I'm out of town at a conference, and have been since Tuesday afternoon. I have a bunch of PM's and reported posts to sort through. Before I left, I asked Ryan to hand out any punishments he deemed necessary, and I know he has done so and continue to do so while I'm gone. Today is a busy day; I'm only online for a few minutes now. I *may* have some time late tonight to sort through stuff. I return Thursday afternoon, and my wife and I are hopping on a plane a couple of hours after I return for vacation. I'm still deciding whether or not I want to take the laptop with me for the weekend, so it may well be that I'm out of the picture here until Sunday night. Ryan has my full blessing and authority to give out any needed punishments until that time. I'll be online for the next 15 minutes or so if there are any pressing questions or concerns. Either IM me (benelou) or you can respond in this thread.

I honestly don't get it.

I mean even threads about something like say, fisting. I may not have interest in that particular activity so I would just not particpate in the thread.

I reported one post when someone made up a second anonymous account with the sole purpose of attacking me. Even then, I called them out first, but the dual account use was something different, IMO. The funny thing is that I don't remember either the original user or the second user's screen name.

I have no one on ignore and have only reported one post. It was a year or two ago I think, and it was someone who threatened to kill someone else if I remember correctly. Anyway, it was pretty bad, and I thought it was over the line.

The vast majority of the time, though, I either try to avoid the political topics or simply look past most of what is said there as worthless.

Put me in the group that was surprised there are so many people reporting posts.
