Werewolf XI: The return to Transylvania

Welcome back to another fantastic round of werewolf games. This game will be very similar to the last game that I ran. Once again, I will replace werewolfs with vampires. However, I have thought up some devious twists that will hopefully make this game even more fun.

The rules of this game is simple. There are two turns. A night turn and a day turn. Every night the vampires will attack someone and turn them into a vampire. Every day, the villagers will lynch someone and attempt to rid themselves of the vampires.

For this game we need 17 players.

Here is the summary of roles

Nosferatu
You are a a vampire of course. You are also a loner. This means at the start of the game, you will not know if there are any other vampires, and if their are, you will not know who they are. Each night you can select one person to attack and turn into a vampire. If you attack another vampire, nothing will happen, and you will learn that the person you attack is a vampire. You may contact any vampires via PM if you learn their identity. It it up to the discrecion of the person you attack if they wish to reveal any vampires they know. If you are killed, all of your children die.

The Damned
You are a new vampire, just recently created by a Nosferatu. You are quite weak. You are also a slave to the master. If you become one of "the damned" you are forbidden to tell anyone that you are now a vampire. In no way can you betray your master, the blood bond is so strong. And you must attempt to carry out his orders as best as possible.

The Belmont Clan
You are a member of the lengendary Belmont family. You mission throughout the ages has been the eradication of vampires. You are a loner, and secretive. This is done to protect your identity. You rarely know anyone in the Belmont clan outside of your immediate family. This is to protect your identity in case of capture. You have the ability to view one person per night and learn their identity. If you identify a vampire, you have a 10% chance to learn if they are a master or not. If their are more than one Belmont member, and you view them, you will be able to contact them via PM. If you are attacked, you cannot be turned. You will be killed. However, you have a 50% chance of killing your attacker in the process

The crazy Duke
You rule this small province. The fear of vampires has made you quite mad though. Once during the game, you may change the vote and pick someone else to lynch. This includes changing the vote to someone other than yourself.

The Doctor
Your lifes work has been the treatment of vampire bites, and werewolf attacks, among other strange curses and diseases. This gives you a better chance at preventing someone bitten from turning into a vampire. Every night you can choose to watch over one person. If that person if attacked, you have a 50% chance of saving them from the bite. However, if you fail, that person will be killed. You may not help the same person two nights in a row. You also cannot save yourself. Anyone you save, is immune from being turned into a vampire for the duration of the game.


The Villager
You are a simple person. Your only role is to stay alive, and lynch someone each night.



Okay, now for some rules.

1. Do not post anything given to you in a PM. If you are the seer, or doctor, you may reveal who you have saved or viewed.

2. Ties will be broken by using the last person who voted for the tie as the breaker.

3. If there is multiple vampires, they have a equal shot at attacking. There will only be 1 attack per night though, and it will be randomly selected. You can only have 2 successfull attacks in a row, then you must rest one night.

4. If you are attacked, you lose any special powers you had, except for the Duke. If he is attacked, and hasn't used his power, he can still use it. This would be upto the discretion of his master though.

5. All votes are due by 7pm cst for day actions, and 6am cst for night actions. I urge you to send in your night actions ASAP, if I get them all before 11pm cst, there is a good chance I will run them that night. Any actions submitted after the deadline will not count.

6 If you miss 2 votes in a row, you will be considered absent, and I will find someone to replace you. If you dont have the time committment, please do not play. Thanks.

7. All roles will be revealed at death. If you lynch a vampire, you will not know if it was a master or slave though.

Vampies did not get to convert on Night 0 last game.

The problem with this style of game is that all that matters is the boss vampires (the Nosferatu). We can catch his conversions all the time but not win the game if the master evades detection.

Belmonts, I hope you read this. If you see a vampire.. look for their voting bloc before you accuse, last game the Belmonts found one Boss vampire and one secondary vampire. the Secondary didn't help any, because no one had an idea who converted him.

We can use our overwhelming numerical superiority (if there's two boss vamps like last game, we out number em 15-2, even if we miss the lynch and they convert two nights running, it's 11-4.) Use your views wisely.. even if you find a vampire tonight, it MAY be best to hide that information, and see if they accumulate a voting bloc on days 2 and 3. Of course, take that with a huge grain of salt, because if you are killed, then you won't be able to reveal who you viewed.

Basically.. now that it's been figured out, we MUST vote illinifan.. because he is now the #1 meat snack for the vampires tonight. As the crazy duke, he really could screw things up for us.

If he is converted Night 1 without using his power, then he has the power to switch a vote still, even as a converted, and uses it AT HIS MASTER'S DISCRETION.

If it makes you feel any better, i was duke last game and they voted me first round...i ended up winning as a useless villager...if you are the duke, then you can do the same...at least you wont be accused for awhile

Day 1

As dusk approaches you gather in the middle of town for your first vote. Everyone seems to think Illinifan999 is a vampire, or at least mad. And when your trying to decide who to lynch, the Mad one always goes first. Before you can lynch Illinifan999, three men dressed in chainmail arrive. Under orders from the Duke himself, they proclaim that you are not to lynch this man. They explain how this man is the duke, well that is he was the duke, until he went plumb mad. They also decree, that the mad duke has selected another victim instead. None other than Neon chaos. Neon Chaos turns white as a sheet. He is quickly encircled before he can run. Seemingly out of nowhere, a stake flies through the air. It hits Neon chaos squarely in the chest, and before your eyes, he turns to dust. He must have been a Vampire!

Ok.. now the problem gets to be a bit harder now.. there's likely one vampy left and.. well.. there's a LOT of space he can hide in.

If anyone's got any good ideas (or hell, bad ideas) on how to flush out the last vampy, let us know). That includes Belmonts seeing vampires.

Oh, also.. remember one of us are likely a vampy now as there's a conversion.

One good thing I just thought of.. if I remember the first post of the game, vampys can't convert three nights in a row.. so unless there's two masters left we are sitting pretty.

The reason that I have been quiet is that there hasn't been much to go on. I quickly believed IlliniFan and joined his crusade. Otherwise, without any superpowers, I had no comments to make and I never am the first one to make an accusation with facts to support my claims.

I am a Belmont. I viewed Illini and henry. As you can see on day one I did not vote for Illini. Henry was slightly suspicious to me. I went with my gut and viewed him and he turned out to be a vampire.

I've still not seen enough evidence from Superman to suggest why he viewed me. If you check the other games I've played I've typically been very quiet early on, nothing suspicious there. If he is Belmont, then he has not given you any evidence for why he selected me last night to be viewed. Lots of people were quiet yesterday, why me. I know why the other Belmont's want to be quiet, because if they accused Superman of impersonating a Belmont then they too would be a large candidate for the vampire's tonight.

We need to vote for the imposter Belmont otherwise we will lose another villager today and more tonight. Even if Superman is only a slave vampire it is better than an innocent villager.

Something fishy about this. Why are so many people voting for Superman anyway? There's only one vampire at this point. I'm wondering if some villagers don't know more than they want to say right now.

They're waiting to be swayed one way or the other. Apparently, superman has them (I believe) snowed. Used to be if someone admitted "Making a mistake" it used to be that people saw it as an attempt to hide the flaws in their argument. I just hope he's right.. there's too many holes in his argument to get me to switch.

Day 2

Once again you gather in the town, for another hanging, and you know someone will be lynched. Henry296 is the most agreed upon choice. You grab him before he has a chance to flee. Superman=#54 is about to drive the stake into his heart when chaos ensues. From out of no-where, Sirfozzie attacks Superman, turning into a vampire. They struggle for a few moments when a stake whizzes by and strikes Fozzie in the back. He turns into dust quickly, but the fight isnt over. You notice dubb93 holding an empty crossbow, and assume that he fired at Fozzie. Meanwhile, Henry296 is trying to run away, but manages to trip over a root. You quickly swarm him, and drive a stake into his heart. He lets out a ghoulish scream, and fades into dust. He must have been a vampire

You feel confident that you have now managed to vanquish all of the vampires. not an easy feat, and it only took you two turns. Only one villager died too!
