We recently set up a desk for me to work from downstairs...I don't want to have the TV on, but I need something to fill the empty air space. Can anyone recommend a music streaming site? I checked out music.yahoo.com, but it's $2.99 a month to access...

www.shoutcast.com was always my favorite.

if you install iTunes, there are tons and tons of streaming stations linked from within it.

Spinner used to be great. I don't know how good it's replacement Netscape Radio is.

Real Rhapsody does have a free offer now, 25 stations are free and you get 25 free song plays per month.

I have the Rhapsody Unlimited and like the service, though not sure if I'd use it if I had to pay the full price.
yahoo music charges now? i wonder when that happened. i used to listen to yahoo radio, that was free but they would play commericals every so often.
