Any Veterinarians out there?

My cat has been sneezing constantly for the past few days, and recently has developed some sort of eye inflamation as well. It sort of looks like pink eye. He can barely keep that eye open, its very watery, and looks a little inflamed around the edges of his eye. Do any veterinarians on the board know what this could be? We are taking him to the vet tomorrow, but wanted to see if anyone could give me the heads up on what it possibly could be.

Can pets get pink eye too?

Dogs can definitely get pink eye. Not a vet, but my dog had conjunctivitis a while back. Vet gave us some eye cream that cleared it up pretty quickly.

Somebody I know mentioned their cat had an eye infection that spread to the cat's nasal passages and caused loads of sneezing. Sneezing fits, not just the odd sneeze.

A course of antibiotics and the cat was as good as new.
