Fuck the pumpkins! ;) I like the cups! :D
I'm sure I'm not the only one around that remembers how they came out with the 'single cup' for Halloween. :D

Let the Halloween discussion begin.
I'm a pumpkin carving nut.
I use patterns, anyone can use them. But I've perfected putting more
than 1 on a pumpkin at a time. The one has 4 Peanuts characters on it.
The one at the bottom was my masterpiece. It had 5 different carvings on 1 huge pumpkin. The picture doesn't do it justice.
This year, I'm having 12 pumpkins, all different carvings, a fog machine, popcorn machine for the adults.

Nice. I really like the witch. I see you're not that far away. I guess I'll drive to Ohio to get some goodies. :)

Ya know, my first thought was Candy Corn. Then, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that Candy Corn sucks.

I am right up there with you!
We stockpile on these as soon as we see them. So they last me, usually for the year. However, I took them to work this past year and they were gone in a matter of months.

Me and the wife and doing the same thing this year. We did a couple carvings last year and people really seemed to enjoy them so.. we are ramping up to 10-12 this year. With the patterns, really didn't take long..
Not a big fan of any particular halloween candy. I'm just more addicted to the Pumpkin seeds we make...

I generally like all the mini versions of regular candies the best.
I also agree with Mizzou that the Reese's PB Eggs at Easter are the shizz.

I like the Peanut Butter assortment grab bag that Reese's puts out. The Inside Out Reese's are the best. Not quite as good as the Reese's Easter Egg, but really, really good.

Where in Ohio are you? I want to trick or treat at your house!
I love the first pumpkin one. I wish I had that last year for my son's first halloween. Though he was only three weeks old and slept through the whole thing.

Wow. Those are insanely good pumpkins.
As for the candy question, I think my favorite is Twix. But I'm also a huge fan of Butterfinger and Almond Joy.
Then again, I'm one of those jerks who goes to the grocery store the day after major candy holidays and leaves with $20 in candy. It's a fixture in our apartment that everyone knows about- we have a giant tin that is filled to the brim with candy year round except around August and September because there's such a long time between Easter and Halloween- it's the candy dead period. But then Christmas isn't too much after and then Valentines. These make up the 4 Candy Holidays of the year ;)

HAHA, we have a HUGE Halloween bucket that's filled with candy year round as well. Heck, I know we still have some of last year's Halloween candy in there... but it's low and needs the kiddies trick or treat bags dumped in there. ;)

Slacker. :p Our Easter candy is down to 2 cadbury eggs, a handfull of tootsie roll pops in pastel colors, a few chocolates wrapped in pastel foil (you know, the generic kind), and a couple of leftovers like some candy canes from a year or two ago.

I am in Toledo. I've always looked for a 'rocket' themed carving for the Toledo Rockets but never found one.

How in the hell do you have Cadbury Eggs left? Those are usually the first things to get eaten at Easter time...

Well, see, when they go on sale, they're 25c or some years 6/$1 and I grab like 30 or 50 of 'em. Now, trying to eat more than 1 of those at a time results usually results in sugar overload (never mind the somthing like 30/50% daily fat so it's best to stick to 1 a day max). Not that I'm against getting some sugar overload once in a while but it's something best left to a "once in a while" thing. :)

I always look forward to this time of year. My favorite is those yummy tasting candies in the black and orange wax paper. I make sure each kid who comes to the door gets 5.
I never can figure out why my house gets egged though. . .

Anything chocolate: Twix or Snickers (that really satisfies me) will do it for me. Milk Duds are yummy, so are The 3 Musketeers and Reeses, and M & M's (with or without nuts), Hershey's kisses...
