn how to fight their blocks better.

Week 5
http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gifat http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Mississippi_St.gif
My first road game of the year, and we are travelling to an extremely hostile crowd at Mississippi State.
My understanding is they have the two weakest corners in the nation, and D.J. should have a hey day with them. As for their offense, their QB and RB are their two impact players.
1st Quarter
Mississippi State get the ball first, and we promptly stuff them. We are prepared, and are not going to have what happened last week, happen again.
2nd play from scrimmage, D.J. is wasted as he releases the ball. It's pretty serious, and he is carted off the field, our entire sideline is quiet We are shocked, a little concerned. Joe in his brief stint a couple of games back, did not do to well.
3rd play, he whips one down the field for a first down. Then he is promptly sacked, for the next 2 downs, it puts us on our own 7 yard line, with us facing a 3rd and 21 situation.
Joe lines up, and takes the snap. He drops back to the 2 yard line, and lets it go. Sean Bailey has left his corner and has him beat by 5 yards, he snags the ball around the middle of the field, and out sprints the free saftey into the End Zone....WOW, a 93 yard TD pass. This one goes down in the Georgia record books as the longest pass.
It looks like Joe needed a little bit of knocking around to get his head right.
Georgia 7 Mississippi St. 0
2nd Quarter
Word comes from the trainers that they sent D.J. to the hospital for x-rays and they will let coach know what the extent of the injuries are when they can. They know it's a broken rib, but they do not know how bad until the xrays are performed.
This quarter is a lot of slug it out football with both rushing and passing games coming to a halt.
Our only score came from Joe hitting Bryan McClendon across the right side of the end zone for a 35 yard TD.
Georgia 14 Mississippi St. 0
3rd Quarter
More smash mouth football as both teams could not do much.
The only score coming this quarter was a 45 Yard Field Goal from Mississippi State.
Georgia 14 Mississippi St. 3
4th Quarter
The 4th starts off well, Gordon Ely-Kelso punts the ball 76 yards, for another Georgia record, and pins Mississippi State on their own 10.
I break through on a blitz the very next play stuffing the option in the back field.
As they punt it, Thomas Flowers returns the punt 48 yards, with the tackle coming from behind on the Mississippi State 9 yard line.
The next play, Danny Ware takes it in up the middle for the TD.
Georgia 21 Mississippi St. 3
We hold them to a 3 and out next series, we then march the ball down the field with Joe hitting Bryan McClendon in the end zone for an 11 yard TD reception.
Georgia 28 Mississippi St. 3
The trainer gets the call from the hospital, it looks like D.J. broke a lot of ribs, and one of them is close to puncturing his lung. He is out for the year. If we get to a bowl game for New Years, he might make it out for that.
Our defense, we pin our ears back, and just go after their QB, he isn't to sure on what to do, where the blitz are coming from, and our strong saftey on a blitz, strips the ball. DE Quentin Moses jumps on the ball, and recovers it.
We proceed to run the clock, and Brannan Southerland pounds it in from the 1 yard line.
Georgia 35 Mississippi St. 3
We proceed to stop them the next couple of series, and we end up winning our 2nd conference game.
Final Score
Georgia 35 Mississippi St. 3

What a shocker to hear about D.J. but Joe proved that he can do it against Mississippi State.
The question is, can he do it now, against #8 Tennessee this week.
My Heisman chances this season are pretty much non existent now, the last couple of game, I haven't been spectacular in, but I have done well.
The game against Mississippi State I ended up with 4 tackles and 2 for loss.
We are ranked 18th right now, so we have kept our top 25 rating, even with our loss to Boise. Which reminds me, I have to do some research to see where they stand nationally as well.
Tennessee is going to be a tough game, and I hope we can come out winners from that one.

Hell of a last-minute drive against ULM and I like the way you boys held strong against MSU despite losing D.J.
Good luck with the Heisman race.. I think defense is probably the hardest side to get it on, since they usually go for the glitzy boys on O.

Yeah, The ULM game was when I stood up and threw my hands in the air and said "Hell Yeah, Take that!"
I could not stop ULM, they countered almost every single one of my defensive play calls, and their QB was smart, he took advantage of the blitz, if I had a player leave the area, he had a WR, TE, or Back fill the spot, and he dumped it. And when I went man up, he went over the top attacking my weak corner.
As for D.J. I lose a major component of my offense, he made the offense. Most defenses are forced to be honest against him, as I was able to tuck and go with him if needed, and he was a major factor in setting up the option pass.
Joe will help us out well, although, his speed sucks, I won't be doing much of the option.
Thanks for reading.....

We are prepping for Tennessee this week.
Joe is looking real solid in Practice.
Watching game film on them, this team is the real deal. I honestly feel Tennessee has a chance at the title this year.
Their defense is the fastest I have seen this year, and their HB, he is strong and has game breaking skills.

Week 7
#13http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif at #4 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Tennessee.gif
This game has been hyped up all over the place, both teams look even coming into it, but no one knows.
Rumor has it, Lee Corso picked us for the win in his pre-game hype.
1st Quarter
Tennessee's defense was lightning quick, but Joe was able to take advantage of them, and he hit a 40 yd TD pass to Sean Bailey giving us the lead.
Georgia 7 Tennessee 0
2nd Quarter
The game, pretty much turned into a slug fest, as we were blitzing and stunting from all angles, as were they.
Eventually, Tennessee managed to score with an 18 yard FG.
Georgia 7 Tennessee 3
We were set up on a 3 and out, and then Tennessee came out, Coach sent me in on a middle blitz out of the 4-2-5, the center stepped to the right to pick up the other backer, I was clean through, and managed a sack.
Next play, coach sent me again, this time from the outside crash out of the 4-3, and I managed to get another sack.
This set them 3rd and long, when the went over the top on Tim again, this time he gave up a 52 yard TD.
Georgia 7 Tennessee 10
The next series for Tennessee, they managed to pound their way down the field, where they went over the top again on Tim for a 28 yd TD.
Georgia 7 Tennessee 17
Eventually, our offense started to churn again, and we worked ourselves down the field, where we were finally stopped within the 20. But our kicker Bailey, managed to place one through the uprights from 28 yards out. Ending the half.
Georgia 10 Tennessee 17
3rd Quarter
We come out, and it's a quick 3 and out, and on Tennessee's second play they work on Tim again, this time a 68 yard TD pass.
Georgia 10 Tennessee 24
The very next series, we are driving down the field, when Danny Ware fumbles the ball, and Tennessee scoops it up.
Their next play, they take to the air again, this time a 66 yard TD pass on Tim.
Georgia 10 Tennessee 31
Things looked like they were going to get worse, but on an option play, I was able to step in, and slam the back for a loss.
This forced the punt.
Following a sack, Joe takes it 80 yards to Sean Bailey for the Score.
Georgia 17 Tennessee 31
Tennessee comes out, slightly pissed, and work their way up the field, this time attacking our other side of the field, as Tims replacement is working well. The strike though, for a 47 yard TD Pass.
Georgia 17 Tennessee 38
We go 3 and out, and Tennessee marches right back down the field on us. We stiffen up in the red zone, and they kick a 20 yard FG.
Georgia 17 Tennessee 41
4th Quarter
They are really coming at us. Coach seems to think they don't like the way they have been treated all game. We are constantly hitting their QB, sometimes it's close to late.
They work on us, keeping the starters in, and pound the ball in the end zone from 8 yards out.
Georgia 17 Tennessee 48
We cannot build a sustained drive, and punt it. They are driving down the field, and are in our side of the field where coach sends me on an inside stunt, I fill the gap, and collide with the back, I placed my helmet right on the ball, and it pops out, we end up recovering the ball.
Joe comes right out, and works down field, finally completing another TD pass to Sean Bailey, this one from 68 yards out.
Georgia 24 Tennessee 48
That one must have hurt some pride, because they come out throwing, and manage to work one 32 yards over the top on us, and ring up another 7 at the end of the game.
Final Score
Georgia 24 Tennessee 55
Tim knows he is done as the starter for the season, and coach is not to high on Joe, the kid can't run, and eliminating the option kills us. When teams have speed like Tennessee has, we are going to be killed on the run.
I did not have a bad game as I went with the Final stats of.
6 tackles, 2 for loss, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble.
One thing I am noticing, teams are rarely throwing in my zone as I am able to cover their WR's and TE's pretty decently.
MacroGuru
08-14-2005, 08:26 PM
Next up, is Vanderbilt, and they have a decent QB/WR punch, that may hurt us. Tim is being sat this game, and I may be forced to sit as well.
Coach isn't liking the fact I get tied up a lot by the bigger OL and TE's.
We will see how it comes around game time.

Week 8
#18 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif at http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Vanderbilt.gif
1st Quarter
Right off the bat, Vandy attacks me, I was not prepared for that, and I blow my coverage, and they gain 51 yards. Not a good sign.
They continue to move the ball until they punch it in from 1 yd out.
Georgia 0 Vanderbilt 7
Our offense comes out, and immediately answers back, by pounding the ball down the field. One deep ball to Sean Bailey sets us up for the 4 yard plunge by FB Chase Green.
Georgia 7 Vanderbilt 7
A quick 3 and out, sets us up around our 30 after the punt. We move the ball slowly down the field, but Joe finds Sean Bailey open down the field for a 39 yard TD.
Georgia 14 Vanderbilt 7
Towards the end of the quarter, Vanderbilt sustains a drive and hits a 27 yard pass for a TD.
Georgia 14 Vanderbilt 7
2nd Quarter
Danny Wade provides the spark needed as we move the ball down the field. He is running guys over, and just stuffing the ball down their throat.
Eventually, he takes one in from 14 yards out.
Georgia 21 Vanderbilt 7
Eventually, Vanderbilt answers, but this time we bent, but did not break, as Tim Jennings tigthened down on his WR.
The manage an 18 yard field goal
Georgia 21 Vanderbilt 17
Saftey Thomas Flowers eventually stepped in front of a Vanderbilt pass and managed to gain a few yards from that.
Coach has been switching things up defensively, and it is beginning to show on the Vanderbilt QB.
Andy Bailey comes out to try a 34 yd FG towards the end of the quarter and he misses it, just taking it wide.
Georgia 21 Vanderbilt 17
3rd Quarter
Coach let us have it at half time, he was pissed this low end school has managed to play as tight as they have against us. And things were going to start off worse.
On the kick off, Vanderbilt was able to return the ball deep, close to their 40 yard line. They then moved the ball down the field on us, to where we tightened up, and forced an 18 yard FG.
Georgia 21 Vanderbilt 20
Coach began letting us have it the minute we came off the field, telling us, since we can't do squat, the offense will show us how to be true men. That pissed the lot of us off.
More of Danny Wade is stuffed down Vanderbilts throat as we manage to score again. Another Wade rushing TD from 11 yards out.
Georgia 28 Vanderbilt 20
Next series LB Christopher Gaudner stepped right in front of an errant pass, and snagged it. He managed to gain a few yards on the return.
We were held, but were able to try a 43 yard FG. Andy missed it, and sent this one wide left.
The rest of the quarter was a slug fest as no one could churn anything up.
4th Quarter
We are driving down the field, Wade is purely worn out, he has over 250 yards rushing right now. Coach sends in Thomas Brown, who is a complete change up compared to Wade. He is faster, a bit more shifty, and if he gets outside on you, he is gone.
We set him up to show his speed with a 6 yard TD run.
Georgia 35 Vanderbilt 20
The very next series, Vanderbilt is now in panic mode as they are 2 TD's away from winning the game, they do realize it is slipping out of their hands.
FS Greg Blue leaps up, and snags the ball out of the Vandy receivers hands, and he turns it and is able to run 20 yards up the field with it.
This sets up some additional runs from Thomas Brown, inlcuding another TD, this one from 3 yards out.
Georgia 42 Vanderbilt 20
The game is basically out of Vandy's hands, but they are trying to take us deep, and score on us.
Another pass, and another INT, this time it is from Demario Minter, who is immediately hauled down.
Our offense wasn't able to do anything. But a solid punt pinned Vandy at their 10. Followed by a sack, a tackle for a loss, coach calls a SS Blitz, and they come in, getting the Saftey, it is credited to Olaolu Sanni-Osoma.
Georgia 44 Vanderbilt 20
With 20 seconds left in the game, and Vandy having to kick the ball to us from the saftey, they would have been smart to just boot it out of bounds, but their punter lacks a strong leg, and he shortens it.
Demiko Goodman takes the kick, and just burns past everyone, including his blockers. He ends up running this one in from 67 yards out.
FINAL
Georgia 51 Vanderbilt 20

Believe it or not their is Heisman Hype circulating in Georgia, but not for me. It's churning for WR Sean Bailey as he has over 1000 yards receiving and 9 TD's.
One thing that is helping us in the rankings is the fact that Boise State is ranked #1 overall, and is the only team undefeated so far.
Also, Tennessee is now ranked at #2.
In the game against Vanderbilt, besides the one pass, and a few runs that came to my side, they pretty much ran away from me.
I was able to get 2 tackles in the game though.

Week 9
http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Arkansas.gifat #17http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
1st Quarter
No one wanted to disappoint coach, and we were coming out firing on all cylinders. We take the kick off, and on the opening drive, we hit a deep pass to our FB Southerland, and then we start working the run game. With Danny Wade taking one into the end zone from 11 yards out.
Arkansas 0 Georgia 7
The next series, Arkansas is driving, and coach blitzes me from the outside, I come in, rushing the QB, he feels me, and he releases just as I crush him. the Left Outside Linebacker Danny Wheeler steps in front of the pass and gets the INT.
Followed by a couple of quick runs and a 6 yard TD jaunt by Danny Wade.
Arkansas 0 Georgia 14
Some dumb plays offensively on both sides of the ball, followed with some solid defensive play. Leads to us driving down the field towards the end of the quarter. A swing pass to FB Southerland, bounces off of his hands and right into the defenders.
2nd Quarter
Arkansas, capitalizes on the mistake. They are stopped, but the 45 yard FG is good.
Arkansas 3 Georgia 14
To answer Arkansas as fast as possible, Joe audibles at the Line of scrimmage, and takes one deep to Demiko Goodman. It was a 78 yard TD reception.
Arkansas 3 Georgia 21
The next series, we shut them down. On 3rd down, I am set as a spy on the QB, he rolls out to my side, I blitz in for the sack, forcing them to punt.
As we are driving, a solid shot on Joe, as he is dropping back forces the fumble and Arkansas recovers.
The answer in that drive, again, scoring off of a turnover. This time it is a 29 yard TD pass.
Arkansas 10 Georgia 21
3rd Quarter
Coach was excited with our play at half, and gave us an extremely positive pep talk. One that set our blood boiling.
We come out flying ears pinned back on defense, eventually getting to a frustrated Arkansas QB, forcing the fumble, which we promptly recover.
This is followed by a grinding running game where FB Southerland takes a 1 yard plunge for the score.
Arkansas 10 Georgia 28
The next series, they are trying to drive down, and run an option to my side, I step up, smashing the QB, and forcing him to ditch the ball early, the running back grabs it, but is immediately hit for a loss.
It's a punt, and Joe immediately comes out attacking through the air. He is trying to get one to Sean Bailey, which he finally does. This one for 54 yards and the TD.
Arkansas 10 Georgia 35
The atmosphere is jovial on the side line as talk shifts to what people are going to do tonight.
Arkansas mounts a small drive, and the manage to score on a 43 yard field goal. I did manage to stall the drive with another sack, forcing the FG.
Arkansas 13 Georgia 35
Coach is slowly rotating some subs in on offense. We are shut down, not able to generate a first down. However, we are eating a lot of clock.
Arkansas rallys a little bit, their QB has that gleem, a determined look in his eye.
He nails a 46 yard TD pass against some of our back ups. They try going for 2 and do not convert it.
Arkansas 19 Georgia 35
Coach still isn't worried as we are now keeping our full back ups in. Arkansas holds our clock eating offense to 7 plays, and we punt it.
They respond against our 2nd teamers, this time, a long scramble by their QB set up a 9 yard TD run. Again, they go for 2, failing to convert.
Arkansas 25 Georgia 35
Coach is furious, he is in the face of several of the 2nd teamers letting them have it. He sends out the 1st team again. However, the first teamers are cold now, and they are looking like it is the start of a game, and are promptly shut down.
As we stroll back on the field, you can see a glimmer of hope in the Arkansas players eyes, we let them think they can get back in, and they are hungry.
Their QB sprints up the middle for a big gain. He then runs a play action, where I think the entire stadium, and city bit on it. He went over the top, and hit their receiver for a 46 yard TD.
Arkansas 32 Georgia 35
With 2 minutes left in the game, all we have to do is grab a first down. Our offense was not able to do it. So we come out for the punt.
The punt is a solid booming kick, and we down the ball on their 5 yard line. A quick pass by their QB to their TE, gains 9 yards. We are playing a semi prevent defense, blitzing and extra backer. Their QB bobbles the snap, spins away from a defender, and rolls to the left. He sees his TE get behind Blue, and launches it. I watch the ball go over my head, see Blues reaction, and realized we are screwed. Their TE takes the ball, and out races everyone into the end zone for the 86 yard TD reception and the lead. It also leaves us with only 30 seconds on the clock.
Arkansas 39 Georgia 35
We have all 3 time outs left. Coach huddles us up before the kick off, the air has been taken out of the stadium, and this team. Arkansas is whooping and hollering on their side line, they have this game in the bag.
Coach encourages us to step up, prove to the world that we are here to win.
With the kick off, Thomas Brown take it up the right side to the 40 yard line. We have about 20 seconds left.
Joe hands off to Danny Wade, and he scampers up the field, and we call a time out.
15 seconds left in the game. Joe takes the snap, and drops back. He catches Bryan McClendon slipping his coverage, and launches it. Bryan snags the ball out of the air, side stepping his pursuer and ends up scampering into the end zone for the 47 yard TD.
We erupt on the sideline, Joe is standing on the field with his arms raised in the air, and Bryan is laying on his back in the end zone amazed. The roar of the stadium is at a deafening roar now. There is 10 seconds left on the clock and Arkansas has 1 timeout left.
Arkansas 39 Georgia 42
The kick off is deep, and they bring it out,and are smashed on the 25 yard line.
6 seconds left, they drop back and hit their TE across the middle, and he is leveled by Blue. Arkansas then calls the time out.
1 second left in the game. Their QB Drops back, looks to his left, nothing, side steps a DL and sprints to his right a bit, and launches the ball. Their WR goes up, it looks like he is climbing a ladder, and he hauls it in. Our DB stumbles over his legs.
Their receiver takes it, he is on the 30. Blue is taking an angle, as their WR is on the 20, it doesn't look like Blue will get there. He is on the 10, and Blue looks like he is just a step behind, and that he took the wrong angle. He is on the 5. Blue leaps, and grabs an ankle, holding on for life, and their WR falls on the 1 yard line as the clock is expired.
We mob Blue on the ground, just flat out mob him. We were lucky he has his speed, and I definately hope, we never, ever, play another game like this again. I don't know if our coach will ever recover from this one.
Final Score
Arkansas 39 Georgia 42

Week 10
#17 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gifat #8 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Florida.gif
Wow, what a crazy atmosphere this week has turned into. I was informed by no less than 30 different people how important this game is.
My parents have now moved out to Atlanta, my Dad was able to get on with a local company, and before anyone asks, no booster involvement.
1st Quarter
Urban Meyer welcomes us to Urban ball right off the bat, as he lets us know that Tim Jennings is our weakness. We are torched for a 78 yd TD pass.
Georgia 0 Florida 7
However, we are prepared, and haven't used our FB's a lot lately, and we decide to in this drive to let them know we have scouted them out as well. We march down the field using a few HB dives, a deep ball to Brannan Southerland, and then hand it off to him from 9 yard out and allow the big guy to rumble into the end zone.
Georgia 7 Florida 7
We shut down the Florida offense, and start our drive. Joe was rushed, and he threw the ball off of his back foot, allowing for an INT.
Florida is able to stay within field goal range as we don't allow them to generate a first down.
They end up kicking a 31 yard FG.
Georgia 7 Florida 10
2nd Quarter
We get the ball back on the kick off and start driving down the field. Joe catches Sean tearing off down the field and lofts one to the end zone. Florida's impact Free Saftey slides in front of the ball, right before Sean was going to snag it for the INT.
Florida starts their march down the field, and it is ended abruptly as Demario Minter steps in front of a pass, and gets the INT. He is brought down close to the 50.
The next play was a play action pass, where we were faking the dive, and Joe was supposed to look for Leonard Pope on the out route. But what ended up happening is the blitz came in, and their DE slammed into Joe, he was crumpled and writhing on the ground a bit. The trainers helped him off the field. We stalled a bit, and then ended up punting it.
On Florida's posession, 2nd and about 6, I come on a blitz from the outside, and end up getting the Tackle for a loss. on 3rd and long, they go deep, after Tim Jennings again, and complete the pass, and the receiver is able to side step Blue, and take it to the End Zone. a 50 yard TD reception.
Georgia 7 Florida 17
The next series, we end up marching down the field, with Danny Wade carrying the bulk of the offense on his back, he rips off some great runs.
Joe then catches their CB napping in his zone, and launches one that Bryan McClendon ends up bringing down, and is able to jaunt 33 yards for a TD.
Georgia 14 Florida 17
We end up trading punches, back and forth with Blue getting an INT, and Joe reciprocating by giving one up right at the end of the half as we try for a deep one in the end zone.
3rd Quarter
We get the ball, and Joe was rushed with the Play action, and made a stupid throw. Their SS picked him off and took it to the house from 18 yards out.
Georgia 14 Florida 24
We lean on Danny Wade again, until they stuff him. Joe then takes a deep one to Sean Bailey for a 30 yard TD.
Georgia 21 Florida 24
We shut down the Florida offense, and get the ball back. Our offense starts to churn and move the ball. Again, a hurried throw by Joe, ends up getting picked off.
Flordia then proceeds to move on us a little, but then they go over the top on Tim, and complete a 20 yard TD reception.
Georgia 21 Florida 31
After a solid kick return by Thomas Brown, we turn it on. Marching down the field switching it up between Danny and Thomas in the backfield. Eventually, we are slowed down, and just when we were close to stalling out, Joe sends another TD pass to Bryan McClendon from 25 yards out.
Georgia 28 Florida 31
The next series, Florida is moving the ball on us. We can tell, they did not expect the dog fight we were giving them.
Eventually, their QB getting knocked around makes another mistake. This time, a 2nd INT to Demario Minter.
4th Quarter
We are unable to convert anything off of Demario's interception, and the rest of the quarter turns into a slug fest. Joe throws an interception and I am able to mop up with a sack as time expires.
Final

Week 11 is a bye for us. We are prepping for Auburn next week.
Sean is still getting touted for Heisman Hype, and I am starting to come into my own, as teams are double teaming me on the blitz and I am able to work into passing lanes and break up some passes.
My final stats from last weeks game were 5 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 1 sack.

Week 12
#7http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Auburn.gifat #14http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
We moved up in the rankings despite losing our last game. Part of it was due to the way we played the 3rd ranked team in the nation. It also had to do with several teams below us losing as well.
Auburn comes in boasting the top ranked offense in the nation, and come to find out, our offense is ranked 6th.
The game is going to be sloppy as we have had a torrential downpour all day long.
1st Quarter
Auburns offense isn't as hot as everyone thinks they are. It appears to be about execution, and getting to where you need to. And we blow that up pretty quickly. We had some locker room material from Auburn as they said they will torch us in this game.
The move the ball in bits and spurts until we finally hold. They end up kicking a 37 yard FG.
Auburn 3 Georgia 0
Sean is laughing on the sidelines, our game films revealed the corner he will be going up against is a tad slow, and a bit shorter than he is.
Joe immediately audibles into a pass, and they go deep, 79 yards to Sean, for the TD.
Auburn 3 Georgia 7
The very next series, Auburn's QB is trying to run an option when he is blown up by Quentin Moses and fumbles the ball.
The piss poor thing is, we were not able to capitalize on it, as Andy misses the 32 yd FG.
Auburn tries a run up the middle, and someone slaps the ball out of the backs hands and we jump on it. Again, we are not able to convert on it.
While we were on the sideline, coach has noticed something, and we go out to the field. We shift our defensive line to my side, and I am called to blitz from the outside.
I do, untouched, and rock their QB with the sack.
2nd Quarter
We beat them up a bit more, they punt it. We are not able to generate much on offense, and punt the ball. Sean ends up touching it down at the 4 yd line.
Auburn works it out a bit, but then they try a play they have been working at all game, and that is the QB Screen. I read it, and step back between the back and the QB and pick the ball in the middle of the air. It's a foot race between myself and the qb. I end up winning, and taking this one into the end zone from 15 yards out.
Auburn 3 Georgia 14
You can tell that Auburn is rattled, we were the same way against Tennessee. And the very next play, after the kickoff, I blitz from the outside, smothering their QB again. He is moaning a bit as I climb up off of him, laughing the entire time.
The next play, they run an option to my side, I step in and blow their QB up just as he pitches the ball, it forces the pitch to miss the back.
Tony Taylor scoops the ball up and rumbles into the end zone for the score. The recovery was from about 12 yards out.
Auburn 3 Georgia 21
You could tell their QB was rattled, I don't think they have been in a fight like this. The next play, Blue picked off their QB, it was pretty deep.
Although, we were unable to take advantage of the Auburn generosity.
Their next series, as the half was coming to a close, I was able to end it for them with a bang, catching their QB from the blindside on another blitz.
3rd Quarter
The 3rd quarte could only be defined as total defensive domination from both teams.
We witnessed Tra Battle step in front of a pass and pick it off, and I was able to manage a sack and force a FG which Auburn missed from 35 yards out.
4th Quarter
Joe starts it out by throwing an interception. We were able to stop their next drive by punching the ball out of their TE's hands.
This enabled us to move the ball and get within FG range. Andy was able to put the 25 yard kick through the uprights.
Auburn 3 Georgia 24
Auburn managed a decent kick return and was able to generate a drive, but a hurried QB made a bad throw across the middle that Danny Wheeler Verdun stepped in front of and grabbed it.
Joe audibled the next play because he thought he saw a blitz coming in from where the run was going. Needless to say, he rushed the pass, and was promptly picked off.
A few slugouts happened, until the final seconds of the game, where I was set as a spy on the QB.
He kept rolling to my side, where I am to rush him, and either force the throw or get the sack.
I was able to tag him and bag him twice to finish the game out.

With the season pretty much winding down, we have 2 games left. They are against Kentucky and Georgia Tech.
We have managed to lose to the #1, #2, and #3 teams this season, if we were going to lose, it might as well be to the best.
As for the Auburn game, I ended up getting the Player of the Game award.
My stats for the game were 9 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, 1 INT, 1 TD.
Not bad for a freshman, it's crazy seeing your face in the paper, and people asking you about the game constantly, I have not been able to travel around campus without them bugging me or my girl.

As far as Madden, I do not think so, I have yet to purchase the game, and honestly, I am not that big of a Madden fan. I like the college game.

Right now, we are ranked 12th in BCS, but I can not find any Bowl Projections....
Boise State is also the only Undefeated team in the nation and Ranked #1.

Week 13
http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Kentucky.gifat #10 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
1st Quarter
Kentucky is sitting basically dead last and should be an easy win for us, but remember what happened to us thinking easy wins at the start of the season. The other issue, is the rain has been coming down all day long.
The first quarter starts out nice, some solid shots to the each others jaws, and then we open it up, with Blitz and stunts.
I come around from the outside on a 3rd and about 7 play and rack up a sack.
After a semi-decent punt return, we start moving down the field, and eventualy Danny Wade punches it in from the 1 yd line.
Kentucky 0 Georgia 7
Kentucky comes right back out and attacks, getting Blue to bite, and then goes over the top for a 49 yard TD.
Kentucky 7 Georgia 7
As the clock winds down in towards the end of the 1st quarter I am able to blitz through a gap in the middle, and rack another sack up.
2nd Quarter
Following a punt, we generate another solid drive with Joe hooking up with Sean Bailey deep on one play, setting up the 4 yard TD run from Danny Wade.
Kentucky 7 Georgia 14
The next series, as Kentucky is starting a semblence of a drive, there is a collision between Quentin Moses and their QB...and their QB is helped off the field. We were able to stall them, but they were still in FG range and managed to kick a 23 yard FG.
Kentucky 10 Georgia 14
The first play, following the kick return. It is a run up the left side by Danny Wade. He was able to juke their LB and mowed over their corner. Not one of those little corner roll over, but a full blown collision that knocked their corner senseless. He proceeded to cut back on their Saftey and finish the 78 yard TD run at a slow jog into the end zone.
This run was reported now as the longest run in Georgia History.
Kentucky 10 Georgia 21
Kentucky starts to pick us a part, nothing fancy, just hit the open man in the zone, or get the mismatch. Eventually, they are at our 10 yard line, and it is 3rd down. They snap it, and their QB drops back, he lets it rip across the middle, but Tony Taylor comes from the left side of the field and rips the ball from the sky. He proceeds to rumble down the field getting the blocking he needed on their faster guys. Tony gets a 95 yard INT Return for a TD, the longest ever in Georgia history. Andy Bailey misses the extra point. He slipped on the mud as he was trying the kick.
Kentucky 10 Georgia 27
Kentucky is on their ear now, they do not know what is coming on defense as coach is mixing up the formations and stunts now. Tim Jennings ends up getting an INT.
We then proceed to move the ball down the field with Andy missing a 28 yard FG with time expiring.
3rd Quarter
We try to generate something, but Kentucky ends up getting the INT on our side of the field. A few select pass plays later, and they end up punching it in the end zone from the 1 yard line.
Kentucky 17 - Georgia 27
Following the return, Joe takes a solid shot as he is releasing the ball, and he is down. He landed on his shoulder awkward. Trainers haul him off the field and rush him into the locker room.
We are now down to our 3rd String QB, Red Shirt Freshman Blake Barnes. Our back up after that is a myriad of WR's that think they can play.
Blake fumbles the hand off, and Kentucky recovers.
Unable to do anything after the fumble recovery, Kentucky punts the ball. We receive the return and generate several yards from it. But after being stuffed for 2 plays, Blake Barnes goes over the top and hits Sean Bailey in stride as he glides into the end zone. This one was a 57 yard TD reception.
Kentucky 17 Georgia 34
Time eventually stalls out on the quarter as Kentucky is starting to generate a drive.
4th Quarter
As they cross the 50, I am sent on an outside blitz, and end up getting my 3rd sack of the game.
This sets them up for a 3rd and long situation. They line up in shotgun, and whip the ball across the middle. Tony Taylor is there again, as he brings the ball down, he breaks to the outside, and down the field, I think he caught the entire offense unaware as the only person that even attempted to stop him was their HB. He ran this one into the end zone from 60 yards out. Man is he on fire today or what!
Kentucky 17 Georgia 41
Kentucky generates a great, and impressive drive that is finalized with a TD pass from 10 yards. They are also able to convert the 2 points.
Kentucky 25 Georgia 41
Blake has a little more speed than Joe, so coach tries an option play with him.
Blake ends up getting his bell rung pretty hard in the play. Even though we were able to generate some yards. Not enough for the 1st down, but enough to keep us in FG range.
Andy Bailey is able to boot this one through from 45 yards out.
Kentucky 25 Georgia 44
Coach is on the sideline freaking out, Blake doesn't know where he is at, he was just informed Joe is out for 4 weeks. So he calls Sean Bailey over, and they start going over cadence, snap count, and play calls. Sean rips the QB wrist band off of Blake, and starts taking practice snaps with the Center.
Man this guy is impressive.
As Kentucky is moving the ball down the field we are able to slow them down. With a 2nd and 6, I am able to get through the end and to the QB racking up my 4th sack of the day.
Tony Taylor follows that up on the 3rd and long play with his 3rd interception of the day.
Then out comes the offense, being led by Sean Bailey, the crowd is going crazy. This place is rocking, our Heisman hopeful this season is leading our team out there. And lead he does. He is one of the fast guys I have ever seen run the option. He is out to the end before the defense is able to react. He helps the team march down the field like crazy, using the option the entire way.
Eventually, he sets it up for Danny Wade. Danny takes the option pitch and is able to stride into the end zone from 6 yards.
Kentucky 25 - Georgia 51
With less than a minute remaining and coaching wanting to send a statement, he blitzes the front 7, and I end up getting my 5th sack of the game as time expires.
Final Score
Kentucky 25 - Georgia 51

Not a bad overall week.
My final stats for the game were
7 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 5 sacks
The crazy thing was Tony Taylor, his INT stats looked like a WR's as he made 3 INT's for 158 yards and 2 TD's.
We also received our first commitment for the season.
a 4 star DT from North Chicago. His name is Deonne Williams. The kid looks good, I met him after the game. He is about 6'3" and 295 pounds. He should be a solid addition to our DL.
Also, whispering from the Bowl World has us more than likely slated to participate in the Outback Bowl. But that all depends on how we play against Georgia Tech and the news there is not good. With D.J. and Joe out in the QB position, we are relying on Blake Barnes to lead us in one of the most heated games out there.

Week 14
#10 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gifat #22 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia_Tech.gif
Wow, this state is crazy about this game. I thought the BYU - Utah rivalry from home was nuts, they have nothing compared to this. Again, another torrential downpour is looking to make this a messy game.
1st Quarter
Georgia Tech comes right out after us, attacking us in the air, and using it to set up the run game. Eventually, they run it in from 4 yards out.
Georgia 0 Georgia Tech 7
a couple of rough drives by both teams ensue, and then Tony Taylor ends up picking of Georgia Tech's QB.
However, we promptly turn it over on a bobbled exchange between Blake and Danny.
Tech takes advantage of the fumble and they are able to run it in from 29 yards out.
Georgia 0 Georgia Tech 14
Several series goes by, and we are able to recover a fumble just as the quarter comes to a close.
2nd Quarter
We were able to generate a little offense but not much, and Andy Bailey was able to come in and nail a 44 yd FG.
Georgia 3 Georgia Tech 14
Tech answered right back driving down the field, and racking up another score, this time from 1 yard out.
Georgia 3 Georgia Tech 21
Tech recovered another fumble, as time was winding down, but a blitz from the outside, and my collision with their QB left him with a sore leg at the end of the half.
3rd Quarter
Opening the quarter up, we were driving the ball down the field well, but 2 sacks put us deep in Tech territory.
Andy lines up a 51 yard FG, and he is able to slice it through the uprights in the rain. What an amazing kick.
Georgia 6 Georgia Tech 21
Wearing the defense down isn't that hard to do, especially when our offense isn't generating anything. Tech is taking advantage of it. This time by the account of a 70 yard rushing TD.
Georgia 6 Georgia Tech 28
We are able to generate some offense, and eventually Danny is able to carry one in from 16 yards out. We attempt to go for 2, and we fail, miserably.
Georgia 12 Georgia Tech 28
The defense comes out refreshed, and a little pumped, and we are able to knock their RB around, and force a fumble that we recover. The very next play Blake is injured.
Sean comes out immediately, and starts to lead the offense down the field. Eventually he takes it in from 18 yards out on an option.
Georgia 19 Georgia Tech 28
We thought we were churning something, but a quick 3 and out, and a heavy dose of a ground game by Tech hurt us. They ended up taking one in from 56 yard out, on the ground.
Georgia 19 Georgia Tech 36
Sean comes out, and is leading the offense down the field, but he is finally forced to audible to a pass where he promptly throws an INT.
Tech takes advantage of it, and marches the ball down the field and hits a 22 yard pass for the TD.
Georgia 19 Georgia Tech 43
Tech then proceeds to recover a bobled exchange between Sean and Danny.
The very next play, they hit a 23 yard pass for a TD as time expires.
Georgia 19 Georgia Tech 50
4th Quarter
And just like that, we are all but out of the game. It was amazing the momentum swing that hit the team with this.
Sean is still out there, leading the team, and he eventually is able to find A.J Bryant from 18 yards out.
Georgia 26 Georgia Tech 50
Tech continues to move the ball on us, down the field, run, run, pass, pass, run, run, and honestly, there was a time I didn't know what to expect, and they caught us flat footed.
Anyways, they managed another score. This time a 2 yard pop up the middle.
Georgia 26 Georgia Tech 57
A quick 3 and out, let Tony Taylor do his defensive thing, and that was another INT against this offense. To bad ours was not able to do anything with it.
And to add insult to injury, Tech went for a FG from 40 yards out, and managed to make it as time expired.
Final Score
Georgia 26 Georgia Tech 60

Wow, we received a serious ass kicking by Georgia Tech, but I figured it was on it's way with us being down to one true QB. Sean is a great guy, but there is only so much he can do.
My final stats from last game sucked. 3 tackles, 1 tackle for loss.
However, we were able to name another 4 star recruit. A free saftey from Cliffside Park, New Jersey.

A bright sunny day in Tampa Bay with a sell out crowd helps me realize that for the next 4 years I do not want to celebrate New Years Eve outside of playing football. This atmosphere is wild. The girls here are hot, in fact, I have met a girl that is an incoming freshman next year, she is definately on my list of follow ups.
Ohio State has a potent WR that we must control or attempt to contain. We are not that concerned with their running game.
However, one major plus for this game, we have ALL of our QB's back. That's right, D.J. will be joining and starting this game. Joe has seemed to take it ok, I have talked with him a bit about it. He has said, D.J is gone after this year, and I will take the reigns, people know I can win, I just need to prove it again.
1st Quarter
The first quarter is pretty much a stalemate as we are feeling each other out, and just trying to get a gauge of how the other team is.
The only score was a result of a 38 yard OSU FG.
Georgia 0 Ohio State 3
2nd Quarter
We closed out the first quarter with us generating a solid drive. OSU is having a rough time playing against D.J. he hads that element of scrambling, and the ability to tuck the ball and run.
A couple of scrambles by D.J. forces the defense honest and we begin our attack.
Danny Wade takes a TD in from the 1 yard line.
Georgia 7 Ohio State 3
A quick 3 and out sets us up for a quick score, and D.J. uses their honesty to his advantage. He is able to hit Sean Bailey in stride from 44 yards out for the score.
Georgia 14 Ohio State 3
Ohio counters on 3rd down of the next series as they go after Demario Minter. They connect for a 71 yard TD Pass.
Georgia 14 Ohio State 10
On the sideline D.J. say the score and said he was not to be out done, and went right out. With 2 plays, he hits Bryan McClendon for a 70 yard TD strike.
They both come off the field laughing, knowing they could do it almost any time they wanted to.
Georgia 21 Ohio State 10
The next series, I am able to blitz from the outside. I come across, and crush their QB as he releases the ball. He goes down, I hear him grunt with the hit, and then he is moaning in pain underneath me.
I quickly get up. Their trainers are out on the field immediately. Looking at the jumbo screen, it doesn't look to bad, maybe a knee sprain, or something. But he does walk off the field on his own.
After they punt it, D.J. turns around and throws an INT. But the defense stiffens and Blue gets an INT. We were unable to generate much of an offense and were forced to punt.
Tony Taylor steps up next series and gets another INT. Our offense was not able to generate much and was forced to punt with time winding down. I was able to close out the half with a sack.
Georgia 21 Ohio State 10
3rd Quarter
The 3rd turns into OSU's little party. They stuffed us most of the quarter, and moved the ball pretty much when they wanted.
Towards the end, they were able to connect up, and get another long distance TD. This one from 58 yards out in the air.
Georgia 21 Ohio State 17
As we were driving down the field, looking like we were going to get another TD. D.J. threw an INT into the End Zone. ending the quarter.
4th Quarter
We were able to shut down OSU after the end zone interception. Following the punt return, D.J. leads the offense down the field, and he hooks up with Sean Bailey again from 37 yards out.
Georgia 28 Ohio State 17
OSU has to quickly counter, and we knew they would, however there wasn't much Tim Jennings and Blue could do. They both blew their assignments and were put out of position. 63 yards later, the OSU WR is jogging into the end zone. OSU is also able to convert the 2 points.
Georgia 28 Ohio State 25
D.J. is ranting and going off on the offense on the sideline, he is challanging them, to take it up a notch, to push it, to finish this one with a win.
The offense takes him to heart as they move the ball down the field without much effort. Brannan Southerland punches one in from the 1 yard line.
Georgia 35 Ohio State 25
OSU generates their own drive, with 2 lucky 3rd down plays to keep them alive including a stupid PI penalty on Demario.
OSU runs the score in from the 8 yard line.
Georgia 35 Ohio State 32
With less than a two minutes remaining, D.J. takes the ball and generates a drive, eating the clock, and getting within scoring range. He wants to pass the ball, and drops back, he looks left, he looks right, and he tucks it and runs to the right, he is pushing for the end zone, and he leaps, and is leveled at the 1 yard line by their LB. a nice 23 yard run.
Coach calls the time out. Not much of a secret here on what we are going to do. We send the jumbo line up out, and D.J. just gives the ball to Brannan who punches it in again, from 1 yard out. With 10 seconds left, the game is ours.
Georgia 42 Ohio State 32
3 failed pass plays later, the final seconds tick off and we are winners of the Outback Bowl.
D.J. is awarded the MVP of the game, which he thoroughly deserved. Hopefully he is able to land in the NFL next year.
FINAL SCORE
Georgia 42 Ohio State 32

My final states for the game was 4 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 sack.
We head for Georgia, somewhat satisfied with our season. The what if pundits will emerge now though.

Thanks, I know 19 sacks is a little much, but I started blitzing myself more when I realized my speed could be used a lot from the outside. And it's one sure way to get myself into the Heisman running.

Yeah, I would have done it too. I mean: you play on D, you gotta pump up the stats!!! ;)
Also, I think it makes defense more fun to play if you have your player.
Goal for sophomore season??? 25??? I think with that number you could compete for the Bednarik... BTW, were you Freshman All-American???

I forgot to check out if I was Freshman All-American. Thats one thing I should have looked at.
Goal for next season is around 25 sacks, if I can get that many, it will get me into Heisman contention, however, I want to pull of what Tony Taylor did and avg close to an INT a game.

As we finish two-a-days and the season ramps up, a lot of the preview mags have listed TE Leonard Pope and Myself as the impact players on the team.
Pope was stated as a go to guy across the middle, someone willing to go up, and get the ball, and not worry about the hit.
The pub on me has been about my speed from the outside and the ability to shut down anyone I cover.
Kind of high praise for a Sophmore LB at Georgia.

Week 2
http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Central_Florida.gifat #15 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
Coach reminded those of us returning of the hammering we took from Boise State as well as Louisiana-Monroe, granted we beat ULM, we still had to come from behind to do it. We will not count this team out.
1st Quarter
Staying true to form, UCF comes out to see if they can challange us in the air, and they are able to, as they cap their drive in 3 plays, with an 81 yard TD Reception
UCF 7 Georgia 0
Joe was unable to get anything going with our offense, and the quick 3 and out came.
The very next play, CB Thomas Flowers gets an INT, and takes it to the end zone, out racing everyone on the offense the 39 yards.
UCF 7 Georgia 7
The next series, I am able to blitz from the outside and smash the QB for the sack, he knew I was there, just wasn't much he could do about it. My sack was able to end the drive and force the punt.
One player that caught us by wildfire in camp was running back Kregg Lumpkin, who managed to get the start ahead of Danny Wade. But what does one team do when they have a returning 1500 yard rusher as a backup?
Run the hell out of everyone, and that is what coach did, it was pound the ball with Kregg until he was tired, then follow up with Danny. Our offense did this down the entire field, only attempting and completing one pass. Eventually Kregg was able to score from 2 yards out on the ground.
UCF 7 Georgia 14
The next series, I was able to crash down on their back in the back field forcing a 3rd and long situation which UCF was not able to convert. They punted.
Our next series offensively, wasn't the greatest, but it was due to a couple of sacks that put us to deep to effectively use the run.
UCF started their drive, and kept pushing us back, eventually, they tried to attack us in the end zone towards the end of the quarter, however Paul Oliver was there, and he managed to get the INT.
2nd Quarter
Again, our offense was not able to generate much, and we were forced to punt it after about 6 plays.
UCF picked up where they left off last quarter, but coach started hiding his coverages, and sending blitzes and stunts from the inside, dropping me into coverage. I was able to drop into my zone, and haul in the INT and dash towards the end zone, eventually outrunning the offense, and taking a final shot as I crossed the goal line. This one was a 42 yard INT return for the TD.
UCF 7 Georgia 21
The next series, we are able to stuff the UCF offense including a sack by me again. This time it was an inside stunt, and the QB stepped up to avoid the outside rush he thought was coming.
After a dismal offensive series, we were forced to punt, however, fate or luck was on our side. The UCF return man muffed the punt on the 5 yard line, and the ball was battered around a bit eventually rolling into the end zone where Brannan Southerland landed on it scoring a special teams TD for us.
UCF 7 Georgia 28
I don't know what happened on their sideline but UCF came out pissed off the next series, scoring quickly with a 68 yard TD Strike.
UCF 14 Georgia 28
This was followed up by their defense just laying some serious shots on our offense. One cause Danny Wade to fumble the ball, which was pounced upon by a UCF defensive lineman.
They were not able to churn much offensively, but managed enough to get into FG range. They were able to boot one from 48 yards out.
UCF 17 Georgia 28
Another session of poundings and a fumble recovery by UCF highlighted our next series offensively.
since UCF only had to take it 23 yards, they pretty much pounded it out against us to the right side, away from me. And ended this drive with a 1 yard TD Run
UCF 24 Georgia 28
Joe was furious at the backs and receivers and let them know about it, in fact, he told them that if they did not start hanging onto the ball, he would ask coach to bring in some of the lower end guys. Guys he knows will do everything in their power to hold onto and catch the ball.
His little talk worked as he was able to hook up with Bryan McClendon for a 68 yard TD.
UCF 24 Georgia 35
Stopping UCF next series, we got the ball back for our offense. As the final seconds ticked away at the half, Andy Bailey missed a 47 yard FG.
3rd Quarter
UCF came out attacking, and running the exact same play as they did to make their initial TD, they caught us napping, and was able to rack up another deep pass TD, this one from 65 yards out.
UCF 31 Georgia 35
We were able to force a fumble eventually, and then follow it up by pounding the ball down the field.
Our offense did stall out, but Andy Bailey managed the 20 yard FG.
UCF 31 Georgia 38
4th Quarter
Going into the 4th, Kregg was wore out, he had managed to rush for close to 200 yards. So coach sent Danny in.
Following another Thomas Flowers interception, Danny was able to take one in from a yard out.
UCF 31 Georgia 45
Then a couple of drives later, Danny followed his last score from 6 yards out, making sure this game was put out of reach.
UCF 31 Georgia 52
Coach then slowly started sending in the subs to get every one a chance to play.

Not a bad game, but we were a little upset the UCF was able to rack up 31 points on us. But we definately are gambling a lot on the defensive side of the ball, that is leaving us exposed in some areas.
I recieved Player of the Game honors, and when I read my stats, I was shocked.
7 Tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 1 INT for 42 yards, 1 TD, and 2 Pass Deflections.
If I can average 2 sacks a game that is placing me at 22 sacks for the season, I have a goal of 25. I am also now, 4 INT's short of my goal there for the season too.
Next up, FIU.

Week 3
#14 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gifat FIU
Another week, another opponent with push over potential. Coaches reminded us that UCF gave us a run for our money. One major ouch for us is the suspension of Danny Verdun Wheeler for violation of team rules. Honestly, the guy has to keep his head screwed on straight, he has a future here, and on top of that, we play well together.
1st Quarter
We start off the game, pretty much proving to FIU that we were going to kick their ass all game long.
On our 3rd play, we go over the top, and Joe connects with A.J. Bryant, who hauls down a 50 yard pass, however, as he is trying to gain extra yardage he fumbles the ball, and FIU recovers.
On 2nd down in their series, Paul Oliver hauls down an errant pass (INT) and takes it 61 yards to paydirt.
Georgia 7 FIU 0
The next series, FIU's QB is so rattled he turns around and throws another interception, this one to Jarvis Jackson our MLB.
A solid ground game sets up the 10 yard TD run by Kregg Lumpkin.
Georgia 14 FIU 0
a quick 3 and out forces the punt. Our offense starts to drive down field again, FIU is rocked back, as we have a solid mixture of playcalling on the field. Eventually Joe connects up with TE Martrez Milner on an 8 yd TD pass
Georgia 21 FIU 0
The very next series, on a 3rd down play, I come in on a quick blitz from the outside and sack the QB, he wanted to throw it, but had no one to dump it off to.
On the ensuing punt return, it is kicked short, and Demiko Goodman takes the punt and is able to out run the entire FIU punt team down the left side of the field for a 40 yard return and touchdown. Andy Bailey's head is no where to be found as he shanks the extra point attempt.
Georgia 27 FIU 0
On the very next series, coach sends me in from the outside again, this time, I wrap the QB, swatting the ball out of his arm, not only do I get the sack, but I also forced the fumble and we promptly dive on it.
We finish out the quarter, with a down left in our series.
2nd Quarter
We were not able to do much offensively, and we are now seeing the effect of not having D.J. or someone like him on offense. We eventually punt the ball, pinning FIU deep on their side of the field.
The churn some yardage out, but they are forced to punt. Bring on Demiko Goodman again. This time, it was a few broken tackles and a couple of bounces to the outside finally sprung him free as he raced 70 yards for his second special teams TD of the day.
Georgia 34 FIU 0
With the quarter almost over we are able to put together a solid drive and punch the ball in from 13 yards out. Kregg Lumpkin was the man again, as he gets his second rushing TD for the day.
Georgia 41 FIU 0
This is followed up by a blown play, where I am able to get my 3rd sack of the day.
3rd Quarter
Coach has pretty much decided to call of the dogs and stated he will start rotating people in and out in the second half, he wants to give a lot of people some playing time.
FIU on the other hand, came out fighting, and were able to cap their first drive of the second half off, with a 27 yard FG.
Georgia 41 FIU 3
The next series, they force a fumble, and obviously, FIU wants to attempt to make this a game. They cap their next series off with a 20 yard FG.
Georgia 41 FIU 6
Coach is a little bugged by their attitude, and starts to call on the offense to pound and pass their way into the end zone, and the offense promptly responds. Blake Barnes hits WR Bain in stride for a 44 yard TD.
Georgia 48 FIU 6
FIU responds, pushing the ball down the field, and eventually scoring on us with a 10 yard TD pass.
Georgia 48 FIU 13
4th Quarter
All starters are now officially out, coach kept me in through most of the 3rd quarter, just to ensure the game is out of reach.
After a stalled series, FIU comes out, on their first play, and takes it deep on us, 68 yards to be exact.
Georgia 48 FIU 20
Another failed series by our offense leads into another score for FIU, as they are able to pass it on us, and eventually, punch it in from the 1 yd line
Georgia 48 FIU 27
Eventually, our offense was able to generate some semblance of a drive, and we are able to put a 32 yard FG in.
Georgia 51 FIU 27
Some hard hitting plays that left the FIU QB injured and return man Demiko Goodman injured, FIU caps the game with a 28 yard TD pass.
Georgia 51 FIU 35

Week 5
#1 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Tennessee.gifat #9http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
A few of us were pretty upset at the pounding we took by this team last year, and it hurt us bad. We want retribution, and we want it now. This is the 2nd and last game of Danny Verdun Wheelers suspension.
Lee Corso and gang think we are going to get whipped up on.
1st Quarter
The game is pretty much a chess match right off the bat, but eventually Tennessee is able to move the ball a little on us. No touchdown, however they have to settle for a 47 yard FG.
Tennessee 3 Georgia 0
We start our drive, and end up in the red zone where Joe throws an interception in the end zone, ending our chances for a TD and the lead right then and there.
Tennessee tries to attack deep on us several times in the drive, some with success, several incompletes, but the one that stung their QB was the leaping grab by FS Kelin Johnson.
Our offensive series was shut down, and we punted. It was a nice long punt that pinned them down inside their 10. A 3rd and long PI call on me kept the drive alive, and they barely made it into FG range. I say barely, because their kicker just made a 57 yard FG.
Tennessee 6 Georgia 0
2nd Quarter
The 2nd quarter was a lot of smash mouth football and tough defensive play. Joe ended up throwing a deep interception, and Kelin Johnson ended up getting his 2nd for the day. However no one was able to add any point on the board in this quarter.
3rd Quarter
Tennessee came out on fire, we were pumped, and it was hard to imagine anyone with more energy than us, but they definately had it.
Joe throws his 3rd INT and Tennessee answers quickly with a 65 yd TD pass.
Tennessee 13 Georgia 0
On the ensuing drive, we manage to get ourselves within FG range, and we just can't convert the kick. Andy misses a 22 yard FG.
Tennessee takes advantage of the miss, and they march down and get within their kickers range again, and he boots a 52 yard FG.
Tennessee 16 Georgia 0
4th Quarter
For us, the game is still within reach, that is until Joe throws his 4th Interception of the game.
Tennessee takes the interception and answers fairly quick, generating a 28 yard TD by the air.
Tennessee 23 Georgia 0
After shutting down our offense again, Tennessee goes deep one more time, this one, for 40 yards.
Tennessee 30 Georgia 0
The game is nasty, we are all in there, tired and wore out, and coach switches up some starters.
He sends in the 3rd string QB Joe Cox(J.C) and 2nd HB Danny Wade. You could hear people muttering about Joe Cox being out there.
Pretty soon, people could see why. He had confidence, and was brimming with it, here we are down by 30, and he is running our offense effectively, and in no huddle at that, moving the ball down the field. He isn't as fast as D.J. but he provides that little spark of being able to pull it and run.
Eventually, we get into the end zone, and this is a 1 yard power by Danny Wade.
Tennessee 30 Georgia 7
Tennessee responds back, by going deep, and ending the drive with a 6 yard TD run.
Tennessee 37 Georgia 7
We then step up, and attack, with J.C. going to the air, hitting WR Bain in the end zone for a quick 24 yard strike. After an offsides call on the PAT, we are able to punch it in for 2.
Tennessee 37 Georgia 15
After getting an illegal procedure call, we turn around and snag the onsides kick. We then proceed to move the ball down the field very effectively, and Danny Wade takes the ball in from 4 yds out.
Tennessee 37 Georgia 22
We miss the onsides kick, but hold Tennessee and force the punt. We then move the ball down the field again. Danny Wade busts a run to the outside from 15 yards out and carries a couple of players into the end one with him. We attempt to go for 2, and we fail.
Tennessee 37 Georgia 28
With just over a minute left in the game, we need to recover an onside kick, get the quick score, and recover another onsides kick, and try for a FG. Sounds pretty easy doesn't it?
Anyways, we miss the onsides kick, and Tennessee kneels it out.
The players at the end of the game admitted they were spooked we were going to pull it off, they just could not stop Joe and Danny, it was a change up that we should have brought in at the 3rd quarter, not in the 4th when we were down by 30.
FINAL
Tennessee 37 Georgia 28

Not a bad game, although we should have had it. Tennessee has a powerful offense but their defense isn't that great. The only reason they are where they are is because they are able to outscore their opponents, not by large margins either, we are talking results of 9 points or less in differentials.
Anyways, my stats from the Tennessee game were:
5 Tackles, 2 tackles for loss.
They rolled away from me on my blitzes, and they were also able to get the ball off pretty quickly.
They only reason they threw the picks they did were because of pressure from me.

LOL! For me, I would have been talking to people like it really happened, freaking out!
Honestly, I do not know what possessed me to make the QB and RB change, but I did, and it was a major boon.
Now I am torn, do I make a move on the depth chart, keeping J.C. in at QB? Danny will be moving into the starting RB role.

Week 6
#12 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gifat http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Kentucky.gif
Rolling into the week, we are favorites to win this game, but whenever we appear to be the favorites, we tend to get our asses kicked and tested, so there is no way to know how this game will pan out.
J.C. will get the start due to his performance in the Tennessee game and Kregg has been declared an impact player on offense.
That gives us Pope at TE as an impact, Kregg at RB, and me at LB. Lets hope it all pans out, as Kregg has earned the spot over Danny.
1st Quarter
We are actually able to start out somewhat decent as we are the ones to strike first. We pounded the ball down the field, and Andy ended up hitting a 39 yard FG.
Georgia 3 Kentucky 0
Kentucky comes right back after us, working the ball down the field and eventually taking a pass from 30 yards out into the end zone.
Georgia 3 Kentucky 7
Meanwhile, we are giving Kentucky a heavy dose of Kregg in a no huddle offense and they are not liking it to much, as we are a few minutes away from the quarter ending and Kregg pounds one in from 6 yards out and manages to hit 100 yards rushing all in the 1st quarter.
Georgia 10 Kentucky 7
Again, Kentucky works on answering the score as they move the ball down the field and have us second guessing. On top of that, they are rolling and moving away from me, so I am not able to do to much. Kentucky eventually rings another TD up, this one from 39 yards by air.
Georgia 10 Kentucky 14
2nd Quarter
We are forced on a quick 3 and out. Kentucky then moves the ball downfield on us. We bend, but we do not break, and end up giving up a 49 yard FG.
Georgia 10 Kentucky 17
We are still force feeding them Kregg, and they still hate the taste. But we mix it up a bit and end up getting FB Southerland involved with some passing.
Eventually Kregg brings it home from the 1 yd line.
Georgia 17 Kentucky 17
The very next series on 2nd down, I blitz from the interior, and slip by the lineman, and crush their QB getting my first sack of the game.
The next play, a 3rd and long situation, they are forced to pass for the first down, and end up going deep, but FS Kelin Johnson is there to get the INT for us.
Time eventually expires to end the half.
3rd Quarter
We start working the ball down the field, and are able to do it quite well, until Kregg gets tired, then J.C. wasn't looking to hot. He seemed nervous, and Danny was pissed that he did not have any faith in him.
We end up settling for the FG attempt, and Andy Bailey misses it from 49 yards out.
Kentucky responds fairly quick, and moves the ball down the field. They finally cap the drive with a 43 yard FG.
Georgia 17 Kentucky 20
A quick 3 and out sets Kentucky up deep in their territory. On a 3rd and long situation, they end up slinging the pass over Johnsons head where their WR outruns the rest of the team into the End Zone. This one, was an 81 yard pitch and catch.
Georgia 17 Kentucky 27
I guess this is what you would call familiar turf for us. Our back is against the wall, and we are down by 2 scores.
J.C. starts laughing a bit, honestly, I do not think the kid is there. He runs out to the huddle, and they start churning a no huddle situation with this. Moving the ball down the field. J.C. finally spots an open A.J. Bryant and hits him in stride with time ticking down for the quarter. A.J. takes it in from 26 yards out.
Georgia 24 Kentucky 27
4th Quarter
We force the quick 3 and out, and are able to move the ball down the field. With just below 2 minutes left, J.C. hits A.J. again, in stride, to add another TD to our score. The touchdown was a 39 yard reception.
Georgia 31 Kentucky 27
We are quite happy, and all we have to do is hold Kentucky. Which we were not able to do. They grind the clock out, and manage to score on a 15 yard TD pass. Leaving a total of 30 seconds on the clock.
Georgia 31 Kentucky 34
Deja Vu all over again, except last time, the team on the other side was orange and white, not blue and white.
The Kick return was awesome. Demiko Goodman is living up to some serious pre season hype of on of the top return men in the nation. It leaves us with only 22 seconds to move the ball around 30 yards down field to set us up with the FG.
We are able to move, and we get ourselves in FG range. However, we feel we might want to take a shot with 10 seconds remains. J.C. drops back, and tries a pump fake, and is leveled by their defensive end.
We quickly call a time out, and bring our FG unit out. Andy has been spotty lately and we are hoping he isn't here. If he makes it, we tie it up, and go into overtime.
Andy sets up, and the snap flies back, he takes the steps, in perfect stride, and strikes the ball. It flies, end over end, and through the middle of the uprights with time expiring for a 45 yard FG.
Georgia 34 Kentucky 34
Overtime
We just give them a lot of Kregg, so much, they do not know what to do, it appears as if he is hitting them from all angles. And we score from the 1 yard line, attribute this one to Kregg.
Georgia 41 Kentucky 34
Kentucky has a chance to score, they get their 4 downs too. On their 1st play, they end up running for 8 yards. On the 2nd down, I blitz from the outside and catch their QB from the blindside, taking him down for the sack. I heard a crunch coming from his leg as we fell, and he starting to moan and yell a bit.
I quickly get up off of him, and he is writing in pain, his ankle is jutting at a weird angle, it does not look good.
With the new QB coming in cold, not expecting anything, they try for 2 solid strikes into the end zone, where we were able to swat them both down, and seal the win.

What a wild week, I felt bad, word on the net is that Kentucky's QB is done for the season with a broken ankle.
Some stats from the game though:
Avery Thomas
7 Tackles, 2 Tackles For Loss, 2 Sacks
Decent outing, and I am bumping up my sack total, which is helping me. I know my name is being gently whispered in the Heisman circles.
I had to look up how well Kregg did this game, and he was amazing. 253 yards rushing and 3 TD's, the guy was an absolute fiend on offense for us.

Week 7
http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Mississippi_St.gifat #11 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
Mississippi State comes in winless on the year, but they have some decent talent at the RB and QB level.
After last week, we need something to go our way, and we hope it is this game.
J.C. is still getting the start.
1st Quarter
We come out dominating the game. Moving down the field on our first drive, we finally stall out in FG area. However, Andy being his spotty self, ends up missing a 34 yard FG.
Jarvis Jackson picks off MSU on their next series at gets a decent return. This sets up the 2 yard TD run by Kregg Lumpkin
MSU 0 Georgia 7
MSU tries to answer back, and they almost do properly. However, we tightened up defensively in the red zone and forced them to kick the 19 yard FG.
MSU 3 Georgia 7
We respond following a solid kick return. A mixture of pass, run and play action sets up the 7 yard TD reception by TE Pope.
MSU 3 Georgia 14
2nd Quarter
We are able to start the second quarter out properly. With a sack by yours truly to force the punt.
After the punt, we start moving down the field, Kregg is rushing left, right, and up the middle, and we hit a few short routes. But it was a handoff to Kregg right up the middle that he breaks off. He turns it into a 25 yard TD run.
MSU 3 Georgia 21
Pretty much a demoralized team we are playing against now. I end up getting my 2nd sack of the game on the 1st down of their new series. However, they are able to convert the 3rd and short, and turn the drive into a 46 yard TD run.
MSU 10 Georgia 21
With time ticking out in the half, we drive down the field and make an attempt at trying to score, where J.C. throws an errant ball that is picked off. However, MSU is not able to do anything with the ball.
3rd Quarter
Defensively, we start out right where we left off. Shutting this offense down. I get my 3rd sack of the day, on an outside blitz, running down their QB from behind.
With the punt, we end up pounding the ball down the field while Kregg starts increasing his TD total. This one was an 11 yard scamper from the outside.
MSU 10 Georgia 28
On the next series, during the 2nd down, we gun it for the QB, sending 6 men after him. He didn't make the read, and honestly, did not see me coming. I crush the guy, seperating him from the ball, forcing the fumble which we recover.
J.C. turns around and attacks immediately on the first down, hitting TE Pope in the end zone from 19 yards out.
MSU 10 Georgia 35
4th Quarter
MSU is able to put together a solid drive and plant one from 6 yards out to try and close the gap in the score.
MSU 17 Georgia 35
We basically rotate our offense, bringing in the back ups to get them some PT.
Anyways, I rack a sack up, we are not able to generate any points. However, the game ticks away, and we end up winners

Week 8
http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Vanderbilt.gifat #10 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
Another cake team, hopefully we can work them over like we did MSU. J.C. has gotten the confidence of the coaching staff and fans. He is still learning, he will still make mistakes. But he has that intangible of leading this team, and having confidence not only in himself, but everyone around him.
1st Quarter
Vandy comes out and moves the ball on us at will, and they eventually score, a 25 yard TD run.
Vanderbilt 7 Georgia 0
The next series, J.C. fumbles the ball as he is sacked, where Vandy jumps on it and gets the recovery.
They then in turn, attack us immediately. Another TD run, this one from 58 yards out.
Vanderbilt 14 Georgia 0
Just like that we are down 14 points, and Vandy's running back has close to 100 yards rushing on us. And we still have some time left in the 1st quarter.
On the ensuing kick off, we return the ball to the 17. J.C. calls play, he notices one on one coverage in a man to man situation. He knows the play called is perfect. He takes the snap, fakes the hand off, and sets up, as Demiko Goodman is racing down the left sideline. He launches it. Demiko races to get under it, which he does. He takes it the rest of the way into the end zone.
Vanderbilt 14 Georgia 7
We force the 3 and out and Vandy punts. On the 1st play of our drive J.C. is running an option play where he mistimes his pitch, and puts the ball on the ground. Vandy jumps on it.
2nd Quarter
They start to move the ball on us. When 3rd and goal comes up, they drop back to pass and launch it over the middle. MLB Jarvis Jackson pulls it down on the goal line. He takes off, jukes a WR, and is finally brought down close to our 30 yard line.
Me move the ball a little bit, but J.C. catches a wide open A.J. Bryant and launches the ball. A.J. is able to get under it and out race the DB's to the endzone. This TD pass was from 61 yards out.
Vanderbilt 14 Georgia 14
Vandy moves the ball into FG range on their next possesion and ends up scoring on a FG from 30 yards out.
Vanderbilt 17 Georgia 14
We get a decent return, and then hit a quick short pass. On the next play, Kregg Lumpkin takes the hand off, and busts it to the outside, and out runs everyone after he mowed the CB over. He hauls this one into the end zone from 60 yards out.
Vanderbilt 17 Georgia 21
Vandy gets the ball, and starts moving down the field on us. Danny Verdun Wheeler forces a fumble and DE Ray Gant jumps on it.
We then pound the ball down Vandy's throat, with Southerland eventually taking the plunge into the end zone from 1 yard out.
Vanderbilt 17 Georgia 28
On the next series, Vandy is driving on us. They have a 3rd and 5 situation, and I come in on a blitz from the outside and I am able to get to the QB in time. I plant him into the turf, forcing the FG. Which Vandy's reliable kicker is able to put throught the uprights from 34 yards out.
Vanderbilt 20 Georgia 28
3rd Quarter
Back on the attack, we drive the ball down the field and eventually, J.C. is able to connect with his TE, Pope as he glides for the corner. Pope is so big he is able to outjump 3 DB's that were covering him, and bring the ball down, for a 21 yard completion and a touchdown.
Vanderbilt 20 Georgia 35
Vandy is finally able to put a drive together and this time the score from 1 yd out on the ground.
Vanderbilt 27 Georgia 35
4th Quarter
We were able to take advantage of a tired Vandy team. Southerland was the first to strike in this quarter with a 26 yard TD Run straight up the gut.
Vanderbilt 27 Georgia 42
After forcing a 3 and out, J.C. on a 3rd and long situation hits A.J. Bryant in stride for a 52 yard TD.
Vanderbilt 27 Georgia 49
On the next series I am able to force a punt by racking up 2 more sacks on 2nd and 3rd down.
As we move the ball down the field, we are left with a 3rd and long situation again, and J.C. manages to throw another INT.
However, this left only seconds on the clock for Vandy to try and score. They attack and toss the ball, CB Paul Oliver steps in front of the pass, with time expiring, and tries to return it all the way, before he is brought down on the 20.

Week 9
#4 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Florida.gifat #8 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
J.C. has officially been declared the starter. Coach stated there is no need to hem and haw around this, lets move forward, and I think thats fair enough.
This is a crazy game. Always has been, last year taught me that. It is a solid rainstorm that we will be playing in.
1st Quarter
A lot of back and forth battles happen, Kregg is able to get some yardage, but not much.
Eventually, J.C. is able to hit Kregg on a 50 yard TD pass.
Florida 0 Georgia 7
A little bit later, Florida is able to answer with a 56 yard TD pass.
Florida 7 Georgia 7
2nd Quarter
After a quick 3 and out, we punt the ball and pin Florida at their 10 yard line. They move the ball a few yards on their first down, but on 2nd down, Danny Verdun Wheeler steps in front of the pass and gets the INT.
A heavy dose of Kregg is what we give the Florida defense, and he eventually punches it in from 3 yards out.
Florida 7 Georgia 14
After the kick return, we manage to get a sack, and a tackle for a loss. 3rd and long, Florida ends up going way deep on us. 81 yards to be exact.
Florida 14 Georgia 14
We are then able to move the ball down the field on Florida. However, we stall out in the red zone, and are forced to kick the FG. Andy Bailey manages to hit the 32 yard FG.
Florida 14 Georgia 17
On Florida's drive, they try a quick pass to the HB on my side of the field. I am able to get him full speed, full force. Back home, we call them slobber knockers.
I lit him up, he dropped the ball right there, while he was in the air, and Kelin Johnson pounced on it.
Their HB rolled on the ground a bit as he was kind of groggy. He finally got up, and stumbled towards the Florida sideline.
So we force fed them Kregg again, and he took it in from 10 yards out.
Florida 14 Georgia 24
The next round for Florida, a pass is tipped at the line of scrimmage and Paul Oliver is able to get the INT.
We start dishing them Kregg again, and maybe we went to the well one to many times, Kregg ends up fumbling it when he is worked by their LB. Florida's saftey scoops it up and manages to return it the 70 yards for the TD.
Florida 21 Georgia 24
We have just under a minute left, and work our way down the field, time is getting down there, and with 5 seconds left in the half, J.C. hits A.J. Bryant in stride as he rolls into the end zone.
Florida 21 Georgia 31
After the kick off, Florida has one second left, to see if they can score. We assume they will kneel it out, and try and stop us in the 3rd, however, they come out lined up in the spread offense. I have to audible the defense.
We drop back into coverage blanketing their WR's. Their QB is leveled by our defensive end Charles Johnson as he releases it, the pass wobbles out like a duck, and is hauled in by Jarvis Jackson. Jarvis sheds one tackler, and then outraces the rest of the offense the 34 yards into the end zone with time expired in the half.
Florida 21 Georgia 38
3rd Quarter
There is a lot of back and forth chess matches in the 3rd, however Kelin Johnson manages to get an INT.
The other thing to note is that Florida was able to go deep on us, and connect on a 63 yard TD pass.
Florida 28 Georgia 38
4th Quarter
We generate the first score in the 4th. This was off of a 9 yard TD run by Kregg.
Florida 28 Georgia 45
We make a spectacular play on a punt. Gordon Ely-Kelso nails it high, and it comes basically straight down, A.J. Bryant was able to get under it, and haul it in on the 1 yd line.
We have them pinned. And we are gunning for the Saftey. We line up, and their QB must of noticed we were blitzing, they audibled, and his WR filled the gap where we left for the blitz. He was hit in stride, and was able to make the 2 final jukes on Kelin and Paul, and makes his way down, now I am ashamed to admit this, 99 yards to the end zone. That's right, we just gave up a 99 yard play.
Florida 35 Georgia 45
We are able to answer back on the next series, generating a 13 play 86 yard drive that is capped off by a Southerland 1 yard TD run.
Florida 35 Georgia 52
The game is pretty much ours now, as Florida has less than a minute to try and score 17 points.
We bend, we even break, but coach starts to sub in 2nd teamers at this point in time.
Eventually, Florida is able to score on a 7 yd TD Run.
Florida 42 Georgia 52
FINAL
Florida 42 Georgia 52

Florida did what a lot of teams with a smart and talented QB are doing against us.
Rolling away from me. They are taking their plays away from my side as well.
My stats for the Florida game were horrible compared to the rest of the season so far.
A.Thomas 4 Tackles, 1 Forced Fumble.....

#3 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gifat #2 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Auburn.gif
Now talk about wild. We are sitting at a #3 ranking, and we are going into an SEC game against Auburn, who is ranked #2. I tell some of the freshman with us, that this is the closest thing to a bowl type atmosphere they will see in the regular season.
It's a sellout crowd as we head into the stadium for the kick off.
1st Quarter
We get the game started off properly, as we move the ball down the field on our first series, keeping Auburn on their heels as we go play action and run all over.
J.C., on a 2nd and short, spots Bain open across the back of the end zone and launches it. Bain comes up with it.
Georgia 7 Auburn 0
2nd Quarter
Not that active as far as scoring or events, just two evenly matched teams going at it.
Auburn ends up kicking a 34 yard FG.
Georgia 7 Auburn 3
Following the FG, towards the end of the half, Jarvis Jackson ends up getting an INT.
3rd Quarter
We try to get things started off right, as Tra Battle gets the INT and sets us up well.
We move the ball down the field on Auburn like we did in the first quarter. However, as we set up the pass to score, Auburn pulls the INT in the end zone.
They then proceed to march the 80 yards down the field to get the TD on a 2 yard pass.
Georgia 7 Auburn 10
4th Quarter
Auburn gets the ball back, and moves down the field, they are dishing us, runs by the HB, FB, and QB...and then they set us up for the play action.
It gets us, and they score from 38 yards out.
Georgia 7 Auburn 17
We are able to answer, moving down the field, and Kregg takes the TD from 5 yards out.
Georgia 14 Auburn 17
Auburn then busts out a little running game magic on us. Their back refused to go down, I hit him hard, and he stumbled, placing his hand on the ground to steady, he then spins from Kelin, and it is a foot race between him and the rest of the defense. He is able to win the 69 yard dash, and get the TD.
Georgia 14 Auburn 24
Our next series was pretty punchy, as tempers flared several times, and we pushed into FG range. Andy Bailey managed to strike the 38 yard FG.
Georgia 17 Auburn 24
With just over a minute left in the game, we attempt the onsides kick, which we were unable to recover.
We have all 3 of our time outs left.
A run up the gut, gives Auburn the first and then some. We let them eat the clock, and then they attempt a run again, and we stuff them, and promptly call the time out.
2nd down, another run, this time we greet the back inthe backfield for a loss. Again, we call a time out.
3rd down and long, they have no choice but to attempt a pass for the first down to try and keep our offense off the field. They drop back, the QB rolls to his right, and launches the ball. Thomas Flowers steps in front of it and gets the bat down.
4th down and long, 20 seconds left in the game, and we are looking at the fact we might have to drive 80+ yards in those 20 seconds. Auburn punts it, Demiko Goodman is back to receive.
The ball is a solid punt, Demiko drops back to our 17, and takes off to the left, he jukes one, two, three, and is now behind the wall, he takes it up the field, with only the punter to beat, he acts like he is going right, but cuts back to the outside, leaving the punter with his jock strap around his ankles. He strides into the End zone! TD! We tie the game with 10 seconds left in the game!
Georgia 24 Auburn 24
Auburn has a chance to win the game, but that is on deep passes, so we end up blitzing me, and dropping DB's and the other LB's into coverage, maybe we can force a fumble and run it in for the win.
I blitz from the outside, this time I was able to hide it more, or maybe they didn't expect it, but I was able to get to the QB, and as I was making the hit, I swatted the ball out of his hands, it bounced off of one of our players hands as he tried to pick it up, but Auburn was able to recover it.
Time did expire after this.
Overtime
What to say here? Auburn was the recepient of lady lucks kindness this day. A pass to a wide open Leonard Pope in the end zone, bounces off of his hands and into an Auburn defenders. He is able to return it out of the end zone.
So we are now left to shut Auburn down, either push them back, out of FG range, or if they are in FG, block it.
We were able to push them back, but not to far.
They line up for the 40 yard FG, and they nail it, and get the win.
Georgia 24 Auburn 27

Week 12
#6 Ghttp://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif at http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Mississippi.gif
The bye week helped us heal up, and prepare thoroughly for Ole Miss. We have been picked to blow this team out, and I truly feel we will. Coach has stated we are in the game all the way, no matter what the score.
1st Quarter
The game starts out quite well for us. We force Mississippi to a three and out. We then give them a Heavy dose of Kregg and some nice mid range completions.
Eventually, Southerland takes it in from 1 yard out.
Georgia 7 Mississippi 0
The next series, we end up2nd Quarter
News is, their QB will be returning to the game, he just has a bruised shoulder.
After the punt return, we move the ball down the field, until it is fumbled by Southerland on a FB dive up the middle.
The next play, I blitz from the outside, strong arming my way by the Tackle, and getting the sack, setting them up for a 2nd and long situation.
We try to throw their QB off, by blitzing and going man up, instead of zone. He recognized the coverage and then went over the top on a quick release, he was able to complete it as the WR blew right by Paul Oliver and sprinted 83 yards for the TD.
Georgia 14 Mississippi 7
We start moving the ball down the field, using a solid combination of the run game with the play action pass, we are sitting on their 4, and attempt another FB dive, and Southerland puts the ball on the ground again, and we watch Mississippi recover it.
They start moving the ball down field. It's at about the MF when they try a swing route to the back. He catches it, and starts to turn upfield, he had not noticed me, and I cleaned his clock, the collision rocked the stadium, and he literally folded in on himself as he dropped the ball. He stayed on the ground a bit, but Paul Oliver scooped up the fumble, and out raced a shocked offense 53 yards down the field for a TD.
Georgia 21 Mississippi 7
3rd Quarter
We open the 2nd half with the ball, and another solid drive ensues, and before you know it, we are in the red zone. But this time, the Mississippi defense stiffens up, and forces on a 3rd and goal. We try to force the pass, and it is tipped, and picked by their LB on the 1 yard line.
We just pinned our ears back and went after them, they were able to move the ball outside of their 10, but that was it. They end up punting.
We get the ball back at about MF, and just drive it down the field, and J.C. eventually hits Southerland on a swing pass for a 5 yard TD.
Georgia 28 Mississippi 7
We start blitzing and mixing the coverages more frequently now as we are realizing their QB is not seeing the field that well.
I am able to come in from the outside, and slam into the QB, getting another sack.
The next play, I am blitzing again, and their QB must be concerned, because he rushed his throw and Jarvis Jackson was able to pull the wobbly ball down, and get the INT.
We start churning down the field again, this time all ground and Kregg finally gets his TD, this one from 6 yards out.
Georgia 35 Mississippi 7
A quick 3 and out by Mississippi, allows us to move the ball down the field with ease. This time J.C. audibles out of the run, and is able to get the match up he wanted with A.J. on the outside. He completes the pass for a 32 yard TD.
Georgia 42 Mississippi 7
4th Quarter
I am able to come off the side again, and get another sack, this time it forces a 3rd and long. Again, one they are not able to complete.
We start moving the ball on the return, but coach is trying to get a little tricky, and go to the air, on an option pass. J.C. ends up throwing the INT.
Mississippi attempts to nut it up, and pounds it at ass. They eventually take it in from 7 yards out.
Georgia 42 Mississippi 14
The tighten up on us, and force us in a 3rd and long situation, so J.C. goes to the air, and hits Leonard Pope for 47 yard TD strike.
Georgia 49 Mississippi 14
A quick 3 and out, and we are back moving the ball down the field. Southerland gets his 3rd TD of the day, this one another 1 yard dive up the middle.
Georgia 56 Mississippi 14
I pick up my 6th sack of the day, forcing the 3 and out.
We then in turn, just churn the ground game with our back ups in, down the field. Our backup FB, Chase Green, ends up getting his first TD of the season as he takes it in from 1 yard out.
Georgia 63 Mississippi 14

Week 13
#5 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gifat #16 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/South_Carolina.gif
Looking at the way things are panning out, we have managed to do alright this season. So far, J.C. has become our starting QB due to his mobility, A.J. and Kregg have stepped up their offensive performance, and our defense has been solid, except for the big plays we tend to give up.
Visiting South Carolina is going to put us into hostile territory and they are definately looking to shut us down after the whipping they took last season.
1st Quarter
The game starts off with us trading some shots, attempting to go deep, and just plain old testing each other out.
Eventually we were able to turn the tables on South Carolina with Tra Battle snagging the INT and setting us up for good field position.
We grind it out and Kregg takes it in from 2 yards out.
Georgia 7 South Carolina 0
2nd Quarter
South Carolina turns it around on us in the second, by setting themselves up with the INT, and then quickly attacking with a 30 yard TD pass
Georgia 7 South Carolina 7
Not wanting to go down like that, J.C. on a 2nd and short situation, runs the play action and hits A.J. Bryant down the side for a 29 yard TD pass.
Georgia 14 South Carolina 7
Now we are just trading blows as South Carolina follows up with a 29 yard TD Pass.
Georgia 14 South Carolina 14
With time slowly ticking away at the half, and us kicking at the start of the 2nd half, we grind out the rest of the half and Andy Bailey comes in to kick the 25 yard FG.
Georgia 17 South Carolina 14
3rd Quarter
The 3rd turns into the South Carolina show as we are not able to get it together.
With their opening drive, they move the ball down the field and then score on a 26 yard TD Pass.
Georgia 17 South Carolina 21
The next series, we fumble, and they recover. We are able to tighten it down, and force the FG. They nail the 49 yard FG
Georgia 17 South Carolina 24
Another fumble by us, sets South Carolina up in a sweet spot. However, on the defense we are able to hold them, and they are held to a 25 yard FG
Georgia 17 South Carolina 27
We fumble it again, with South Carolina recovering to end the quarter.
4th Quarter
We are able to hold them and forcethe punt.
J.C. then leads the offense on a solid march down the field, he eventually finds Demiko Goodman running the post corner route and hits him for a 37 yard TD Pass.
Georgia 24 South Carolina 27
South Carolina starts to move the ball down the field, and end up in our territory. They are playing the cat and mouse game against us. We call the time out, the make the play, we call the time out...we burn all but one time out, and they end up kicking the 43 yard FG and forcing us to drive the field with 35 seconds remaining.
Georgia 24 South Carolina 30
What can you say, a solid kick return by Demiko Goodman puts us with the ball at our 40.
J.C. then lines up, and runs a play action, and catches a streaking A.J. Bryant on the sideline, he catches, and it brought down at the 1 yard line.
It's rough, we have 29 seconds left, we call the dive to Southerland, and he is stuffed, and we take the timeout.
Coach talks it over on the sideline, he admits his concern is if we pass it, we will get the INT and end the game, so he opts to pound it.
They come out, lining up in the power I, and hand off to Kregg, and he powers his way in from the 1 yard line and gets the go ahead TD.
Georgia 31 South Carolina 30
South Carolina is stuffed on the kick return at their 25. We have roughly 23 seconds to hold them.
We shut them down, and they take all three time outs. They complete a third and long.
They start trying to hit us on the out routes. The first play, they complete and get out of bounds, the second play they complete it but are unable to get out, the clock is ticking, they have no more time outs. They are running a hurry up, and we audible trying to get deep coverage, they catch us in a shift, and complete the deep pass, their receiver is on the 15, the 10, the 6, and is brought down from behind by Paul Oliver...
Paul saved the game for us! Paul saved the game! We are able to scatch this one out!
FINAL
Georgia 31 South Carolina 30

Week 14
http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia_Tech.gifat #4 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
The rivalry game, the hated Yellow Jackets coming to our home stadium. Last year, they shocked us. This year, we will crash their little party. We do not plan on losing the last conference game of the year, not with the #4 Ranking.
1st Quarter
We get the game started off properly moving the ball down the field, and eventually, J.C. ends up connecting with Demiko Goodman for a 16 yard TD pass.
GT 0 Georgia 7
We hold GT, and are able to turn around and move back down into their territory, however, they were able to stop us, and force the 52 yard field goal. Andy Bailey nails this field goal, with some distance to spare.
GT 0 Georgia 10
I am able to rack up in 2 sacks with this series to force the 3rd and long, and force the punt.
Some slugging goes on towards the end of the quarter, and we finally come out of it with another field goal. This one from 34 yards out.
GT 0 Georgia 13
2nd Quarter
More movement up and down the field by us, but we are not punching it like we normally could, GT is just ruining the TD's for our red zone offense. Eventually, we are able to hit a 27 yard FG
GT 0 Georgia 16
Finally, GT has an answer for us, and it is a big play, and 82 yard TD Pass to be exact on a 2nd and long.
GT 7 Georgia 16
Again, the GT defense toughens up in the red zone and forces another FG. This one with completed from 29 yards out.
GT 7 Georgia 19
GT moves the ball down the field on us, just churning the clock, and wearing us out defensively. Eventually, they were able to punch it in from 5 yards out.
GT 14 Georgia 19
And to round out the 3rd quarter, we bring Andy Bailey back on the field to kick a 44 yard FG for us, which he made. Andy is on fire today.
GT 14 Georgia 22
3rd Quarter
Starting off the half GT gets the ball, and I am able to step in front of the pass, and get the INT setting is in decent position.
We finally get the TD's going with us moving the ball down the field and finally having J.C. hit Demiko Goodman again for a TD, this time he came across the middle, deep in the end zone. The completion was for 17 yards and the TD.
GT 14 Georgia 29
I am able to make another play, this one, slapping the ball out of the running backs hands, and stop a solid GT drive, with us getting the ball back on our 30.
The very next series for us, we move the ball down the field, and eventually end up on GT 2. They stuff us on both first and 2nd down, and we were almost resigned to kick another FG when J.C. audibles out of the run play, and hits A.J. on a quick slant for a 3 yard TD.
GT 14 Georgia 36
4th Quarter
The game is all but over, the wind has been taken out of GT, but we want to rub it in some more.
We move down the field, and eventually stall in the red zone again. Andy comes out and nails a 26 yard FG.
GT 14 Georgia 39
GT tries to get something going, and is able to get within FG range and they do just that. Kicking the 51 yard field goal.
GT 17 Georgia 39
They attempt the onsides kick, which we recover, and promptly move down the field and rack another TD up. This was the 3rd connection between Demiko and J.C., this time from 23 yards out.
GT 17 Georgia 46
The rest of the game we have our back ups come in and actually hold and compete against a demoralized Georgia Tech team.
FINAL
GT 17 Georgia 46

Wild, crazy? I do not know what you would call the Georgia Tech game. I myself call it my breakout game.
It got the attention of the Heisman voters, but it also garnered the To Little To Late statement as well.
I ended up getting Player of the Game honors again.
This time with the following stats:
10 Tackles, 4 For Loss, 2 Sacks, 1 INT, and 1 Forced Fumble.
We also received our first commitment this time.

It was crazy when I was named as the receipent of these awards. My phone rang off the hook, from the press agencies, friends, and family trying to get a hold of me for congratulations and such.
I also have the seedier agents trying to convince me to leave early. To me, football is a means to get me where I need to go. That is my degree, and if possible, maybe a career in the NFL.
I was also awarded 1st Team All-SEC and 1st Team All-American.

I also found out that I am 3 sacks away from breaking the NCAA career record. If I decide to stay through my senior season, I will have the record secured, and I do not think it will be broken.
I credit the coach and the blitzing schemes he has been calling to get me into the backfield.

Week 2
http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Troy_St.gif at #9 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
We are ready, and this time, we are not going to let up on any team if we can help it. J.C. has been awesome at QB, he is smart, and elusive, and has a great touch on the ball. Danny, wants to go out with a bang and make sure he can get to the NFL. Me, I just want to break the sack record, and I want to do it, in this game.
1st Quarter
Troy modified their offense from last season, we were not ready for the attack that came out after us, and they moved the ball down the field on us at will, scoring from 10 yards out with their running game.
Troy 7 Georgia 0
We were able to grind out the clock, moving the ball down the field using a ground attack with a series of short passes. Chase Green our FB, got the TD off of a 1 yd dive.
Troy 7 Georgia 7
The rest of the quarter was some hard hitting football. However, we were driving to score at the end of the quarter.
2nd Quarter
We managed to start the quarter on Troy's 15 yard line, and a few quick hits, and a quick slant to Mohammed Massoquai from th 4, and we scored again.
Troy 7 Georgia 14
The next series, I am able to get my first sack of the game and force a punt. We get the ball, and start moving it down the field, but J.C. puts it on the ground while trying to run the option. Troy recovers the fumble.
We force the 3 and out and then J.C. hits Bain over the top for a 43 yard TD.
Troy 7 Georgia 21
First play of the next series Paul Oliver steps in front of an errant Troy pass and taked it 44 yards to the End zone
Troy 7 Georgia 28
Another quick 3 and out sets up A.J. Bryant to work wonders for a 45 yard punt return for a TD.
Troy 7 Georgia 35
3rd Quarter
Starting out in the 3rd, Troy is moving the ball on us, catching us off the adrenaline rush we have, coach is yelling at me to do something, stop these guy somehow.
The next play, I am sent in on a blitz, I am able to get the sack, force the fumble so our defensive end jumps on the ball.
We then turn around, and strike immediately. J.C. hits Danny Wade in the flats, and he turns it up field dor a 54 yard TD.
Troy 7 Georgia 42
Troy, gets the ball, and is moving it down the field. We finally, lock down on them, and tighten up and force the 4th and 1. They line up for the punt, and we already have them on their heels, so coach sends us all, trying to get the block....however they fake it, and have a guy wide open down the field. A.J. makes the TD saving tackle on the 5 yard line, but it is a little to late, they punch in 3 plays later from the 1 yd line.
Troy 14 Georgia 42
We take the kick off and move it down the field, and Danny Wade scores his second TD of the game, this one on the ground from 17 yards out.
Troy 14 Georgia 49
4th Quarter
Troy had the ball to end the 3rd, and so they start out in the 4th on a 3rd and long, and we hold them. On the punt, the wall sets up beautifully and A.J. Bryant takes his second return to the house, this one a 34 yard punt return.
Troy 14 Georgia 56
The next series, I blitz in from the outside and get my 3rd sack, and I managed to break the NCAA all time sack record. They announce it on the system and the fans are crazy! It was amazing, I jogged off the field with the defense, getting basically, a standing ovation from everyone.
We have all the 2nd teams in on both offense and defense and Blake Barnes manages to throw an INT.
Troy starts moving the ball on our 2nd team defense when Freshman MLB Horgan jumps up and pulls down the pass, and takes the ball 84 yards for the TD.
Troy 14 Georgia 63
FINAL
Troy 14 Georgia 63

What a crazy week, after breaking the record, I had interviews throughout the week with ESPN, and a flood of fan mail, e-mails, phone calls, and my parents are getting hammered by agents, all trying to convince them I am pro worth material right now, and will be a 1st round pick.
My stats from the Troy game were:
7 Tackles, 5 For Loss, 3 Sacks, 1 Pass Deflection, 1 Forced Fumble.
Even with those stats, and breaking the record, I drop in the rankings on the Heisman Watch.

Week 3
#9 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif at FIU
Things have calmed down, and practice was great this week. We hope on the plane and head for Florida.
1st Quarter
We take the kick off in this crazy down pour, and drive down the field. J.C. hits Bain coming across the middle in the back of the end zone from 11 yards out.
Georgia 7 FIU 0
We force the quick 3 and out and start moving the ball down the field. Lining up in a 2nd and goal situation, we run the offset I, and slam Danny up for blocking and catch the FB on a counter. Chase Green rumbles in from 6 yards out.
Georgia 14 FIU 0
Another 3 and out sets up another drive for us. This one is capped by Danny Wade pounding it up the middle breaking 4 tackles as he storms into the end zone from 11 yards out.
Georgia 21 FIU 0
The next series I get a sack and force the 4th and long punt. J.C. then tries an option, and puts the ball on the ground. FIU has a DL pick it up and run it in from their 30 for the TD.
Georgia 21 FIU 7
2nd Quarter
We started the 2nd quarter already driving down the field, and we are set up on the 1 yard line. We run an option, and J.C. lets chase take the dive, and he scores. His second rushing TD of the day
Georgia 28 FIU 7
FIU generates a solid drive, moving the ball down the field, but the help of a deep pass sets them up for the 1 yard TD run.
Georgia 28 FIU 14
The panic has not set in, we are 2 TD's ahead, and we are manhandling this team every where. 2 stupid plays put them where they are at.
We move the ball down the field, and we try the same FB counter, and Chase rumbles in from 6 yards out and his 3rd TD of the day!
Georgia 35 FIU 14
Another quick 3 and out and we are moving down the field again. FIU is on their heels, they do not know what to do, they are seeing our attacks coming from every where, eventually , J.C. takes the option and keeps it, scoring on the 1 yd dive.
Georgia 42 FIU 14
3rd Quarter
We get the ball to start the 3rd, and J.C. runs the option, taking the ball up field, he is wrapped up and tries to go down, but they spin him around, and a hand slaps the ball out. FIU recovers.
We manage to hold them to a 3 and out, and then move the ball about 20 yards. J.C. adds another 44 yards and a TD to his passing total when he hit a wide open A.J. Bryant in stride from a play action.
Georgia 49 FIU 14
More of us shutting down the FIU offense happens again, and a long drive that ends with Danny Wade scoring from 6 yards out increases the score some more.
Georgia 56 FIU 14
I wrap up their RB at the line of scrimmage, slapping the ball out of his hand, and allowing us to recover. Our 2nd team offense comes onto the field.
They generate nothing. And are forced to punt. FIU, moves the ball down the field on most of the 2nd team defense, I am in there trying to pad my stats for the Heisman, and coach is leaving me there too.
Eventually, FIU scores on a 4 Yd TD run.
Georgia 56 FIU 21
4th Quarter
FIU rattles Blake pretty good at QB and he throws a wild pass for the INT.
FIU takes advantage, moving the ball and eventually score on a 1 yard TD run.\
Georgia 56 FIU 28
We got a glimpse at the future of the Georgia Bulldogs running game in Baker, he took a hand off, that was supposed to go off tackle, and straight up, however, he had to bounce it, and he did, to the outside and down the sideline for 80 yards and the touchdown!
Georgia 63 FIU 28
I end up racking 2 sacks in a row with one forcing a fumble, however we did not recover it. I walk off the field satisfied I have convinced the voters I am legitimate.
As the clock ticks out FIU is forced to punt, and Mohammed Moussaqi takes the return 70 yards for the final TD in the game!
Georgia 69 FIU 28

Another solid game and we have proven we can beat up on easy lower end schools, however, next week, we have to prove it against a ranked opponent with South Carolina.
So far this season we have averaged a punt return for a TD in every game. I hope we can keep that up.
My stats for the game were
8 tackles, 5 for loss, 3 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles.
That was not enough to even keep me on the watch list. Hopefully I can play impressive enough in the middle here to prove to them I deserve the hardware.
Also, Bakers 80 yard TD run was the longest in school history. And this means I have been witness to both of the record breaking runs.

Week 4
#16http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/South_Carolina.gifat #9 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
Where to start? Our Center Orry Mitchell is out for 1 game due to a banged up knee, Jeremy Lomax is suspended for 3 games for breaking team rules, and we are going to have a massive downpour with at least 80 degree's.
Not ideal conditions to take on Spurrier and South Carolina.
1st Quarter
We are forced into a quick 3 and out, and South Carolina turns around and moves the ball down the field on us real quick. Next thing you know, they are throwing for a 3 yard TD.
South Carolina 7 Georgia 0
We are able to answer back on the nextseries, moving the ball down the field with ease. This time relying heavily on Danny Wade. Chase Green gets the TD run from the 1.
South Carolina 7 Georgia 7
South Carolina starts to move on us, but with me breathing down their QB's neck, he ends up making a mistake and throws the ball into coverage where Kelin Johnson gets the INT.
We then move the ball down the field, and we are eventually tied up, 4th and short on the South Carolina 39, we go for it and convert the play, not just converting, but scoring on a pass from J.C. to Bain.
South Carolina 7 Georgia 14
I am then able to end the quarter out with my first sack of the game.
2nd Quarter
We were able to force the punt, and then move the ball down the field where a sick Andy Bailey was able to kick the 34 yard FG.
South Carolina 7 Georgia 17
South Carolina was able to attack, and strike quickly on the next series, scoring on a 29 yard TD pass.
South Carolina 14 Georgia 17
Some back and forth play eventually leads to us driving down the field and scoring on a 20 yard TD pass to Mohammed Mossaquai.
South Carolina 14 Georgia 24
3rd Quarter
We kickoff to start the half, and the first play I am able to blow right into the backfield and get my 2nd sack of the day. Eventually, South Carolina ends up punting the ball.
We respond offensively by moving the ball down the field again, and then J.C. hits Mohammed Mossaquai from 39 yards out for his second TD reception of the day
South Carolina 14 Georgia 31
The very next series, we are attacked almost immediately, and South Carolina scores on a 45 yard TD Pass.
South Carolina 21 Georgia 31
More pressure forces another interception to be thrown. Kelin Johnson gets his second INT of the day.
We respond by giving them a heavy dose of Danny Wade, and he eventually gets the touchdown from 3 yards out. Andy Bailey was busy with the flu on the sideline so we went for 2 and failed (I hit the wrong buttons and did not want to waste a time out)
South Carolina 21 Georgia 37
We force the 3 and out, but turn around and throw the INT. Well, not to be outdone, on their first place, we run a blitz from the other side, bringing in the MLB and the outside backer, I drop into coverage, and the pressure forces the QB to put the ball up. Well, he puts it, right into my hands, and I return the INT for 9 yards.
4th Quarter
With the interception placing us into good field goal position, we attempt to move the ball, but we are honestly, driven back by a sack. Andy Bailey feels better and comes out to attempt the 50 yard FG. He is able to get behind it, and it goes through the uprights!
South Carolina 21 Georgia 40
The 1st play after the kickoff, I am pressuring their QB and he makes a hurried throw to my side of the field, their WR was open, but the ball was short. Paul Oliver snagged it and returned it the 30 yards for the TD.
South Carolina 21 Georgia 47
Needing big plays, South Carolina proceeds to attempt to attack down field. They do hook up for a 57 yard TD Pass.
South Carolina 28 Georgia 47
After letting Danny break the 200 yard rushing mark for the game, we bring in backup running back Kucera. He helps move the ball down the field, and he gets his first ever NCAA TD from 11 yards out.
South Carolina 28 Georgia 54
I manage to get my 3rd sack of the game, and force a 3rd and long. However, they were able to convert the 3rd and long, and then turn around and attack deep, scoring on a 42 yard TD pass.
South Carolina 35 Georgia 54
South Carolina kicks the onside and recovers it, however we were able to stall them out and force them to go for it. Which we quelched.
However, J.C. must have had a brain fart, with us in the lead, he decides to audible to a pass, which he promptly throws and INT to the South Carolina LB that mows him over on his way to a TD.
South Carolina 42 Georgia 54
The game finishes out with us just pounding it the rest of the way.
FINAL
South Carolina 42 Georgia 54

An awesome game, looking at the stats, we sacked their QB's 4 times, they threw 4 INT's, but we hurried them 22 times, which forced a lot of incomplete passes.
I was made Player of the game with the following stats.
6 Tackles, 3 for loss, 3 sacks, 1 INT, 2 Pass Deflections.
I also made it back on the Heisman watch list in 4th place. Things are starting to click, and we were able to make people aware that this Georgia team is for real.
We have one of the top squads in the country, in fact, I just found out, our stadium is ranked the 2nd toughest place to play this season.

Week 5
http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Kentucky.gif at #9 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif
We welcome Kentucky in a rain-soaked field, it appears that the weather is becoming our best friend though.
Jeremy Lomax is suspended for a few games still.
1st Quarter
A wet and soggy field provides for some slippery conditions on the grass and with the ball. The first quarter is a slug fest as we are trying to gauge how each other will play in the weather.
Eventually we go ahead on a 32 yard TD run by Danny Wade.
Kentucky 0 Georgia 7
2nd Quarter
This quarter turns into ours as we start to control the game clock and eat up the time with a ground game.
Our first score comes on a triple option play on the 2, where J.C. hands the ball to Chase Green and he scores on the FB Dive.
Kentucky 0 Georgia 14
The second score of the quarter is Danny Wade flashing his impact brilliance as he breaks through 3 tackles and makes it into the end zone from 19 yards out.
Kentucky 0 Georgia 21
3rd Quarter
We come out of the locker room, encouraged not to let up, in fact, coach has stated we will not let up at all. We have something to prove to everyone this season.
Danny gets his 3rd TD of the game off of a 2 yard dive right up the middle.
Kentucky 0 Georgia 28
Kentucky finally gets up on the board following a decent kick return. They managed to get within FG range, but no further.
They end up kicking a 19 yard FG.
Kentucky 3 Georgia 28
We come out in the next series and J.C. is sacked, and Danny only gets 3 yards, which leaves us on a 3rd and long situation. J.C. goes over the top to Mohammed Massoquaoi for a 65 yard TD pass.
Kentucky 3 Georgia 35
The very next play, Thomas Flowers steps in front of the pass and takes it 29 yards for the TD.
Kentucky 3 Georgia 42
4th Quarter
We look at coach to see if he wants to sub in some of the second string guys, and he said he will in a bit.
We move the ball down the field, Kentucky, not able to stop us. As we get up close, it turns into the Chase Green show, and he takes one in from 5 yards out.
Kentucky 3 Georgia 49
The next series, I end up smashing their QB in the chest just as he lets go of the pass. He writhes a little bit, and goes off of the field on his own accord, but he is pretty much done for the day.
Paul Oliver ends up recovering a fumble on the next play.
Danny Wade then finishes his day off with another TD, this one from 3 yards out.
Kentucky 3 Georgia 56
On the Kick Return, we end up socking their return man pretty hard, and he puts the ball on the turf, and we promptly recover it.
Running Back Baker is now in, and he takes this one in, from 7 yards out.
Kentucky 3 Georgia 63
Kentucky actually is able to generate some offense, the scary thing is, it's their back ups, against ours, and they move the ball down the field easily, and get the score on a 4 yd TD Pass.
Kentucky 10 Georgia 63
After an onside kick attempt, we end up sitting it out, and the game is over.
FINAL
Kentucky 10 Georgia 63

Teams are starting to move, and run away from me, it's almost like, if I want to get into the play, we have to drop me into zone, and then I have to run all the way across the field in order to see any kind of action.
The game against Kentucky I was only able to get 2 tackles and a Pass Deflection. This dropped me out of the Heisman Watch list again.
However, Danny Wade ended up getting on the list at the 3rd spot from his 27 carry, 316 yard performance, on top of that, 4 TD's helped as well....

Week 7
#5 http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Georgia.gif at http://www.sportssims.com/images/tcy/Logos/Alabama.gif
We head into the game against Alabama with both our offense and defense ranked in the top 5.
1st Quarter
The game starts of with us taking the opening kick off and marching the 80 yards downfield for the score.
The TD was a 1 yard dive to FB Chase Green
Georgia 7 Alabama 0
Several series quick series follow, but we were able to generate another long drive to be capped off again by FB Chase Green. This one a FB Counter from 5 yards out.
Georgia 14 Alabama 0
2nd Quarter
We are able to open the second quarter with Thomas Flowers getting an INT. We then grind out the series and Danny Wade scores from the 1 yard line.
Georgia 21 Alabama 0
Alabama finally answers us, and moves the ball down the field and attacks Thomas Flowers. Going 46 yards in the air for the TD.
Georgia 21 Alabama 7
We turn around and move the ball down the field next series, and J.C. finally hits TE Trahern Holden cutting in the middle of the end zone from 18 yards out.
Georgia 28 Alabama 7
Alabama continues to exchange punches with us, and takes a quick out and up against Paul Oliver 81 yards for the TD.
Georgia 28 Alabama 14
With time ticking away in the half, we initiate our no huddle two minute offense and we are able to move the ball down the field.
With the time expired, J.C. hits Bain running one on one for a 20 yard TD.
Georgia 35 Alabama 14
3rd Quarter
A blitz sending both of the outside backers at the bama QB results in him scrambling....He turns back into me, and I am able to clean him on the scramble. He goes down and stays down. It looks like his shoulder, and he is gone for the game.
We push them back on their 1 yard line. MLB Joseph Thomas gets the saftey stopping the run in the end zone.
Georgia 37 Alabama 14
We then hold them, and move within FG range. Andy Bailey nails the 30 yard FG
Georgia 40 Alabama 14
4th Quarter
The game is pretty much turning into a blowout for us and coach has decided to keep the defense out there and pull the starting offense.
We start out the 4th with another FG, this time Andy hit one from 33 yards out.
Georgia 43 Alabama 14
Alabama brings in some of their back ups, and actually churn some decent yardage against us. In fact, they score on an 8 yard TD Run.
Georgia 43 Alabama 21
They attempt the onside kick, and we were not prepared for it, and they recover.
We are able to answer with me racking up 2 sacks in a row and forcing a 3rd and long that they fail to complete. They then go for it on the 4th, and fail.
We end putting the ball on the turf, and Alabama recovers. They turn and hit a 36 yard TD pass on us. They do fail trying to convert for 2.
Georgia 43 Alabama 27
They attempt the onsides kick again, and we recover. However, we fumble the ball again on the next play.
Alabama is immediately stuffed, with 2 more sacks by me, and we watch the clock tick away after a 3rd and 4th down play.
FINAL
Georgia 43 Alabama 27

We manhandled Alabama, and it was a good game. They did what most of the other teams did, run everything away from me. However, when they did come to my side, I made them pay.
My stats from the Alabama game were 7 tackles, 4 For Loss, 4 Sacks. I am still off of the Heisman Watch list.

The Tennessee game was an excellent game. We were able to control them, and move down the field, but from the past 2 years we have played them, they are seriously weak at the QB and WR spots.
I racked up only 4 tackles that game and I notice that my season totals are off a lot from what they have been.

The Florida game should propel us to the #1 spot in the polls, but the way our schedule has been so far, we only have 2 quality wins against ranked opponents now.
The game for me has been my standard fare as they are on quick releases and running away from me.
4 Tackles, 3 For Loss, 2 Sacks, 1 INT.
The Heisman talk is there, but Danny Wade has lost some ground in the Heisman Watch...

First of the BCS Rankings are released at Week 10.
1. USC
2. Michigan
3. Georgia
4. Texas A&M
5. Penn State
6. Oklahoma
7. Texas Tech
8. Auburn
9. Georgia Tech
10. Wake Forest
11. South Carolina
12. N.C. State
13. Miami
14. Louisville
15. Florida
Right now with two wins over BCS ranked teams, we are slightly pissed we are not 1 or 2 in these rankings. As it stands, we have been screwed here. Especially since we are #1 in both polls. I am thinking it will take wins over Georgia Tech and Auburn or additional losses for USC and Michigan.

Can someone say National Championship ??
I am hoping so. This is the most dominant my offense has been in this game. And I owe it all to RB Danny Wade, he is an impact player that just dominates LB's and DB's when he crosses the line of scrimmage.

I haven't forgot this.....I am swamped at work...however, I am having an issue.
1) The Xbox is giving me the dirty/damaged disc error with every game....this is generally a sign that I have to replace the DVD Drive.
2) If that happens, I do not know if I will replace it with the 360 coming out this year. I might, I will have to look into it.
3) If it is shot, I hate to say it, but writing for the remainder games of the season hit an even lower priority as it takes me roughly 30 minutes to write the game for the week as well as adjust the TOP 25.

Alright, final update here followed by a question.
I had to replace my DVD drive and my HD on this...thus making this dynasty gone....
I am going to read through it all again for memory sake....
But the question is, would anyone be willing to read another one...
