Wow. Just as it looked like Prothro could turn into a star too, with the highlight-reel catch from 2 weeks ago and a couple touchdowns (including his called back punt return) in Alabama's return to prominence during that rout of Florida.

Oh, my!
I'd seen the highlight once and winced, but that's just nasty as a picture.

Very nasty...I am trying to figure out how that happened. I missed the game....is the Florida player coming down on him, or was it a complete freaky thing?

My daughter looking at the picture: He caught it, but he hurts!
That about sums it up for me.

The photographer in green (at left) looks kinda like I feel after seeing that.

It looked like a freaky think. He went up for the pass and then just came down wrong.
But I could be in error, I couldn't watch it after the first replay, and it looked like he was puking on the field b/c he was in such pain. Awful, and to a guy who was looking very talented too. :(

Um, the Willis MacGahee (spelled wrong I know) ACL tear that was replayed over and over and over and over was pretty bad, too.
Still, that injury looks AWFUL!!! :(
Poor guy.

Saw this thing live... You could instantly tell something was wrong, but he didn't really react like I would have.. He sorta just got on his knees and was rocking from side to side, while the camera was behind him.. With the camera angle his foot was just dangling there... Then they showed the replay and that's when the channel was turned. Horrible injury, that I too compared to McGahee's.

I didn't see it when it happened, but one of the guys on the newspaper wanted to see video of it after I showed up the picture hxxp'd up there.
I found a clip. I really rather wish I hadn't. Turned my stomach, it did.
