For a couple of weeks, I've been having this strange problem with firefox - I get the following pop-up when I first start the browser.
"Could not initialize the browser's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your browsers profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not close to full..." - essentialy, whenever I try to access gmail or anything, it gives me a pop us saying it can't do this because SSL is disabled- even thougth, when I check the options, SSL is enabled. I feel like an idiot, but I can't for the life of me find the profile directory (I check the mozilla installation directory: C/Program Files/ Mozilla Firefox - can't find a profile per se), and I have approximately 10 GB of space- so that shouldnt be an issue. I even tried add/remove firefox and reinstalling 1.06 - no dice.
thoughts/suggestion ?
