That will let me create "mixes" that I can then load to my iPod...I mainly want to use this to make stuff to listen to at the gym, eliminate the time between songs, and make different "mixes" that are different lengths so I don't have to worry about going to another track/album while I am working out. Anyone know of such a (free hopefully!) program?

Wow ipods don't do that? My Rio Karma does that on the fly.

So yo want something else aside form making those "on-the-fly" playlists?

Of course itunes makes playlists, and I have no idea what you mean by its not intuitive. It has excellent playlist making abilities.

However, I dont think oliegirl is asking about playlists. I think she is wanting to string several songs together into one file and otherwise do some audio editing.

If that is the case, try Audacity
