Does anyone recognize the movie in the description? This is off the Netflix site.

Submerged (2005)

In director Anthony Hickox's underwater thriller starring Steven Seagal, a submarine's hazardous cargo develops a leak, accidentally releasing a lethal biological agent. The vessel and its crew soon end up trapped on the ocean floor -- and under assault by a U.S. destroyer that's turned on them, traitors within the ranks and, worst of all, mutant organisms inhabiting the deep. Christine Adams and Nick Brimble are among the supporting cast.

I just watched this movie and thought I had received the wrong movie from Netflix. There is about a 10 minute scene on a Sub, but no leak, no ocean floor, no mutants, just a whole lot of army style brain washing going on.

Can anyone put a movie title to the description, because this sound like a movie I would like to see?

Thanks.

Nope.. that's pretty much the description I see everywhere for Submerged (2005)

Although, if you want alien lifeforms and nuclear subs underseas I'd recommend The Abyss...

You bastard you had me. In the movie Submerged it is their second mission and they make a brief refrence to the first mission.

Now I am confused.

After watching the Extended version of The Abyss, I could never figure out why they cut all "The Evil Alien Invasion" scenes for the movie?

Nobody at the Theaters new the aliens were just about to destroy the enitre world.

Plot Outline: Chris Kody, the world's best mercenary, is freed from prison -- but there's a catch. Kody must use his lethal weapons and fighting skills to stop a group of terrorists who have taken over a nuclear sub.

THATS THE IMDB PLOT...sounds much more on the right que

LOL, that is completely wrong too.

Although everything at the beginning is correct.

But, There is no Nuclear sub. After blowing a Damn they use a very old WW2 sub to escape. There is a mutiny on the sub with the prisoners, that had been brain washed, they brought with them. The sub scene last like 10 minutes then the rest of the movie takes place on land when they try to stop this Doctor from Asassanating the President of this third world country at an opera.

I still can't get past the fact that you rented a DVD starring Stevan Seagal.

In this movie, did Seagal play Jimi Hendrix?
