7 days until the Detroit Lions take on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football.
In what should be a battle for the ages, I'd like to officially start the thread for the two worst teams in the NFL about to do battle for all to see .. with the best announce crew in the NFL baring wittness.
I hope there's at least a blizzard in Green Bay so we have an outside excuse as to why the game seems so lousy.
But .. Who cares .. Lions will take it in a 4-2 battle. Packers get their saftey when Charles Rogers holds Nick Barnett in the endzone in a valiant effort to stop him from getting a hit.

This game wont be any worse than that Jets/Saints game a couple weeks back. ESPN has had some real stinkers this year.

This is pretty much true every year. However, I think the SF-Arizona game from Mexico tops 'em all. At least the Jets/Saints game was close. The Lions/Packers game will probably be close (and even if it's not, we have the comedy weather factor). Arizona blowing out the Niners in a foreign country is the pinnacle of Sunday Night Football comedy television.

That won't stop the ESPN announcers from talking about how great 75% of the players on each team are, despite the team's records.

Yes. And they will be right. For at least 75% of the players on the Lions are the greatest players in the NFL.... for me to poop on!*

Hey! I am going to that Packer game Sunday night. It should be a stinker, but hell, it's still an NFL game. I don't mind it snowing that night, but hopefully the flight to Vegas on Monday afternoon won't get delayed.
