ISU left the reciever hill wide open on that 2nd TD about an hour ago...horrible red zone defense by ISU...been watching the whole game, and army has outplayed ISU

Army needs to score on this drive to keep up the momentum.

My Iowa State and California both with the overs are not looking good tonight in the Yahoo NCAA Pickem contest :(

Army is looking very good. Ross had that team ready to play.

They've harped all night about how the Iowa St. coach didn't let the team go on any tours of the university and kept stressing this was a "business" triip.

The first time they said it Iowa St. was leading and I thought to myself "that's pretty stupid. The only thing he's doing by that is making his team tight."

And that's the exact impression I've had of Iowa St. all night. They are playing scared, not aggressive. They caught a major break by that face mask call. Still, I wonder if they'll just let it out and play or not. My guess is they stay tight and end up losing the game.

As for that NMSU game, I'm stunned at that score. I went to the Colorado/NMSU game a couple of weeks ago and NMSU is simply horrible. CU shut em out and could have put up fifty on them. I figured Cal would be up by thirty by now.

And they failed. Too bad. Good game. Iowa State has always been one of those bizzare teams. They can look like gangbusters one week and look like cellar dwellers the next. After watching this, I don't think it'll be any different this year. They'll beat Nebraska next week. They'll find a way to lose to Missouri again and probably lose to two other teams they have no business losing to.

It's what they are.

If they could lose November 26th in Lawrence, that'd be great. :)

I hope they are up to their old tricks by next Saturday when I'm up at Michie Stadium. It is just an awesome place to see a game.

Next on Army's schedule: The Fallujah Insurgents!

I think Army can beat them. The Insurgents don't seem to have a defense and all their QB's do is throw bombs. I hope Army pounds them into the stone age...

Yup, NMSU is horrid. UTEP hung 28 on them in the first 17 minutes when we played in Week 1 and they only scored once we had our scrubs in in the fourth quarter. Cal should have decimated them...but I have to wonder how much of that is due to Hal Mumme being his usual slimey self and
refusing to give game film (http://www.lcsun-news.com/cgi-bin/artman/exec/view.cgi/225/19536) to Cal...

Went to this game (since it's within walking distance). It was really nice outside and the Corps was really into the game.
