that shows the temp of your pc. is there anything SIMPLE offered for free? i tried downloading one and it had me go through and pick my motherboard and so on. WAAAYYY to complicated. I would just like to see how hot my computer is running.
if there is such a thing. apple seems to offer widgets. there has got to be a pc counterpart

If you do install it, the temperature can be found in the 'Sensor' directory, which is a sub directory of 'Computer'.

ok, this seems pretty decent. haven't found the part where it shows the temp yet.

what is an average temp for a computer? i have been playing ehm for about 4 hours now and it says its about 106F. damn!

From what I understand, the temp should be below 50 degrees Celsius. Note that I am emphasizing Celsius so you won't panic too much.

ok, from what i saw, 106 was about 46 C. I will keep that in mind. Thanks for the info
