Anyone else have trouble coming up with a list of gifts to pass down to the people who ask (in my case that's parents, wife and mother in law). Last year I went on amazon and made a wish list of DVDs and books. I'm completely stumped this year.
Sure I could ask for an ipod or something but I need more gifts in the $25 and under range. Right now I have 8 dvds (sienfeld 4-6, LOR and a few others) along with 3 books.

no need for stuff around the house? tools maybe?
$25 and under is sometimes tricky, I agree...

Can't really think of anything as far as tools go, I'm really old school and find a way to fix everything with a drill and duct tape :)

well then there you go, a new drill and a case of duct tape :D
I don't know, a nice set a plier of all size, or allen keys can come in handy, unless you already have these ;)
Rechargeable flashlight that plugs in the wall, cordless phone...

Thanks for helping but you keep listing things I already have :)
My wife and I are pretty unique I think in the fact that when we need something we buy it immediately, and neither of us have any frivilous wants. Looks like I will be going to my fall back, new clothes **shudder**

I will stop then :p
Oh one more! gift cards? I know they're not very sexy, but they sure can come in handy...
Good luck!

The two things I thought to put on my list I bought while shopping for gifts for other people. Oops.

My wife loves them, but I think I'd be embarrassed opening them up on Christmas :)

Any fan clothing would probably be good. You can never have too many Raiders hats, jerseys, shirts, sweatshirts, socks, etc.

oh good idea, add to that mugs (regular coffee or traveling), mouse mat, clock, what have you...
Calendars can be cool too, something like a day-to-day desk calendar of your favorite team. I know I'd take one :) Or even a nice wall calendar, or two ;)

How about asking people to donate the money they'd spend on a gift to a charity you like instead? Or if they really want to buy a gift, have them find one of the "Giving Tree" type places (where a local charity puts up a tree with the names of local kids' that need stuff) and buy a gift for it. Or buy something for Toys for Tots.
If you don't really need or want much of anything, have them put the money towards something useful.
