I'll use this thread to post the random deals DDD gets to from time to time. Right now they have a boxed set deal going, buy 1 boxed set, get 1 free. Only 150 titles to choose from, but a few good ones. Seinfeld, NewsRadio, Dawson's Creek, the Patriot collection are the ones I'm looking at.

if only they packaged their shipments better. whenever i get a boxed set from them it gets beat to hell because they just put in a small wad of paper for padding

Unfortunately didnt have season 5 and 6 of seinfeld. Oh well, thanks for the tip man!

And it takes FOREVER to get stuff from them.

They're based in Illinois, and it still takes a while to get stuff from them.

I placed an order with them on Nov. 19th. It took them a good week to process my order, and I'm still waiting ATM. But their prices are worth it, I'd say.

they're usually pretty fast for me. the stuff i ordered during their big sale took 5-6 days to reach me. but then again, I ordered during the beginning of the sale and not at the end.

If you order during their sale time and choose the free shipping, it can take a while, especially if you order something out of stock. They will want a week to ship orders with out of stock items to see if they can ship the entire order completely.

I ordered on the 18th and had two out-of-stock items. The first part of my order shipped on the 25th and I received it yesterday. The out-stock items shipped on the 30th and are in transit.

There's a reasons why it's "Deep Discount" DVD. They use the cheapest shipping rates possible, they use as little packaging protection as possible and they try to ship as few as packages as possible. I have never and likely will never buy anything from them outside the sales, but as long as you realize it's not Amazon and don't expect you're package for a week or two, you'll be pleased usually.
