UTC time?

I wanted to see the latest images of how close hurricane Jova is to Hawaii and the satellite image says taken at 2300 UTC. Never heard of UTC before and my brief search keeps bringing up University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. Anyone know what UTC time is?

Have you used a search engine before? Try using 'UTC' and 'time'.

UTC stands for Coordinated Universal Time. It is the same thing as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

Nope. UTC is GMT updated with leap seconds. :)
