That was a ballsy call by Gruden for the 2point conversion. But it makes sense if you get a yard closer after an off sides call. Wonder what next week's game will be? Vikings @ Packers? lol

Hands and feet are the only body parts that are "okay" to hit the ground if I understand what you mean. If any other part of the body touches the ground after contact, you're down.

About the play, Alstott's elbow did come down short of the goal line, but one of the angles suggested to me that he actually got the ball across and got pushed back away from the goal line before his elbow came down. I'm not watching the play right now, and I don't remember the exact chain of events, but I do remember thinking that. Anyway,the call on the field could have gone either way, but I don't think there was enough to overturn it on the review.

I agree his elbow was down short of the line, but you can't see the ball on any of the replays they showed. There's no way to overrule the call unless you can see where the point of the ball was when his elbow went down.

That said ... I'm out already too.
