PureSim Baseball

I have been playing Front Office Football for years, but I've always wished they would come out with a baseball version. Can anyone tell me about PureSim baseball? Is it like Front Office Football or how is it different? They don't have a demo and I want to make sure it is atleast pretty similar to Front Office Football before I buy it. Any info would be great.

How does it compare to FOF as far as the same style of game?

OOTP is the same style of game in that it's a text/management/career sim. It has a different interface, but the style of game is the same. You start out with either real or fictional players, manage or quick sim games, resign players, draft, free agency, trade, etc., etc. I've played both Puresim and OOTP, and I would recommend OOTP. Although it's not as solid as FOF2004, it's still a good game.

I've tried both Puresim and OOTP, and I prefer Puresim. It's really come a long way over the past year. I think alot of the people who prefer OOTP (which is a great game too BTW) haven't tried the latest version of Puresim.

As far as comparisons to FOF, Puresim has an interface and style that makes it more immersive, IMO. Puresim plays a very realistic game of baseball, without the spreadsheet-like quality of FOF.

Both Puresim and Ootp have been sitting stagnant on my pc for quite some time now, my baseball fix has been strictly console... but, if I had to pick one, it would be Puresim... at least for solo play.

Maybe a fresh start via SI games for Ootp will get my interest going again, but I think I would welcome a Front Office Baseball game.
