Guys,
I am looking for temperature diagnostic software (ie) cpu, hard drive,memory stuff like that. This is for IBM laptops that we are working on at work. Does anyone know of a good (easy) one to try ?

I believe you have to have something to read the temperature actually built in to the system in order for any type of software to work. I'm not an expert, but that would make sense at least. If you don't have something to tell you the temp. that your cpu is operating at then the software won't be able to do anything.

Do you have something built into your computer for this, and if so can you check the manufacturer's web site for software to use with it?

It will be in the bios for the laptop, assuming a temp probe exists.

As far a a windows based app, I've used Motherboard Monitor(MBM in Jon's link), which is no longer supported, and there are otherones out there. They've all been a bit of a nuisance for me because there is no standard for which probes correspond with which component, or even how many probes there are.
