OT: Local Queers

So a friend and I have the goal of visiting all 50 states in the next five years, and plan on meeting a local queer in each one of them. Sorta stupid I know, but a decent way to go out and see our country. Since local queers can be hit or miss, I'm looking for recommendations for the following states, which we will be visiting this month:

Connecticut (Hartford / N Branford)
New York (NYC)
Massachusetts (Boston / Walpole)

You should be able to find a local queer in NYC in about 3 milliseconds, so that will be a quick stop.

Easy, get your Hair cut in each state at a Salon with a French name. You can even name your tour based on this theme "Queers for Shears" or something to that effect.
