Annoying Phone Calls

There is the one phone call, that I get every day, they leave a message on my anwsering machine every day.

"Hi, My name is timothy, please press 1 to speak to representitive, or call me at my toll free number 1-800-xxx-xxxx. Of course if you press 1, nothing happens. I don't know what to do really, should I call them back and tell them to stop calling me? I am on the do not call list, like that matters. But I really just wish they would stop calling. BTW, this has been going on now sine I got my phone in january.

Is this a land line phone or a cell?
What is the company? Are you on the Do Not Call Registry? If you are and the company isn't a non-profit, you should be reporting them..........

Type the phone number into google and see if anything comes up.

Ok, I re-read your post and DEFINITELY if this company is not a non-profit (which it sounds like they're not one), you should be reporting them to the FCC or whoever it is that admisters the DNC registry (not Democratic National Convention, the Do Not Call ;))

I've been getting calls for sportsbooks every weekend for the entire football season. I will never fill the phone number field out again....

its a land line, and they only leave a 1-800 number, however the number they call from is not a 1-800 number. I googled both numbers on the net, and did'nt find anything.

I really have'nt done anything about it, because it hasn't been a big deal, since I usually just come home and find the message on my machine, lately however, they have been calling right after I get off work, and that bugs me.
