Rams have already jumped out to a 7-0 lead.
if martz was coaching they'd be down by 30

They have been running the ball well. I really hope this forces the front office's hand to fire Martz.

10-0 Rams. Now we will see an angry Peyton.. Rarrghghghghh!!!

This could be a rather quick game with the Rams showing an ability to run the ball and the way teams seem to be forcing the Colts to run more

Wait, wtf?
I turn the game on, eat, and come back, and it's 17-0, first quarter???
If the Colts win, I'm 14-0 for this week*. What the hell is going on?

the 13.5, unfortunately. Though taking them outright was enticing.

I think the Colts will win the game, so be happy you took the 13.5

The Colts started playing again, and Bulger got hurt. That about sums it up ;).

This my friends is why the Colts are gonna be 6-0.. Timely turnovers forced by the defense and an offense that is finally getting in sync.

Bulger got hurt and the Rams preceded to play catch with the Colts' linebackers. Oh yeah Peyton to Marvin got the record

Usual Colts stuff. Lots of turnovers by the Rams though, the Colts haven't dropped any potential INTs.

I love how ESPN.com has the following on their front page:
"Indy's old reliable offense is bailing out its "improved" defense."
Yeah, cause the fact that the D gave up 17 points in a quarter to a good offense totally nullifies the fact they gave up 29 total points in five games. Their defense really does suck after all. http://dynamic.gamespy.com/%7Efof/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Vegas may set the over/under at 80.

Um, what happened to this game? I flipped to it once during the baseball game, and it was 17-3 or something like that. Did the Cardinals move back to St. Louis or something?
Craptacular

Of course, ESPN now took "improved" out of the quotes and put in italics, like they're highlighting that the D really is, in fact, improved.

Free advice to NFL teams: If you have a truly crappy backup QB, tell your starter when he throws an INT to sprint over to your sidelines! DO NOT try to make the tackle

Can't wait till we ( the Bucs ) get to play them boys in the Super Bowl. :)
I know, I know cart before the horse and all but to me this would be the game that might just cause me to lose interest in football. It'd never get that good again.
It's like the Richard Jeni joke about why he wouldn't play the million dollar slots. It'd ruin sex for him forever.
"Honey, how was it"?
Well, it was good... It wasn't as good as that time I pulled the handle and won a million bucks but it was good. "
It's not just the super bowl but it's against coach Dungy so winning would be perfect but losing wouldn't really suck either. Winning would redeam us from the embarrasing "comeback" a couple of years ago.
What the heck. A fan can dream can't he?
Props to coach Dungy and his Colts. Hope you guys don't expect us to go easy on you this time? :D

any early predictions on the spread for the Indy-Houston game? The biggest I have ever seen is 16.5. I bet this is at least 18

Was there tonight. Love the monday night atmosphere, one of the major reasons I still get season tickets. About had a heart attack during the first quarter but I've seen them start slow enough times I knew everything was going to be ok...
Now onto the funny part, the 2 guys that sat next to me tonight were complete jackasses. They had some stupid sign like
Al,
Big John and the
Colts, GO!
Worst. Sign. Ever, and he held it up the whole freakin game towards the press booths with the stupidest look on his face ever. I mean this is a look that a I would expect Lennie to have during most of, Of Mice and Men.
And then to top it off, with about 2 minutes to go I hear...
"Oh my god is that Big John's head?"
"Yea, holy crap that is big John's head."
What a bunch of fuckin idiots. Nevermind the fact that we are in row 16 dead center of the uprights in the endzone and there is no way they could see up in the press booths, but who the fuck cares about possibly seeing John Madden? And the asshole was on the phone the entire time trying to find out if he was on TV. Needless to say I was cracking up the entire game just at him.

Now, if the sign said
Al,

why aren't you posting on that board anymore?
I'd be really impressed.
Scared for Big John granted but impressed nonetheless. :D

They passed Steve Young/Jerry Rice to become the all-time QB/WR tandem in terms of touchdowns.

I just want to know if it is just me, or if Michaels and Madden were especially frisky last night. In the span of about five minutes, they commented on both Sam Ryan's size 0 figure, and the prospect of Danica Patrick driving the Madden cruiser (a "big upgrade", and it didn't seem to be for the driving).
