As some of you know, I love to bake and cook. one of my favorite things to make is christmas candy. Last year I made some chocolate candy for everyone I work with. I am planning to do the same thing this year, but I would like to add a little variety. I need some candy ideas.
The choclate I purchased is a 10 lb. block of Guittard bittersweet chocolate. Its really good chocolate and only around 6 dollars a pound, which isnt bad for quiality chocolate. This is the same chocolate I used last year, and it goes well with the stuff I already plan to make. I plan to make chocolate covered cherries that have been soaked in brandy. I also plan on making several varieties of choclate truffles.
So what I basically need are ideas for a few more candies. Just remember that the chocolate is bittersweet. I need recipes that don't rely so much on just the chocolate providing the sweetness.
