I am looking for a hat. Not just any hat, but this hat.

Lids.com doesn't have it in my size (XL). A store in Las Vegas has it in my size, but cannot ship it to me.

If anyone wants to take pity on me and pick this up, I'll mail you a check today. I just need you to ship it for me.

Hey Cam...I've been able to get hats from Lids shipped directly to my closest store (free) if they have it in stock anywhere. Have you looked into that?

Have you really? I asked the customer care people last night and they said they didn't do that. I'm going to call the manager of the Las Vegas store today and see if they'll do it.

Thanks, NoMyths, but they don't actually have the style hat I want... nay, need.

Let me expound upon the joys of the Twins Enterprise "Franchise" hat. -

-Fitted, which is great for bald guys like me. Means I can flip the hat around backwards if need be and not show off an acre of forehead real estate.

-Low profile, so it doesn't stick up off your head like a goober. I have a pumpkinhead. If I try to wear a regular fitted cap (the official kind), I might as well wear a ten gallon hat. It just looks dorky on me.

So I buy the Franchise. Started with my Boston Red Sox hat about three years ago. I estimate I've bought well over twenty of the hats for various teams since then. Right now on my "too buy" list are the hats for the

-Las Vegas 51's (obviously)

-Pawtucket Red Sox

-St. Louis University Billikens

-Wilmington Blue Rocks

It's the greatest hat ever. And yes, I am addicted to them. Got two for my birthday today as a matter of fact.

Why would you need a hat anyway? You have a beautiful head of hair!

I have two hats from the St. Louis Stallions. They are from the Starter NFL line. (In case anyone forgot, Jacksonville was a surprise expansion pick. St. Louis was favored over Baltimore and Jax, but lost. The apparell was printed up just in case St. Louis won the team.)
