Which is why I hate digital licenses. I've dealt with that several times (plus a rude email from their support staff). I understand why it is better for the small software makers, but it still sucks.

From another thread...

I had an error 31, unable to uninstall license before I left last Monday to Kansas City. I emailed them and on Sunday they gave me another license.

Ditto what most say, elicense has top notch customer service.

Have you tried contacting them today?

I've had them answer me several times when I contacted them on Sunday.

I sent an email on Friday looking for a license. I did not receive a response on Saturday, which surprised me because I have always had fairly prompt response from them. To my surprise, I received a response today (Sunday), as I expected one on Monday (since nothing on Saturday). The moral of the story, I have been happy with their service for the most part.

Yeah, I have no gripe with Viatech (not sure if my post sounds that way). I just wish I would have tried to get it earlier! I thought I had the email saved.

I reformatted my hard drive last night, and despite reminding myself, "uninstall FOF 2004, uninstall FOF 2004, uninstall FOF 2004" -- I forgot. Emailed them today, and they responded 44 minutes later, saying they reiussed my license. Nice!

Here's to hoping they're open tomorrow. I meant to take time earlier today (since I got home early) to call them and get my OOTP 6 and 6.5 unlicensed.

I'm asked if I want to unlicense one of them, but it never actually removes the license.

The other, 6.5, just says it can't unlicense. It won't even try.

I'd like to try and get this on the laptop before I head to Phoenix. It's not the end of the world as I know it. I'll be fine. I'd like to have some baseball though. :)

Sweet. Viatech rules. Got a response about 40 minutes ago.

I have no beefs with viatech myself

All the recent OOTP talk had me itching to play again. So last night I went to install 6.5, it said I needed to install my 6 license first. Went to install 6, it said I've used all my licenses. :(

I contacted eLicense through their Support forum but I haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully they are as prompt as you guys have indicated. I hate that it would probably be easier for me to pirate a game than it is to play the version I purchased.

Well eLicense responded last night saying they had released my license for OOTP. That was reasonably quick, although obviously I'd still prefer to be able to have played a game I purchased years ago without waiting 24 hours.

Then there are those of us who wish we could find the disks from games we purchased years ago and are SOL.
