The holidays are approaching. The imagery (especially Christmas) used to begin appearing right after Thanksgiving. Now we have it rolling in around Halloween. The holiday season is a special time, where capitalism hits you right over the head. You know what I mean, you thank your significant other for the lovely macaroni necklace, while your neighbor pulls into his driveway with a Lexus for his 10 year old. Let's spend these holidays with our favorite person: Stupid
The Questions:
1.Which holiday has the worst "leaving town" traffic?
2.If O.J. Simpson were a member of your family, and the world had run out of coal, what would you put in his stocking?
3.If your neighbor had lost touch with the spirit of Christmas, what Christmas Carol would you sing to rekindle your neighbor's black heart?
4.Tickle Me Elmo was a real humdinger of a fad. If you were an executive with the company that makes Elmo toys, ______ Me Elmo would be the next big moneymaker. (fill in the blank)
5.What is the best beverage to keep warm with on a cold winter night?
6.Sometimes, parents give their children a pet for a holiday gift. This is a terrible idea, but which is the absolute worst pet that parent could give their child for a holiday gift?
The Rules
The rules are the same as previous FOFC “I’m With Stupid" Contests, as set forth by the game’s bi-curious founding fathers.
The object of this contest is to answer the questions posted, and to provide the most common answer among those submitted. For each question, your score will be equal to the number of people who submitted that response. Your score for the contest will be the product of your individual question scores. Highest score wins.
No collaborating in any way. No posting your answers to this board, nor sharing them by e-mail or in any other way with other potential contestants.
All determinations of "matches" and anything else requiring judgment fall to that of the sole administrator of this round of the game, me. You can reduce the need for doubt and judgment by properly spelling your submissions, being clear, and that sort of thing. My decisions are final and inarguable.
Any references that are unclear to you, due to language or geography, should be understood to be authored from the perspective of an English-speaking American high school graduate. However...
Your answers do not necessarily have to be correct in order to score points. If I ask "What is the best beer?" and you and four other people answer "Guinness", you each get five points even though the answer is Moosehead.
