Pretty funny, an unbiased opinion of Timmy Boy.

We were watching one of the California Angels - Skankies games last week, and my wife asked me a few questions "about that guy rambling"

1) She wanted to know if you could mute the announcer guy because he was annoying. She wanted to hear the crowd but not him.

2) She thought it was against the rules for an announcer to show favoritism towards one team. She wanted to know why this guy had such a hardon for the Yankees.

Last of all, she said he was a moron. This coming from someone who had never heard of McCrapper.

PS: If everyone in the world hates this idiot, why is he still allowed to have a job? Is he sleeping with someone? Is he the nephew of some big wig? Is he part of the Illuminati?

this thread could easily have been about Phil Simms, Joe Theismann or Sean Salisbury.

Don't forget Bill Walton. Although I wish I could.

FWIW, I think Steve Lyons is just as bad as McCarver. Maybe even worse.

I think the administration believes he may have hidden some WMDs in his ears.

Not possible, I still remember when Deion soaked MCCrapper in one of the post season celebrations for the Braves I think.......can't say that I've seen anything as satisfying since.

That whole announcing team is horrible. At least the three colour commentators.

Fucking Joe Buck doesn't know you can't frigging get a TD on an extra point try.

I feel rather neutral about Joe Buck, but at least he's not messing with Jack Buck. A few of us would have to throw down, then.

He doesn't annoy me as much as some other announcers. And occasionally, he gets things right. Principally, I recall him calling the Gonzalez hit to win the 2001 World Series for the D-Backs seconds before it happened. I thought he made an astute observation there. Five years ago.

So he's the Francisco Cabrera of announcers?

No, but only because he's still around. Had he left the air after that, then yes.

So he's psychic?

He commented that because the infield was playing in, the Yankees were susceptible to a flare over Jeter's head. And that's what happened.
