What song is this?

I've had this (http://www.driscoll-carignan.com/public/unknown%20-%20stephanie.mp3) mystery song on my hard drive for a couple years now, and it's driving me crazy that I don't know what it is.

I found it on a p2p, credited to the Beatles as "Stephanie" an "Ultra Rare Revolver Outtake". It's not the Beatles, but I'd like to know who it is - it's kind of a pretty little symphonic thing...like maybe David Foster or something. Anyone know this song?

No clue, but the style of it reminds me a bit of Music Box Dancer.

Actually, now that I've refreshed my memory of Music Box Dancer, I think it sounds more like MBD than the style of MBD. It sounds like a slowed-down variation on the MBD chords.

Got it! From a Beatles board:

"Is it an acoustic song? Like an instrumental with acoustic guitar and some orchestral arrangements? I know a track called "Stephanie", and it's totally non-Beatles related... It is from the Buckingham Nicks album, by Lindsey Buckingham & Stevie Nicks, released in 1973 before they joined Fleetwood Mac. And it's quite a beautiful song. But that's the only "Stephanie" I know about."

yeah, I saw that when I was trying to figure it out, but it's not it. I dl'd the Buckingham/Nicks "Stephanie" and, while it is a beautiful song, it's not close. That one is all acoustic guitar
