Sportscenter has become more and more ridiculous, but did anyone else catch a bit of the simulated press conference from the simulated GM of the Boston Red Sox, Steve Phillips? Apparently, a second simulated press conference from said simulated GM is to occur today only this time, Phillips takes the helm of the New York Yankees. Gotta love the simulated press conference with its simulated questions, its simulated answers and its simulated photographers' flashbulbs. Sure ESPN likes to make news, but to simulate the making of news pushes things to a whole new level.
I'm desperately hoping for a simulated interview with T.O. this week. Maybe they can get Chris Berman to dress up for the part.

How about a non simulated punch to the face of Stuart Scott.

As long as Steve Philips is only allowed to read from a script, I'm ok with this, as Mr. Philips is perhaps the single stupidest baseball mind in recorded history.
