First OT New post - Yao Ming

Upon hearing that he was elected to start at the all-star game, Yao Ming had this monumental quote:

This guy is going to be the latter-day Yogi Berra. Gotta love translations.

I have read that he can speak english decently, but just is not comfortable around reporters. I will give him another year before the fun is over and we lose the chance to have fun with his translations.

I think he has done a good job of handling the press this year. For one reason or another he has come across as intelligent and humble. And the transaltions are are better than the old crap we always here:

"To get any votes is an honor"
"I'm just trying to help the team"
"I'm just trying to give 100%"

The great thing about Yao Ming is that he is amphibious and is able to use both hands equally well.
