Just saw this flicker on my local station's news ticker, but won't be able to see it until 11pm. I tried the official website for SNL, but apparently, it's exceeded it's bandwidth.
Anyone happen to know who it was? http://dynamic.gamespy.com/%7Efof/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif

He's the guy who got fired for cursing on the air. Noted for his "who shot C.R." skits.
Man it sucks that I know that. :(
:)
ps: Specifically he said "who the fuck shot me" to end a show and his SNL career.

Cutting ones own throat is certainly an ambitious way to kill yourself.

Of course, if I'd read the link I'd have seen that this was already covered.

Now that I look at his bio, I do remember him as a bad guy on Max Headroom.

Didn't know him just by his name, but when I saw who he was on IMDB, I remembered who he was.

As someone who watch SNL in the late 70s and early 80s, I don't recall this guy.

He was on the original "switch-over" cast, after the "Not Ready for Prime-Time Players" left. If I remember correctly from reading different books on SNL they were pretty high on him, but he never "paid-off" along with most of that cast. He did have many bit roles in different shows and movies after. Sad.

If the 6 other people that saw the movie "It's Pat" are on this board, you would recognize him as the guy who was obsessed with pat.

That is actually how I remember him as well. So, we'll have to see if the other 5 weigh in on this.

I predict that eventually all of the SNL alumni will die.

Ah yes... the same fate that befell the entire cast of Our American Cousin as performed that fateful night at Ford's Theater. Spooky.
